Background:

Hyun Jae was born and raised from a rich family. He's very cold to new people, and sometimes even to his friends. Its only because he never felt that he was loved by his parents, and siblings. As a kid he was quite the ball of energy, and would always laugh and smile. He treasured his parents, and would always want to be noticed by them, but they never took the time to care about him because he was the youngest of three kids. He would try his best at school, and became the top of class. He's also the student council president. All this was for his parents, but they didn't care. His older brother would one day take over the company, his older sister is very smart, and is very well-known around the world. His parents really have no need for him.

Growing up he had a nanny to look after him instead of his real parents. Hyun Jae grew quite attached to his noona, and looked up to her. She was one person he felt that he could trust. But when he turned 13 his parents fired her. Hyun Jae was shocked, and extreamly mad at his mother and father for getting rid of the one person who cared about him. They told him that he was old enough to take care of himself, and that it was improper behavior to talk back to them. From then on he shut himself out from the rest of the world and became a expression-less, emotion-less human being.

He had a very hard past, and it affected him in many ways. The happy, cheerful kid that once would make everyone laugh turned into someone who couldn't care less about people, and would always ignore them. Its uncomfortable for him to express himself, and he doesnt know how to handle other people's feelings also. When girls would ask him out he would walk away leaving them shocked. Its not because he doesnt like them, its because he's embarressed to do something wrong.

 

Personality:

Hyun Jae is the type of person who gets sad often, but would never show it. He puts up a facade to hide his true feelings, and he has a hard time letting anyone in. He's very awkward with people, and has quite a snarky attitude. People often mistake his attitude for being a snobby rich brat, but they never took the time to get to know him and his past. He's distant, and shy. Like a normal teenage boy should be. People often say he's mature for his age, and that his personality is that of a strict CEO.

All Hyun Jae wanted was to be loved, to feel like he fits in, and to know that someone cares. He doesn't believe in love, and has a hard time trusting people. Because of this he only has a few friends, and never dated anyone before. Hyun Jae knows whats right, and would never let anyone get bullied. He's the type of person to stand up for people, and would never use violence. He's good with his words, and it gives him a 'cool' vibe. Hyun Jae is chic, and very calm. He rarely loses his temper. He doesn't normally have any emotions at all.

Even though he's cold, he's the type of person that you can trust with secrets, and he would never tell on you. Many people look up to him, and he always tries his best to fit his role of student council president. Hyun Jae learned not to depend on his parents, and believes that what you learn, will stay with you forever. He used to try for his parents, but now he tries for himself, and his own future. He doesn't need to depend on anyone, which is good, and bad.

Hyun Jae has a pretty face, which attracted many company offers. He accepted one, and started to train without the knowledge of his parents. Everyday after school he would go to the practice room, and work on his vocals, and dancing. For 7 years he practiced, and practiced (besides the holidays) just to prove to people that he had talent, and that he's not just someone who got in because of his looks. Hyun Jae only sang for himself, and would not allow anyone else to hear his voice. He was afraid people would mock him, and laugh. His trainee experience was lonely, but he put everything that he had into practicing, and always tried to improve.

Hyun Jae was the King, and HyunA(4minute) got voted Queen. They also got to pay for a date with the king or queen. Suzy, wanting to help her future school paid about $12,000.00 for a date with Hyun Jae. They went out to an amsument park, and Hyun Jae actually enjoyed it. At the end of their date they said goodbye. The next month Suzy transfered to his school (because of her dad's work).
