"Hey I'm Kai!"

"Oh, um, I'm Cindy, but you can call me Soobin if that's easier..." Cindy mumbled.

"Oh you're Korean then?" Kai asked puzzled.

"Yeah," Soobin said. She couldn't help but overhear Wendy's conversation as she was basically shouting. Her partner however seemed unphased by Wendy's actions.

"Sehun let's go quickly! I have so much to show you! My house is so big, you're lucky you got me as a partner you know!" Wendy said snobbily.

Soobin couldn't help but roll her eyes.

"You wanna go now?" Soobin said, Kai nodded in agreement.

Kai looked at the girl, at first Kai wasn't that happy at the fact that he was getting a female exchange partner. He was not open to the idea of a girl drooling over him at every aspect. But this girl was different, she didn't even seem to notice how good looking he was which surprised him. He glanced at his friend Sehun, who seemed to be disliking his first moments in Canada. He felt bad for him, what he was going through was Kai's nightmare. He saw as the girl was linking arms with Sehun and talking about herself. He chuckled. 

What he didn't notice was that his own exchange partner had walked ahead of him. *Odd, she didn't even wait for me.* He thought. He quickly picked up his bags and ran beside her.

He glanced at her. *She's quite pretty* he thought. He stared at her some more and then at the other girls in the room. He noticed the difference between them. A lot of the girls dolled themselves up and put on outfits that seemed to be picked out weeks before. Soobin however, was wearing jean shorts and a black knit top, something extremely casual. He wondered how she still managed to look better than most of the girls there.

*Why does he keep staring at me* Soobin thought, she sneaked a couple of glances at him and each time he seemed to be looking at her. She tried to quicken her pace.

"
