HELLO READERS! :)

I decided to make this update to explain why I've been off the radar and not commenting or replying to everyone like I usually do and to address a few things. Work has been just stupid. We have one day it’s so slow I want to just lay on the floor and sleep and some days it’s crazy busy and people decide to call out leaving us short staffed. Regardless, I still get to read them on my break and when I get home. I’d like to thank everyone who takes time to comment and read my fanfiction. You make my hectic work life less stressful and brighten up my mood when I’m feeling horrible. Besides, it would just be me thanking everyone individually and how much I appreciate everyone’s input and opinions on the characters and chapters.

Back to the update, another reason I’m not replying is because of the two upcoming chapters for you guys. My god…… they are long as . I’m not going to say the exact word count for both chapters but I will not be making chapters like those again unless they are focal and very important to the plot like these are. Going from that, I’ll be releasing the next two chapters into 2 parts each. So this week you’re getting part 1 of chapter 27 on Wednesday and part 2 on Saturday and the same for chapter 28 next week.

Also, I’d like to address something that was kind of brought to light to me. I know that my story is a fan fiction. Hell, the site it’s posted at is called AsianFanFics, however I never intended my story to be a big rush into PetEarn’s relationship. I decided a long time ago that if I was going to write a fictional story about them and how I wished the series took their relationship as if they were the main couple, I’ll do it with respect and flesh out their relationship. Remember, PetEarn was a fanmade couple, a phenomenon that is rarely seen. To be truthful, we didn’t know much about how they interact or how close or connected they were other than the fact that when they are on screen and have scenes together, their chemistry is off the charts.

Back to the point, if it feels like it’s dragging on to get to that point, understand that there is a reason why and it wouldn’t be satisfying for me or, I’m hoping, a lot of you if I just made them a couple now without proper closure on things I’ve hinted and made in previous chapters. The next few chapters won’t be 100% revolving around PetEarn, however they will answer and resolve a couple of things that have been left unanswered for certain characters. After I've finished and have posted those ones, then we can finally get to the juicy part of the whole story.

I’m hoping everyone understands where I’m coming from. Remember, it’s not where we end up but the journey we took together to get there.  If a long novel like story with character development isn’t your cup of tea, I understand the frustration and get if people decide to stop keeping up. Hell, Lovesick has been over for months now. But if you like what you’ve been reading, are into novel type stories, and want to see my versions of Pete, Earn, Card, Por, Lhew and other characters grow and have their endings, I hope you’re still on for the ride.

I’ll continue to write and finish this not just for you guys (the readers) but for myself because I have a love hate relationship with it. I hate that it eats my time so much during my day offs but I love reading my work, your comments, the positivity it brings, and having the story I wished for Pete and Earn to be shared with others. Words that also stick to me that I’d like to share came from Jae.

“It doesn’t matter if I have 1 thousand readers or just 1, I’ll still write and finish my story so long as there is 1 person willing to read and enjoy it.”

These are not his exact words and it was less poetic but the meaning still stands. I feel the same way and even if my subscribers/views/readers decrease, I’ll still be here making and posting chapters till the end. :)
