1. How did you come up with your user name and what does it mean?

I thought it would be cool to somehow use “once upon a time”, but I also wanted to use “EXO”—since I mostly write about them—so I came up with switching “time” with “EXO” which to me made it sound like it meant it was a story about EXO (does that even make sense to anyone but me? >ヮ<)

2. Which is your most subscribed to story?

Heat °˖ ✧◝(○ ヮ ○)◜✧˖ ° It has 3175 subscribers rn!

3. Why did you pick your user photo/thumbnail?

With the exception of SuLay, I mostly write EXO-K pairings, so I thought it kinda fit (plus they all look y as hell in that photo! (¯﹃¯) ← me drooling over them teehee)

4. Who is your AFF bestie?

Yesssss! I have a sekai fic (they are half brothers who were not raised together… It's a little like the movie “parent trap”, but with romance and between the siblings X'D) that I had been posting on another account for a while (and have since then taken down) (⌒_⌒;) I'd love to finish it on this account one day, but it always worries me how people will react (°⌓°;)

Plus my family is super religious (Christians), so I always worry about them somehow finding my account (⇀‸↼‶) If I posted things like that, then I would probably worry even more.

10. Is there anything you would like to be better at on AFF? Writing, graphic design (posters), replying to comments, updating regularly, etc..?

Definitely updating! But life (ノ_・。) And I always want to work towards becoming a better writer （＾ω＾）

18 (⊙.⊙) Whoa! I didn't know it was that many! 9 are on this account, and most of the rest were on my old account (Joelii), but there is only one on there that isn't in draft mode rn (⌒_⌒;) And then the sekai one I deleted (but still have saved if I decided to continue it later) and one story I had been co-authoring but stopped (•̪●)

13. How many stories do you have saved in your writing program?

I stopped counting at 36 because that was just my OnceUponAnEXO folder… I have 9 google doc accounts (⌒ヮ⌒;) So let's just say I have lots of works in progress and story ideas saved for the future .·´¯`(⌒ヮ⌒)´¯`·.

14. Do you write down story ideas, or just keep them in your head?

I write them down as often as I can. Not that I'm worried I'll forget or anything! It’s just that you get the best details when the idea is fresh (＾ᴗ＾)b

15. Have you ever co-authored a story?

Yes, once (҂⌣̀_⌣́) but I stopped because I couldn't find the time to write both it and my own stories with all my health stuff *sad*

16. How did you discover AFF?

I was on Tumblr one day and saw a recommendation for an EXO fanfiction and was like, “Hmmm…fanfiction..? I'll give this a try.” .·´¯`(⌒ヮ⌒)´¯`·. And I've been here ever since!

17. Do you consider yourself to be a popular or famous author on AFF?

No! Lol ٩(๑❛ヮ❛๑)۶ But I'm a friendly one!!!

18. Do you have a nickname or fandom name for your readers?

No (⌒ヮ⌒;) and I don't know if I ever will… I like to think of my readers as friends rather than a fan that I would call by some fandom name.

19. Was there an AFF author who inspired or encouraged you to write?

Yes! Back when I first started writing (on my old account), Itdoesnthurtme played a big part in encouraging me to write and even gave me kind yet honest advice (which helped me to grow a lot as a writer)! I wouldn't be the author I am today without her help and encouragement!

And now my bestie, BaekMeSomeEggyeol, too! She's always encouraging me and reading my horribly unedited and messy first drafts. And she helps me when I turn into a hot mess because I got stuck or something isn't turning out right! (っ˘̩ ᴗ ˘̩)っ❤ I love you Bunnoala!! (if you ship baekyeol then go read her stories! They are awesome! And if you are already a fan of hers, then anticipate some of the things she's got coming out soon, because WHOA!!! ❤.❤)

21. What writing advice would you give to a beginning author?

Don't be afraid to make mistakes! That's the biggest thing in writing. Worrying about that will just hold you back. So just go for it! There will be people who will appreciate your writing and the effort you put into it even if there are some mistakes or your grammar isn't perfect!

And the other biggest thing is just write! Even if you don't post it… even if you never show it to anyone… write as much as you can, whenever you can! I believe that wiring is like a sport—you can learn all you want about it but you won't actually get better unless you practice it! (^_−)b

22. Do you plot out your stories, or do you just figure it out as you go?

Meh ¯\(°.o)/¯ sometimes I plot, sometimes I don't. Sometimes I'll just have a very basic, very vague idea in my head of where I want things to go, and that's it.

23. Have you ever gotten a bad review or comment on a story? If so, what did you do?

Yes, but they didn't have anything to do with my story (´･_･`;) I had trouble with one of the readers on my old account. She got a little crazy and started stalking/harassing me. It was pretty awful! (＾～＾) That's why I created this account actually. Every time I blocked her, she would just create a new account and continue (╥_╥)  Because of that, I had to abandon the original account for a while.

I found out a few months ago that she did it to someone else (where she lives) and was put in a mental hospital (⊙o⊙;) So now I can use it again! Yay~ I'm planning on editing and reposting some of my stories on there (one is up now if you'd like to check it out… The Dark Kai Rises)!

24. Is there a certain type of scene that you have a hard time writing? (action, , etc..)

Not so far (⌒_⌒;) but I haven't written many action or fighting scenes...
 

25. What story(s) are you working on now?

The Breakfast Club, my current ongoing fic (I try to only work on one chaptered fic at a time ^^;)

And I'm also trying to finish up a few things like Paper or Plastic? and a oneshot called “Hello Neighbor” that is almost completed (it's only missing two scenes).

And I have two fics in the works for when I finish TBC...

One is called “(Un)Wanted”. It's a high school au featuring Baekhyun as identical twins. They were separated at birth (one raised in foster care, the other adopted by a wealthy family) and then they meet by accident in high school. It will have both baekyeol and kaibaek!

The other is called “Four”. It's a werewolf and vampire au, featuring werewolf vampire hybrid Baekhyun (*squeals*), and werewolf Chanyeol! Baekhyun is found in a secret science lab during a raid on a slaver's den. Being the first of his kind, he is taken to Dr. Chanyeol for him to decide if the hybrid is a danger or not.

(I'd love to hear which one you'd like to read more, (Un)Wanted or Four? (^_−)☆ )

26. Do you plan your next project(s) before you finish your current ongoing story(s)?

Hahaha .·´¯`(⌒ヮ⌒)´¯`·. I think my previous answer establishes that I do!

27. Do you have a daily writing goal set for yourself?

Yes (°⌓°) at least 750 words a day… but I haven't been able to make that in a while because of caring for my dad.

28. Do you think you've improved as a writer since you first started?

Definitely!!! I love my first story, but it was a hot mess! ¯(°ᴗo)/¯

29. What is your favorite story that you've written?

Hmmm… Then He Kissed Me maybe? (＾ʚ＾) it's short but sweet!

I don't think I have a least favorite. I liked all of them!
