Hello everyone! To quote Monty Python "I'm not dead yet!" However, I've been quite the busy unnie/noona lately. On May 26th at 11:29 pm little Rarity made her little, but dramatic, debut into the world and is already two weeks old! So I'm on leave of absence/maternity leave until August (on an even better note: hubby has paid leave so I'll have a lot of help with the Little Pea as well). And now that Rarity is sleeping a lot better and I'm also feeling better there should be some more updates on It Began With a Dance and Closer soon.

I will also hopefully be working on my book manuscript, depending on if I can get the files from my old laptop onto my newer one (hopefully old putzy will run long enough to load the files onto a flash drive). I may post a little of my non-fanfic project on a blog here if anyone is interested in checking it out, just leave a comment if you'd like to see it. ^_^

There's another thing that's been on my mind a lot the past few days. A case manager where my midwife works suggested that I take this time to think about what makes me happy and what I want to do with my life. I know I've wanted to be a published fiction author since I was in 6th grade, but I've always had doubts on my writing abilities and if I would be able to get published at all. As I've said before, I began writing fanfiction as a writing excercise because I felt my overall writing skills were lacking. So now I'm going to take some time (when I'm noting caring for baby and Nerd Herd), to work seriously on making that dream come true. I love working at a pet shop, but I don't think that it's something I want/can do as a full-on career. I still don't know if I can do it, but I now I'm willing to give it on honest try!
