some say that nari was made for the role as the student council president and others say that she changed since she came into the power. nonetheless, nari is a mature and responsible person who would be the perfect leader, with her charisma and ability to command attention with her words. but there's a reason why she is called the 'queen' of the school and that's because she practically rules over the scool with an iron fist. she doesn't have classmates, she has followers and that's all she needs. she doesn't want to work together with people, she's bossy and wants people to obey her every command and never question her orders. heartless and cold, she's been called, the ice queen who uses people then throws them aside. she knows what people are saying about her behind her back but she doesn't care (or at least, she pretends not to care). after all, who needs a heart when you're the president? who needs friends when you can have minions?
to a lot of people, it seems that nari is abusing her power but she really isn't. abusing power? her? that's not something she would do and that's because of her strong moral compass. she firmly believes in right and wrong and will (and does) do anything to preserve her belief in what is right. you can call her narrow-minded because she has a very strict definition of what makes a good guy and what makes a bad guy. according to her, if you step one toe out of line, then you automatically become a bad guy in her books, it doesn't matter what your intentions were. after all, the road to hell is paved with good intentions
rules are the very basis of nari's existence. she's a real stickler for rules and according to her, rules were put in place to be followed, not to be broken, not to be bent. they were there for a reason and that is the preserve the peace. if peace in the school is preserved by everyone hating her for being a tyrannical president, then so be it but she knows that she's doing the right thing. nari is also a perfectionnist. she's a neat person at heart and everything that's hers is always neatly organised. she's all about coloured coded pens and subjects, books lined up in alphabetical order. a lot of people call her a neat freak but it's more accurate to call her a control freak. you see, nari likes to have control and that's why she enjoys her role as president so much. she likes being able to wield power over people and her love of control also extends to controlling the environment around her by keeping it in a neat and orderly environment.
nari is a pretty conservative person. you can't really blame her when you see the household she was raised in. she wears the bare minimum of make-up, her hair has never been dyed or styled in any way and the idea of making modifications to her uniform is just shocking. you wouldn't expect it from such a heartless person but she is actually pretty innocent. after all, she leads a sheltered life, raised by traditional parents who wanted to protect nari from the corruption of the world as much as possible but don't think that just because she's innocent, that means that she's gullible. there is no way of trying to trick her and up to her just to give an advantage to your club is as good as impossible.
there are three words to describe nari. pretty, prim and proper. it's annoying how good nari is at everything and it makes people hate her even more for her attitude. she might not be drop-dead gorgeous but nari is rather pretty. if that wasn't it, she's also very intelligent, consistently placing in the top three for every exam she takes. and as much as people hate to admit it, the school has never been in better shape after nari's careful and clever planning about the budget, even if the club fees increased. and if those two weren't enough, nari is also good at sports. she doesn't play much anymore, too busy with council duties but she's a natural at every sport that she's played and it's so frustrating how perfect she is. there's a reason why teachers adore her so much after all, even if some students hate her.
but there's a side to nari that most people don't know and it's something she refuses to acknowledge herself. you see, nari is a proud person and her pride makes her stubborn. she refuses to acknowledge that there might be anything wrong with the persona that she's created for herself because that would be going back on all of her pride and she refuses to do that. she's stubborn enough to keep doing the same thing over and over, sticking by her morals and principles even though she, ultimately, is lonely. she doesn't have anyone she can really call a friend as her work with the student council is strictly work and everyone else in the student body is either intimidated and scared of her or hates her with a burning fire. but she refuses to admit that she's lonely, insisting that she doesn't need friends to do what she wants to do.

i love this school and i will do anything to protect it
background. nari was born to a pretty traditional family (they wore hanboks practically all the time and their house was made out of wood with a stone garden in the back). she lived a very sheltered life as she was the only child and her parents tried very hard to protect her from everything horrible in the world. they were the type of parents who lived vicariously through their child by making nari participate in heaps of activities from archery to basketball to ballet to martial arts and even if nari hated it back then, now she is grateful to her parents for pushing her like that.
lifestyle. nari wakes up at the crack of dawn every morning (even the weekends) and does some archery practise in the morning and occasionally martial arts. her house is situated up in the mountains and her parents are a firm believer in exercise and are also always busy so she rides her bike to school and arrives very early. she's always in the student council room and arrives before any students and most teachers. she also stays back late after school because she loves the school so much and likes being there. she could practise piano at home or she could play at school so sometimes, after school, when no one's left, she'll have a play. when she gets home, she cooks dinner for the entire family on every second day and then does work or practises.

school record. nari's school record is spotless and it's a shocker to everyone to see her appear in the counselling room. she's always early to school and even tries to come to school when she's sick (she gets sent home by exasperated teachers) and has never had a detention in her life as she's never broken a rule.
according to her, the entire reason why she's even in the room is all a misunderstanding. nari was trying to break up a fight but when they wouldn't listen to reason and only sneered at her for being that pretentious president , she punched them to get them to break the fight up. but those kids were just brawling and she's a fully trained martial artist so she might have hurt them more than she had intended. the teacher's understaood of course, but they also mentioned that the school had rules and if they let nari go, they would be accused of favouritism and then everyone would start fighting. after that, she understood and agreed with some reluctance.

father | hwang jihoon | jihoon is a strict father. a skilled martial artist who now trains other students, he's both her father and her coach and taught her everything he knew about fighting. that way, no one would ever pick on his precious daughter. he might be strict but he's kind and even if his rules are somtimes annoying, rules are rules.
mother | kwon sora | sora is a teacher of two things, primary school students and piano. however she only taught piano to nari for the first few grades until she decided to send nari to a more skilled teacher. she's a patient and gentle woman but overbearing at times and extremely overprotective of nari. heck nari is already 18 and still doesn't know anything about and that's all because of her mother.
student council vice-president | choi nayoung | nayoung and nari aren't what they would consider friends but more as colleagues. nayoung is proficient and adept at her job and nari likes her because she's useful. but the two of them don't hang out outside of student council duties. nayoung is often called the president's guard dog because nari doesn't do her rounds without nari at her side so it's rare to see nari walking around the corridors by herself because she's almost always on duties. nayoung is a loud and confident girl but she accepts nari's authority and that's just the way she likes it.

- as a child, nari took lessons for: martial arts, piano, flute, violin, art, ballet, singing, archery, basketball, swimming, theatre etc. she basically did everything
- out of all those activities, there are only a few that she's kept up with and they are: martial arts, piano, archery and singing. most she dropped after a few years but whilst she has stopped going to ballet lessons, she's alright at dancing it.
- nari has the girl-next-door sort of look. there's nothing especially eye-catching about her but she's somewhat comfortable to look at. she is 158cm tall.
- nari has a phobia of thunderstorms
- she is atheist and firmly believes in science but she has the sense not to laugh at people who do believe in a god
- she won't ever admit it but she has a thing for really girly and cute clothes. of course, she has a reputation to uphold, as the heartless president so chances of that happening are pretty low
- she likes cold weather in general because wearing layers is her thing and soft woolly scarves are the best
- she likes making origami stars in her free time and she collects them all in a jar. she doesn't know how many she's made but she's almost at 1000, she thinks
- she likes sweet things (she has a real sweet tooth)
- perhaps the amount of sugar she ingests everyday is why she has insomnia - she only sleeps around 4 hours a day

- she's pretty damn good at cooking

how are you doing in school right now? very well, thank you for asking. i enjoy school very much and i am always looking for ways to improve life for the students who attend this wonderful academy.
how did you end up in counseling? it all started because of a bit misunderstanding but the teacher's have insisted that i set an example for other students so it is with some reluctance that i am here.
what's your opinion on the other members you've just met who will be joining you on this journey next week? i tend not to associate with such -cough- creatures so i suppose it will be a new experience for me. i will be able to witness first-hand the lives of rule-breakers.
what do you expect to gain through this counseling club? there is nothing to be gained from it as i am only here as part of an obligation.
in this counseling club, we are expected to foster an appropriate safe space for those who may not have such a thing outside these walls. So... what's your gender identity and your ual orientation? i identify as a female, which is what i was born as. my ual orientation is...um...if you promise not to tell my parents...i'm interested in -mumbles- both genders.
