(Writers) Let's Do 'Dis #16 - Reality VS Realistic & CBX (Chen/BaekHyun/Xiumin MV - Reality TV the 1st ;)
Someone brought something to my attention yesterday.
It was in direct response to my previous post - and this isn't me calling any one out.  It just made me think.
>Yesterday's Post was about Plot Holes.
But this comment mentioned people wanting relief by reading unbelievable stories.
If fixing Plot Holes has been confused with not being able to create your own universe/worlds, I apologize.  I don't think I made that mistake, but if I did tell me.
Writing realistically is different than writing like our world - the real world.
Every world that writers create has it's own set of rules.  It works how you want it to, and hopefully all of it's functions have a reason for working the way it does.  It's not our reality, but it's based on the reality in that world-
-Regardless if it's a floating space colony in the year 3000, or a modern day under water AU, or a Hybrid AU thirty years from now - the world they live in is their reality.

So writing realistically doesn't mean we have to write according to the laws that our world (the real world) go by.
It works how it's supposed to - there.
And - there - can be as far away from our reality as possible.
And isn't that the escape we're all looking for - writers and readers?
I know it's as fun for me writing something as reading it.  The only difference between writing and reading, is that when I read someone elses work I have no idea what's coming next.  I look forward to watching it all unfold.
I read long before I wrote-
-and I never grow tired of stories, discovery, that adventure, or any of it.  I understand all about escape, because reading kept me sane growing up.  That escape was my lifeline.
If I can entertain just one person each day, give them their escape:  I have lived my dream.
All the writers I read growing up helped me, so I am grateful knowing I can do the same for someone else.
So, what's your Writers Tip for today?
Ask yourself why you write.  There can be a million reasons, and they can constantly change.  That's ok.  Just give yourself the current answer(s).
This helps you remember where you came from.  It may fuel your passion for years to come - until you have to remind yourself again:  Why am I doing this?
NextTake a good look at your work and askWhy am I writing this... and this... and this?  What's it's purpose?
If it doesn't have a purpose give it one - or get rid of it.
I know people want escape, but it still needs to be realistic.  Let us enjoy your world, and not leave us scratching our head, because we're confused - or there's something blaring obvious that shouldn't be there.
Unless it's Crack, and like I said:  This can be an exception, because - Crack.  Certain liberties can be taken, no matter how ridiculous.  However, even with Crack, there has to be a Plot, no matter how loose it is.  We have to get from an point A to an point B - A beginning to an End.
I hope this tip helped.
Until tomorrow-
Enjoy,

[!] Me-Share:
Today, I contemplate my immediate future.
Why?
I've been having a rough time lately.  I went in to a manic/panic attack that lasted a week before I realized I couldn't work any more.  I didn't quit.  I'm still employed, but I have been out for health reasons.
I'm getting help.  I've started a treatment plan at a nice place, and all the people make you feel hopeful - and not like your some crazy person.
- Strange Thing:  I ran in to my biological dad.  I haven't seen him in years and guess what?  He also has Bipolar Disorder.  It doesn't excuse his not being around, but a lot of his behavior makes since now.
It's actually kind of funny.  I'm not sure why.
Like father like daughter, I guess.  Haha.
Anyway-
-the contemplating my future is the whole me being out of the job (temporarily), and not bringing in an income.  I've considered doing Copy Writing.  Did you know that what I'm doing right now, blogging is a form of Copy Writing?  It can make good money to.
I just thought I'd share, because I'm excited about it.  It's something I've been considering for a long timeI've even joined a couple reputable training businesses to gain skills and knowledge about it, so it's not just a pipe dream.  I've been training for it.
It'll also helped limit my exposure to the public, because being around so many people for so many hours at work, is what triggered me to begin with.
So, here goes-
-I give my self thirty days to 1) Get a website up.  2) Get up examples of my work.  3) Get my first client.
Go!

Videos (What will they be today?)
About two years ago I created a page full of Exo happenings for that year - videos and news about them.  I delved and found videos that others hadn't seen.  That's  how much time I spend on YouTube, and people loved it.
So, I'm not going to post as many on one post, but will post them through out.  That way the entertainment continues, and you don't get burned out.  Plus, my pore fingers and eyes:  I really shouldn't type and stare at a screen as long as my obsessive self seems to want to do.  ;)
So, on to first video-
Video 1
CBX Travel the World-
-CBX... isn't that-
Yes - Exo - Chen, Baekhyun, and Xiumin.
I didn't even know this was a thing until I accidently found it.  And I was like, "Yay, something new and fun for me."
And now it can be fun for you to.
It's exciting to see just them on a reality show, instead of the whole group.  Even if I miss the group as a whole.
I haven't watched part II yet, but I will, and I'll post it tomorrow.  Feel free to skip ahead and watch it on YouTube, and even if you do... it'll still be on tomorrows video ;)
And last but not least, let's start the day off with some UP music-
Video 2
AronChupa - I'm an Albatraoz - OFFICIAL VIDEO

Until Tomorrow-
