I did my hair. I did my make up light. I was dressed up. Nicely, casualy, but still nicely. I let out a deep breath, nervous. Very nervous.

It was a lovely morning, and here I am, in a cafe near my house, waiting for him to show up. I moved here about a year ago, after I got into the university here. I didn't want to stay in the domintory, and I'm pretty capable in earning for my expenses. (Breathe.) I'm part-timing at the bookstore just up the road. It's not much, but it pays good. (Breathe.) It's a nice town. (Breathe). It's holiday season (Breathe) and it's my day off from my part time job, (Breathe) for this day, I mustered up the courage to ask him out to meet me...oh my Lord. It's certainly nervewrecking for me. I'm so nervous to meet him again after so long.

It's been years since I met him, and I'm surprised that he agreed to meet me. He and I had a good relationship years ago. Ever since we broke up, I couldn't forget him or what we had. I would try and convince myself that I've moved on, but I everytime I had the chance to start a new with another, my mind always goes back to him. The memories he gave me, the sweet, intoxicating memories, made me stay in love with him...or maybe just the memory of him. And it hindered me from advancing forward.

"Hyunie, have you thought about where we could be if we weren't together?" I asked my boyfriend, as I swung on the swings. We were at the playground near my house, out in the cool night.
