#3. A Kpop Parody ... Sorta [Dong Saya Dae M/V]

Ryan Higa along wtih other youtubers collaborated for this kpop-ish (at least their hoping for it to be, hence it's in korean but with mostly trashy lyrics --srsly, no offense higa fans--) music video. I think they're just trying to make people laugh though, hence the absolute ridiculousness of the song. But for kpop fans, esp. die hard kpop fans, this could get quite offending because whatever americans and american music say, kpop is made or produce (if you prefer the term) out of utmost perfection. Heck, they 'manufacture' their music and artists hence the high degree of completion in each song release. This may seem like a diss (both the video and my opnion, depending on which side you look at LOL) but then again, its for the sake of comedy (at least for the video). I could say the visuals are very nice, since its with wongfu productions, but over all its a poor parody of what actually kpop is, but I really appreciate the effort and skill put into it. Needless to say, to non kpop fans and listeners, I hope this doesn't post a statement or stereotype of what actual korean pop music is. It's an art and I highly encourage everyone to have a critical mind (beyond the screaming, dying, fangirling, keyboard smashing, stanning, etc.) while listening to it. Stay awesome!

i like ryan higa but yeah i see your point tbh. i just dont mind it, it was mad for entertainment purposes and if it was a parody then this ticked all my boxes, yeah it might be offending people but then they just shouldn't watch it
