Jisoo is all about fashion, known as 'Fashion Queen' (only she calls herself this). She has the latest fashion magazines, attends fashion shows in her free time, and spends a lot of her time searching up the latest trends. Even if the trend was wearing trash bags, Jisoo wouldn't hesitate to do so. Jisoo got her love for fashion by growing up in NYC where everyone would dress nice. Small details :
Jisoo has this 'natural beauty' which makes women envious of her but with her obsession with makeup she covers her natural beauty.  Pony is her inspiration for her everyday makeup (x) and it takes her about 30 minutes to do all her makeup. Jisoo has naturally straight black hair however she dyes it to a dark brown and always wanted wavy hair. She has milky white skin but being from America where being tan was everything, she is envious of those who are able to have tan skin (Jisoo doesnt get tan, only sunburnt) and believes that tan skin is beautiful and no one should be ashamed of having it (expecially in Korea where people get mocked for). She has a high, straight nose and knetizens accuse her of having plastic surgery on it but its all natural.

In Depth: 
-The first thing you notice about Jisoo is that she's very reserved and quiet. She wont really talk to anyone except those who are close to her however there are very few since it takes a really long time for her to warm up to a person. This is why she becomes friends with those who are outgoing and talkative to help herself break out of her shell.  She is more of a listener than a talker and wont speak unless spoken to. At first. Once you become close to Jisoo, she completely flips personalities and you cant get this girl to shut up. You dont need to be even listening to her, she will just ramble on about nothing. People think that Jisoo is a because they see her actively talking with her members/friends but when they try to talk to her, she barely speaks
-However, Jisoo is very reliable. She is always there when you need her whether it's a shoulder to lean on or just a little cheer up. She hates not seeing a smile on her members faces. She's the type of person who is honest and looks at both the small and big picture. She keeps your promises and secrets to the grave and she never leaves you hanging. Jisoo is willing to do anything for you without expecting anything in return. But this sometimes ends up as Jisoo getting taken advantage of since she will do anything you ask. She puts others needs before herself and is loyal till the end.
- You wouldnt expect it, but Jisoo is very weird and 4 dimensional.  She thinks of things that other people wouldnt think of. She just likes to let loose and be her crazy self which surprises people. Sometimes she gets stuck in her own 4-D world, zones out, and blurts out stuff that doesnt make any sense and confuses the other members. She likes to perform weird and funny dances for her members/friends and does paraody singing. Her ideas only seem genius in her head but when she acutally goes through with those ideas, she gets laughed and made fun of because theyre so weird and sometimes stupid.
- Jisoo likes to do everything on her own and doesnt want help from anyone else. She feels like a bother or inconvenience when she asks for help and therefore fends for herself.  If she had to lift a 200 kg boulder, she would try by herself till she passes out from fatigue which also makes her stubborn.

- It's not that Jisoo is dumb, but it just takes her a while to process things. She has a slow reaction and while others are laughing at a joke, a minute later you will hear Jisoo laughing at that same joke.  She often gets misjudged and thought to be dumb which is where she earned the nickname "Pabo Soo". She also got the title "blackhole" because she often messes up the choreography and has no common sense.
- This quiet girl has a very competitive nature.  She takes everything as a competition and always strives to be number one.  If things dont go her way, she throws mini tantrums which makes people call her a sore-loser. Instead of focusing on entertainment and making people laugh, she focuses on the actual competition.
- Jisoo is very self-conscious of herself. She allways second guesses herself and believes that what she does isnt good enough.  She feels vulnerable talking about herself because she only sees her flaws and what wrongs with her. When she gets complimented, she doesnt believe them since she cant see how theyre right.

So What's The Story?

Background:
Jisoo was born on December 27th, 1992 in New York City.  Her mother is Japanese born and raised in America while her father is Korean and moved to New York for his job. She is the youngest of three with an older sister, Jiyoung (1985), and older brother , Jisung(1987) who really shaped who she is. She was always getting compared to her older sister by everyone else.  No matter what she did and what she achieved, she would always be compared to Jiyoung.  Even if she did someting better than Jiyoung, everyone would cheer on Jiyoung. Jisung, on the other hand, was her role model gorwing up.  He was the best brother and would always pay attention to her as if she was his world. Being with Jisung is one of Jisoo's favorite childhood memories.  He was also the reason why she grew up boyish wearing his hand-me-down clothes or buying clothes meant for boys.  She even had short hair because Jisung had short hair.
Growing up, Jisoo has always been extremely quiet.  All she would do was just smile at everyone because her brother would be her voice and always spoke for her so there was no need to talk.  However when school started, she didnt have her brother and she had to fend for herself. Jisoo transformed in school from going from boyish looks to following the fashion trends. She was also known as one of the best singers in the school which inspired her to become a singer.
Her parents however was against the idea and would constantly tell Jisoo that she was a bad singer just so she wouldnt audition.  But when Jisoo was 14, Jisung secretly took her to audition.  Her parents didnt find out until she got a phone call saying that she passed the audition and that she had to fly to Korea. Her parents were furious and wouldnt let Jisoo go which led to a huge arguement.  Her brother and sister had both bought Jisoo a one way plane ticket to Korea and took her to the airport so she could achieve her dreams. Now she barely talks to her parents.

In Depth:
Lee Changsun is a very fourth dimensional and eccentric character. He comes off as a fool with a great body who gets confused easily, he is very honest and genuine in what he does, even if that means ruining his image or getting in trouble with his company.  He is very hard-working and determined to do his best whether its singing, dancing, acting, or entertaining.  Towards Jisoo, he is very protective over her, so proective that he will call out those that are rude or mean to her. He gets jealous easily when he sees her hanging out with another guy and wants her attention on only her. To fans, he is a muscular fool who is horrible and is a man named Lee Joon, but to Jisoo, he is a treasure friend named Changsun who she couldnt imagine life without.  He loves making her laugh and he is one of the only people that she can really open up to and tell him everything.

How you met: 
Jisoo became a trainee for J.Tune Entertainment in 2007 and met Changsun. At first, Changsun was intimidating to Jisoo and she couldnt bring herself to talk to him. But she was also intrigued by him.  She always saw him laughing and joking around with the other trainees but once he started training, he was so serious and hard-working that he seemed like another person. He was the reason why they became friends. He would always see Jisoo standing to the side by herself and wondered why because she was so pretty. So one day he just started talking to her as if they've known each other their whole life and all Jisoo could do was nod because she was so shocked.  But Changsuns conversations with Jisoos nods led to little words and then nonstop talking. They were inseperable. But in 2009, Changsun was chosen to debut in MBLAQ and Jisoo was transferred to SM Entertainment so they got separated.

The way you act around each other: 
It is a well known fact that Jisoo and Changsun are friends and they are known as 'dumb and dumber' when theyre together.  They never stop talking with each other but they also do dumb things together because they both have no common sense.  They show a lot of skinship such as hugging or Jisoo holding Changsun's arm or Changsun putting his arm around Jisoo's shoulders just because they feel so comfortable around each other.  However, they also argue alot because they have no common sense and they both think that theyre right, even when both of them are wrong. But they can always tell what the other is thinking and is said to have telepathy with each other. When Jisoo is in a bad mood, Changsun will repeatedly ask Jisoo "why?why?why?why?why?why?" really fast and loud until she finally tells him while with Changsun, Jisoo will just leave him alone because she knows he wants her attention and will tell her in order to gain her attention back. They like to refer themselves as the "JJ (JisooxJoon) Duo" 

Status:
They both like each other but they arent aware of the others feelings. They also dont want to ruin their "perfect" friendship so they are afraid to move forward with their relationship.

The Journey

Trainee life: 
Trainee life is never easy. Jisoo came to Korea all by herself not knowing the culture, although she did know the language. She would call her brother everyday after training, crying that she didnt fit in and was so lonely.  Jisoo began as a trainee for J.Tune Entertainment and never had any friends until she became friends with Changsun. But when she finally had friends, she got transferred to SM Entertainment and had to restart over again to loneliness. She would get called 'mute' by the other trainees because she wouldnt talk to anyone except the instructors. Then Irene joined SM and Jisoo noticed that Irene was shy just like her so she decided to toughen up and talk to Irene, instantly becoming close. 
Jisoo would train 6 days a week, spending her Mondays getting tutored and the rest of the week she would be at the building trainee.  Saturdays and Sundays is when she would spend all day rigorously training.  Her vocals were her strong point she she spent a lot of her energy practicing dancing, and acting.  She never had any experience in dancing but she had always wanted to be a good dancer so she would practice extra time at dancing lessons.
