Hyuna is a person too.

I had an epiphany.

Hyuna is normal.

After watching this video I FINALLY realized that Hyuna is a person just like you and I.

Sometimes you can forget that idols are people. They have personalities and dreams. In this (short as hell) video she looks human. No flashy lights or y dances. I can't believe it took me with long to figure it out...

The truth is I've really been mistreating Hyuna over the years. While I praise Trouble Maker and 4Minute as a whole, I never gave Hyuna the credit she deserves. I despised how popular she was and how much attention she got compared to the other members. But I needed to grow the up. She's The Face of the group. That's a big title in Korea considering how important visuals are especially in girl groups. She's so hardworking and puts 100% effort into whatever she is given and it looks so natural. Not many idols can do that.

She may not be the best female rapper in Korea but she is talented and gorgeous and 4M wouldn't be as popular without her. (Yes I said it) She is a grown @ss woman who can do whatever she wants. She can be y. That is OK.

Confession: I love Hyuna and her music <33

Here's a little #Throwback ^^

Same!! At first I was wary because I grew up thinking that "Ahhhh women should be conservative!". I was irked at first, thinking "Why does she have to show so much skin?" "Her moves are too... sensual..." or stuff like that so I was really hesitant. But I liked her music, and I slowly began liking her too! I love her dances, and her confidence. I watched videos and I grew to love how human Hyuna is behind the popularity and business. Especially when I watched Hyuna's Free Month!! It was so heartwarming, to know that she has to deal with so much but still try to be confident and kind.

She believes that women can wear what they're confident in, that they're beautiful whatever they choose to wear, and she encourages them that being y isn't a bad thing, it's something empowering. And it breaks my heart that some people call her '' or '' or other derogatory terms just because she has a y concept because she's a real sweetheart. She's hardworking and diligent, and she genuinely loves her fans. So I guess it's the haters' loss, because they couldn't see how much of a gem Hyuna actually is~

Honestly, I used to hate Hyuna. But then I realized that I was jealous of her (her body especially) and after admitting that to myself I came to love Hyuna. I find reasons to defend her when netizens or anyone has anything bad to say about her. For example, when people were saying that Hyuna went to a fashion show "" and should just stop. She was wearing clothes people! And she looked fabulous.
Sorry, I'll stop cause I can rant forever

I love HyunA, especially when she's y. Idk, I have something for y women who aren't afraid to be y ~
But no, she's not the best rapper out there, but she doesn't deserve hatred ~

ever since 4minutes debut i remember being immedately attracted to just hyuna for some reason lol and ever since then ive always followed her and growth lol. i know that sounds uber cheesy but its true ive been a fan of her commitment and strength to break that "innocent / cute" barrier that was dominate back when she had her solo debut and even now. ive watched her shows in which she cries when she missed her mother and the cute messages from her mother that keeps her smiling. i know how completely hard it was for her and people always set her on this pedestal of being something worse than what she actually is lol. she's just living her dream <3
