"Eslek!!! Open the !@@$%# door now!" Wulfgar roared banging the door of Eslek's Library slash residence.

After a night out in the Drunken Raider Tavern that ended rather expectantly in Gimael into a full out brawl (much to the thanks of Gizzur and his sadistic psyche). Haruka 'Paruru or Salt' Shimazaki was having a heart attack. Takamina was holding her in the head while shielding her from Gimael's midnight snow storms. Then as if a grace by God, the door opened.

"I was in the middle of some translations when you started..... Hey!!! Easy on the robes I just...... What the hell happened to this Girl?" Eslek asked after being pushed over by Rainoric, Wulfgar, Hayato, Osgar, Ulrich, Sakura, an unconscious Haruka, Takamina and Gizzur with his retinue.

"Short Breath Es. Where's your breathing machines?" Osgar asked tensely

Eslek quickly guided the Gedriht upstairs to the his personal clinic at the top floor of his residential workplace. After laying Paru gently on a bed, Eslek strapped a mask around her head and preceded to turn on the machine when he stopped. Sakura could see that he was looking for something.

"Belye*! I forgot to change the dust cell. Rainoric! Wulfgar! Help me power up this thing!" Eslek ordered to the other 2 non humans in the room.

"Please Rainoric-san! Please save my sister." Hayato pleaded tugging his bear pelt.

"I have seen her fight! Never in my life a lady who can fight as hard as a bear robbed off of its young. I shall save her." Rainoric said.

He then moved forward to the machine with Eslek and Wulfgar walking aside him. They went in front of the machine that was the only which its inactivity is standing between Paruru and a very gaspy death. The 3 Broken Lords gestured their hands forming a ball and pushing it to the machine's Dust cell compartment. The Machine sprang to life as the 'Veins' became lined with Dust's gold like color. As it worked Paruru began to breathe again. At first she started to breathe heavy gasps of air but soon her breathing coherency was back to normal. She dizzily looked around on her surroundings seeing her friends, her Master and his friends and Gimael's resident Scholae surrounding her. Then Hayato bursted out from the crowd and hugged her sister crying.

"Ane! I thought I lost you!" He said. Paruru also shedded some tears as she hugged her brother. She smiled as they hugged for about a minute then he let him go.

"So what happened?" Salty Paru asked

"You had an Asthma attack after the bar fight Paruru. Wulfgar, Eslek and Rainoric saved you." Sakura broked the news.

"Doumo arigatou gozaimasu Rainoric, Wulfgar and Eslek-san." Haruka said in gratitude

"Thats 'Thank you' in Japanese my lord." Sakura explained

"Oh! Eskerrik asko for fighting some of those drunks with me Haruka or Salt.... Hehehe... Salt...." Rainoric laughed.

"So Ms. Shimazaki as im told your name is, You will have to stay on this bed for a few days until we can be sure your Short Breath or Asthma as in the insistence of your friends say." Eslek prescribed. Paru nodded in yes. Then she told her brother:

"I'll see you soon for the Anstrutrione Exam then? Please train hard with Osgar-kun ok?"

Hayato bowed down to her sister and then bowed again to Osgar accepting his tutelage.

Sakura couldnt feel any more but relief, after a tiring fight on the Tavern she just wanted to just unwind. Takamina however was curious over the stacks of books that were scattered all over Eslek's home. She grabbed one of the books but unsurprisingly she found it to be in Aurigan. Dropping the book she asked Eslek who was administering some medicine to Paru:

"Did you say you are working on some 'translations'? Japanese translations if I can ask?"

"Why yes Miss Takahashi, Follow me. Wulfgar give the medicine to her." Eslek replied.

Sakura also followed her friend down to Eslek's office downstairs and saw his works-in-progress. Books from Japan ranging from Magazines, Mangas, textbooks and even cookbooks. At Eslek's desk was a crudely made book that had a strange seal on it. Sakura examined the book and saw that their were words Japanese words written in Kanji or Romanji next to letters in the Aurigan alphabet.

"Thats a prototype Japanese-Aurigan Dictionary you hold Sakura. I could use your help with it." Eslek offering a job for Sakura to do.

"Well, I could use some money to buy better food for me and my friends." Sakura replied

"Then it is settle, you and Takamina are now my part-time proofreaders and translators. You can come back tmrw after you have done your duties in the hold." Eslek said entusiastically.

--------------------------------------The next day----------------------------------

The noise of wooden training weapons clashing echoed the Hold of the Eadwulfs as Hayato and Osgar sparred each other. Training for the Exam, Hayato wasted no moment preparing his body for the Exam that could potentially make their life in Auriga better.

"Pak! Bam! And now duck and stab! Good! Very good!" said Osgar as he instructed Hayato in the art of combat.

"I did it! So when can we on horseback?" Asked Hayato

"Right now come on! Wulfgar, conjure up a Horse outside now!" Osgar said as he lead the young and hopeful brother of Paru outside to a makeshift training field. There was a training dummy and a half conjued Dust horse courtesy of Wulfgar.

"Grab yourself a spear, a sword and a range weapon by the armory while I set up your horse for the day." Wulfgar said waving his hands as the Dust horse was being conjured.

Hayato and Osgar walked towards the armory and observed their choices. Their were Long Spears, short spears, swords, axes, hammers, javelins, crossbows and even bow for Hayato to choose from. Hayato grabbed a medium length spear in the Armory.

"Ah! The Gimaelic steel lance, virtually unbreakable and a favorite weapon of the Anstrutrione Calvary guard good choice!" Commented Osgar.

Hayato continued on to rummage through the piles of weaponry for a melee weapon and a range weapon. As he dugged and pushed his way through the armory, a familiar sword caught his eye. The sword was lying around a pile of rusted weaponry as if it had been treated as mere trash. Hayato approached the sword. It had a slight curved and its handle was wrapped around some leather. The scabbard was written in his language of Japanese in the Kanji writing. Osgar looked on with a curious brow as he saw the strange sword mesmerizing Hayato.

"Osgar-san, this is a Katana. A sword that comes from my native Japan. And look, its in fine condition! Im taking this one." Hayato said while shedding a tear of joy and a grin of amusement.

"Very well then, now grab yourself a Range weapon, Anstrutriones always carry those in battle."  Osgar said complementing Hayato's new sword.

Hayato then walked towards the range weapon's section of the Armory, as he searched he saw another weapon native to his planet. It was a 870MCS Shotgun. As he carefully handled the weapon so he wouldnt accidentally set it off. He saw that the shells were still loaded into the gun and the gun itself is most likely never been fired yet.

"Oh! You Earth Humans make some really weird crossbows. I assue you would want to use that dont you?" Osgar asked

Hayato nodded yes and with his new equipment in hand walked out of the armory ready to grasp his destiny as an Anstrutrione.

----------------------Meanwhile-------------------------------

Sakura sweated on her forehead as she translated Japanese to Aurigan, with the help of Takamina and the mentoring of Eslek she was able to add several hundred words into the dictionary. After being hired by Eslek to translate languages for him she has been treated with some respect around the Hold as most of them dont want to get on Eslek's bad side unless your the type of man who would like to get zapped like a thunder rod by his Dust Magics.

"I want to thank you girls for helping me with my work. The other Scriptoriums around Auriga are eager to read some of Earth's collective knowledge." Eslek thanked as he let down a tray of the 2 AKB girl's lunches.

"No problem Eslek-san, In Japan we are very hardworkers." Takamina said

"Well, maybe thats one more good thing I can right on my reports about the Japanese other than weird shaped food that surprisingly tastes good and beautiful women."

"Arigatou Eslek." Sakura said with flattery, she turned back to her work to finish translating some more books. Takamina was assigned to translate Novels and Mangas (much to her delight on the latter one) while Sakura was assigned to translate magazines. Most of the magazines that Sakura would see other than the occasional and Gravure was News and Bussiness times. As she scurried around the literary works of her homeland one magazine caught her eye. After pulling it out of its paper rubble she recognized the cover.

It was the magazine that she and the other Kami 7 that they took right after the Senbatsu. She could see her Oshimen slash rival Sashiko in the center, Sayanee at her side and Mayuyu above her. Sakura couldnt help but let out a sad smile be shown on her face as she reflected on her past life before being taken to Auriga.

"Hey Sakuratan! Your going to eat this bowl of rice or what?" Takamina shouted as she indulged herself with some steamed fish and rice that Eslek was generous to provide for his part-time workers. Sakura quickly hid the magazine on her cloak and ran to get her share of lunch. As they ate the Asian staple, Sakura would mum out words in the Aurigan Dialect in a way that a 2nd grader would say when memorising the multiplication table. Eslek took notice of Sakura's new found talent of the local dialect and said.

"Hey! I could use an extra hand on writing down Rainoric's Biography. He comissioned me to write down his exploits as he goes around the planet to complete his passage of right."

"Eh? Me? Write a biography? Well, ok since you asked." Sakura said with a smile of consent.

"I can draw quite well. I can even sketch drawings for you too!" Takamina added, she then grabbed a piece of paper and sketched a drawing of Eslek. Takamina while mucning down on her lunch a sketch of Eslek much to his fascination. When she finished, she passed her drawing to the Dust coate hands of Eslek.

"A fascinating subject? Can you also draw Master Rainoric, Osgar, Wulfgar and Ulrich too?" Eslek asked

"Yes! I can, I can even draw some of your planet's really cool landmarks too." Takamina replied

"Then its settled! You 2 girls will be my secretaries for Rainoric's Biograpy. Here, Sakura take this Blank notebook and journalize the Journey when it happens soon. Takamina, you can use the Sketch book and if your really are a good drawer, sketch the various sights, events and places on the Journey. I will compose them together to make the biographt."

After hearing those words from Gimael's resident librarian and receiving a notebook and a sketchbook from him. Sakura and Takamina left Eslek's place to go back to Hayato and see what he was doing with his training from Osgar.

When they arrived at the frontyard of the Hold, they were greeted by a flying helmet that was launched in rocket speeds. Much to the surprise of the 2 AKB girls, they stumbled down to the floor like a dokkiri prank was thrown at them. When they stood up from the shock, a Dust Horseback riding Hayato carrying a shotgun greeted them.

"Sorry Takamina-san and Sakuratan! I was practicing my new shotgun riding skills." Hayato apologized seting aside his new shotgun behind him.

Sakura could see that Hayato was on Horseback while carrying (aside from the 870 MCS) a Katana from their homeland and a longspear.

"Hayato! That's a dangerous toy your playing with right now! Get rid of it before someone gets shot." Takamina angrily said.

Just then Osgar and Wulfgar ran towards the Earthlings with excited smiles and cheeriness.

"Hayato that was great! That Helmet flew off of the dummy like woosh!" Osgar said ing his hand forward mimicking the movement of wind.

"Reminds me of the time when I cut a bandits head off with my axe! Bastard's head flew across the field and hit another one of his buddies knocking him down, before promptly being stabbed in the belly with 5 different stabbing weapons. Ha!" Wulfgar reminiscenced

"Why is Hayato carrying around a shotgun? Do you Gimaelics know anything about proper parenting or anything blatantly civilized?" Takamina said

"Hey! Slash your tongue wench, my dad gave me my first spear when I was 4 years old! I killed a Geldrius cub that my father caught as my first kill. Then me and my parents at it and it was lovely supper." Osgar argued. Takamina walked up to Osgar and began to repeatedly hit him. Osgar however didnt bother to hit back but just blocked Takamina's feminine strikes.

"Osgar-san! Takamina! Stop fighting!" Sakura shouted as she set herself between her GM and the Spearmaster.

"Please! Takamina! Im doing this for all of us and my sister. I want to prove to the Gimaelics that we are not cowards." Hayato argued as he went down from his Dust Horse. Takamina, now shocked that the reason why Hayato was eagerly trying to join the Army was to help them especially his sister have a better life in Auriga. She bowed in apology to Osgar and went out of her way. Dinner that night was for the night was quite ecstatic. The Hold's guards were giving Hayato words of doubt, dares, astonishment, encouragement and jokes as he began his weeks long training of becoming a Anstrutrione.

Sakura after seeing the events happening today decided to retire to bed after dinner that night. But instead of sleeping she began to write in her new Notebook. She first journalized how she was taken to Auriga, how she met Rainoric and his friends, 'Gimaelic Justice' working in hand, the Alpha Geldrius hunt and the Bar Fight at the Drunken Raider before letting sleep embrace her.

------------------------------------------------------------------a couple of weeks later and some sweat from Hayato-----------------------------------------

Today was the moment of truth for Hayato. Today is the Exam for who will be recruited in the next generation of Anstrutriones and Hayato motivated by his newfound training and the hopes of his fellow Japanese left the Hold with his mentor Osgar on horseback. Rainoric, being one of the people the Anstrutriones were sworn to serve in battle was obligated to attend the trial. Bringing with him was his Father, Gizzur, Lethuc, Wulfgar, Sakura, Takamina and a now fully recovered Paruru. They made their way to an arena like ground outside of Guaita's walls. Rainoric quickly found his assigned seat and sat with Wulfgar carrying his imposing axe by his side and his companions of Earth Slaves.

Then the trumpet blared and Leofric Wieskirche appeared before the line of hopeful could-be Anstrutriones with Hayato being in that line.

"Young warriors! In proclomation of the new military reforms by our King Gewis who may he fight forever. Has decreed that those who would want to increase their military standing in life! Shall undergo a trial and may be promoted to that said title if he succeeds. I know most of you are veteran warriors or young men who trained for days for this opportunity or maybe even a young lad who has the heart of warrior stuck in the body of a slave, Im looking at you Hayato." Leofric said. Some of the examinees giggled at the sight of the young boy.

Sakura began to survey her surroundings yet again. She could see an ample amount of people ranging from the Nobility, the Artisans, other Warriors and most surprising of them all was fellow Japanese slaves who have come to see their fellow countryman fare on his exam. Looking down on the field she could see 16 hopefuls including Hayato himself all eagerly waiting for their first trial.

"For the first task! Is a simple Duel starting from horseback. Whoever beats the other man's brains out will win the joust also be one step closer to becoming an Anstrutrione."  Leofric proclaimed.

For the 1st match it was Hayato vs a Veteran Gimaelic Warrior. Sakura could see how uneven the odds of the match was for Hayato and said to Rainoric:

"Is this fight fair? Hayato has only 2 weeks of training while that man he is up against probably killed like 10 men or something."

"I know Osgar really well Sakura. He once trained an entire group of conscripted farmers to hold their lands untill the Hussaria* came by for reinforcements. Their only casualties was a broken foot, a lost tooth and some flesh wounds. I say that this match is even." Rainoric replied.

"I was also there believe me, Osgar is a really good teacher." Wulfgar added.

Then a Trumpet was blasted signalling the start of the match. Hayato and his adversary's horses galloped in lightning speed as they point their spears at each other. When the spears collided to the chests of both riders, Hayato was sent flying off of his horse while his opponent was firmly sat on his horse. Sakura, Takamina and Paruru got up from their seats and watched in shock as Hayato was on the floor squirming in pain.

"Hayato!" Paruru shouted in despair and shock. Sakura looked on to the painful scene as she felt pity for Hayato. As she was about to accept Hayato's vain attempt in glory she felt a hand touch her shoulder.

"A warrior can slay a thousand men but his true worth comes from how much can he be hit back." Rainoric quoted. As those words escaped his spirited mouth. Hayato painfully stood up, his legs were wobbling and his head cutted with drops of blood pouring down the lad's face. Then he roared in Japanese:

"Watashi wa ushinau koto wa arimasen!" He quickly grabbed his still intact spear and stanced himself in a braced position.

"Im still standing!" He taunted to his oppenent.

Enraged by his own failure to bring down an adolescent child, the rival rider charged with his steed towards Hayato in a frenzied charge. Hayato engaged his feet, raised his lance and braced himself as his spear contacted the head of the rider. He fell down from his horse onto the ground much to the shock of the crowd and Paruru alike.

Hayato walked towards the man and using his spear, removed the face cover of his rival's helmet. He could see that his face was limp and the man was unconscious.

"And the Winner is.... Hayato Shimazaki the Earthling!" Shouted Leofric.

The crowd cheered from Gimaelic to Japanese alike. Sakura's jaw dropped as word of Paru's little brother's triumph was roared around the arena. Rainoric got up from his chair and cheered:

"Yeah! Umph! Yeah!"  Raising his hands in the air as if celebrating a soccer goal.

Paru, who was carrying a basket of fruit as she watched the whole duel gave a pleasing smile to her Earth friends and Gimaelic masters.

"So 'Salt Fist' your little tyke is a brave one." Said Gizzur while bitting down on an apple.

"Yeah, And he is going to be a brave one." She replied.

As the crowd cheered on, Leofric blew a trumpet to call calm around the stadium as he announced the next event.

"For the next trial! You will have a Free-for-all! Last 6 people standing gets to be in the final challenge! You may use any weapon you want sword, fist, spear or even someone's helmet! Now.... 1..... 2..... 3..... Fight!" Leofric said.

The contestants rushed in to the arena grounds with swords, clubs, axes, spears and even a mop and began to bash their adversaries for their own survival. Hayato gathering himself after the duel, readied himself with his spear while making sure his Katana is in hand to fight in close range.

"Ah!!! I love a good brawl! Tear'em apart young lad!" Rainoric shouted across.

The battle was indeed brutal to look at. Men clubbing (of-not-the-dancing-kind) with other men. Spears were ed or thrown. Swords were clanged and slashed. And axes were hacked. The crowd (mostly the Gimaelics) roared like lions at the violence that ensue, much to the disgust of the japanese who were watching the spectacle with them.

"Make him scream!"

"Slash'em!"

"Beat that W***reson!" Cheered the Gimaelic crowd as the fight went on. Sakura could see the Human Nobles of Gimael she was sitting were laughing and cheering. Raising their drinking cups or vessels in the air or going up the edge of their balcony to bang it like a drum cheering on a team in the Finals game back at Earth. Just as the fight couldnt get any more violent and over the top, a commotion happened between one of the Audience members and one of the aspiring warrior contestant.

"You couldnt even beat up a child with that swing of yours!" Said the jerky sports hooligan

"I want you to say that in my face when I beat your face so hard,Your eyeballs pop out!" Said the contestant. He climbed up to the elevated position of the Hooligan grabbing him. He then dragged him down to the floor of the arena and began to repeatedly punch him in the face. Some of the Hooligan's friends began to come down to help him. Then some Gimaelic soldiers rolled into try and stopped the Hooligans only to be stopped themselves by even more hooligans. Then an arena wide chain reaction of violence happened. The arena was roared with men punching each other and people screaming. Sakura took cover from the madness behind Rainoric's chair. Takamina was also behind her while Paruru was hiding behind Wulfgar who was shielding himself and her with his shieldback. But Rainoric wasnt faltering to the carnage he saw. Instead he was aroused. He began to cackle and cracked his knuckles. He stood up and said:

"Now this is more entertaining!" He dropped himself down into the tornado of men, punches and steel. To the now no longer shocked Sakura, she saw Rainoric began to fight some humans again. Just as she was about to hide behind the chair again Paruru shouted:

"Hayato is still there!"

"A young lad like him cant last in a Gimaelic Riot I need to save him." Said Wulfgar who quickly went down to the Arena floor to rescue the Prodigal Japanese kid. Sakura quickly followed him and dropped down to the ensuing brawl.

Chaos was the word described for this scene as Sakura had to fight her way through the jungle of bodies being broken, cracked and thrown at her. Punching a man where it hurts was a tactic that most women should know when it comes to self defense in which Sakura made short work off. As she continued on she bumped into Rainoric again who was busy brawling a bruiser that he quickly gave him an uppercut to the jaw knocking him out instantly. He turned around to Sakura and with a surprise tone on his voice he said:

"Sakura? This is a men's fight! What are you doing here?"

"Hayato is in trouble! I need to save my friend's little brother. He is just 12." Sakura replied

"Very well. I admire or dedication to one's friends. Now show me how dedicated are you." Rainoric tossed a bruised but still conscious man to Sakura. Sakura reacting in self defence rather than savagery punched the man in the face just as she was told in her action drama stunt training.

"Nice one. Now lets find Hayato shall we." Rainoric said now beginning to move himself in the maelstorm of punches.

Sakura took a deep breath, meditating to herself on the ensuing battle she will face. And when she opened her eyes. She began to sing....

"Bokutachi wa tatakawanai ai wo shinjiteru furiageta sono kobushi dare mo orosu hi ga kuru yo." She said the 1st verse of the song.

Rainoric who was busy punching people couldnt help but think about Sakura's singing ability. It was the song she sang at the Drunken Raider in that barfight 2 weeks ago. His mind suddenly went muddled as he lost some focus for awhile.

"Those words??? What do they mean?" Rainoric's subconscious said. He was in his thoughts for a few seconds untill he was interrupted by a punch to his Broken Lord helmet/head's face.

"nikushimi wa rensa suru dakara ima tachikirunda." Sakura continued to sing. As she sang more of the songs Rainoric's mind was focused all at her singing and rather than the fight. Still perplexed and mesmerised by her singing he walked towards Sakura and loudly asked:

"What in Wodan's name are you singing about? It's muddling me!"

" 'We wont fight.'I remember singing it several times."
"WONT fight? Were in a bloddy fight right now!"

"Your people are in chaos right now my Lord, without a leader to control them they will quarrel amongst themselves. They need someone to bend to. You will become a King one day. I suggest you start acting like one." Sakura advised.

"Very well but first we need to find your friend Hayato. Lets get this on." Rainoric affirmed.

They continued on forward fighting there way through the brawl. With a synergy of 2 buddy cops, Rainoric and Sakura together fought waves of hooligans untill they reached a very surprising scene. They saw Hayato, Osgar and Leofric fighting like a team against the hooligans as Osgar would bruise them up with his spear, Leofric blinding them with his Dust Magic proficency and Hayato knocking them down on the ground by striking them with the hilt of his Katana like Kenshin. Hayato after striking down yelled another foe looked at Sakura who was already experiencing some weariness smiled.

"Hey Sakura! I never had this fun in my life!"

"Yeah but the funs got to end! We still have a exam to finish." Leofric added while punching a man in the gut and quickly giving an arcane blast with his Dust Magics.

"How? This fight could last for hours!" Osgar argued.

Quickly thinking of the current situation in hand, Sakura looked around her for something that can get the attention of the people who were fighting right now. She spotted Hayato's new 870 MCS tucked behind his back and asked him to give her his shotgun. Getting the pump-action weapon, she pointed the weapon up at the sky and pulled the trigger unleashing a deafening blast that was heard through at the stadium. Everyone shocked by the loud noise quickly stopped what their doing.
 

Rainoric who now see his subjects looking at him and his friends ordered:

"Kneel before your future High King now!" The crowd including the Nobility and the Japanese slaves kneeled down too in both respect and fear of his father.

"Now, Free Men of Gimael! As your future king I order you to please return to your seats back up at the podiums and leave the fighting out untill we all get outside! Then we can beat each other till our hearts desire afterwards." Rainoric ordered. The grumbling crowd obediently qent back to their seats quietly. As soon as the dust settles, Hayato could notice that he and about 3 other people were the last surviving contestants in the Exam. Then out came from a gate was Leofric. He was on horseback with his lance held on his hand and followed by a company of servants who were carrying various traps, explosives and even a large concrete wall that was just as thick as the walls of high rise buildings. Hayato gulped at the sight of such dangerous tests being shown to him.

"For your final test! A Hussarian must be brave and be willing to charge into any obstacles! I have gathered some of the most dangerous hazards from across Auriga. Poisonous thorns, mines, wooden spikes, caltrops and even this giant block that Gewis got from the Tokyo raid that you will have to smash through." Leofric said

Paruru who was busy giving some apples to Gizzur when she saw what Hayato was going to do next. Concerned, she asked Gizzur:

"How can Hayato or the Hussars do that? They would even get past the thorns."

"You underestimate Gimaelic steel my little Diamond. Keep your eyes on Leofric and your brother and you will see why the Royal Anstrutrione Calvary Guard also known as the Hussaria are the finest horsemen to ever galloped Auriga." Gizzur replied with a confident smile on his face.

"I know that this will be your first charge so stay in formation and steel your will. Now ready men! Present lances! Death! Death! Death! And..... TE HETA HADA WODA!!!" Leofric shouted as he lead a calvary charge.

As the calvary galloped behind Leo's back, Paruru, Takamina and Sakura looked on. While Hayato was given a short yet mildly encouraging words from Leofric it was Osgar's words which was given to him several days ago that made him not falter at his last trial.

(Cue Flashback)

"For your final test, Leofric will most likely place traps, and seemingly impassible obstacles at you. Do not falter when you make the charge with him and your fellow Hussars. For this is what the Anstrutrione creed was derived from 'Fearlessness in the face of terror, courage in the midst of despair and Valor where there is rout . Osgar lectured.

"When I become an Anstrutrione, I will prove to Rainoric and all of Gimael that Japanese people are not cowards."  Hayato continued to ask his mentor

"Yes, and your more admirable than the other warriors you will compete in a few days. They will fight to alleviate their status in the Nation. You fight to alleviate your entire people's honor. Do it for them, especially your sister Haruka." Osgar replied

(End Flashback)

"Forward! Ich Glaube von ganzem sella*!" Leofric shouted, his voice ringing back in forth in Hayato's helmet

"Ich Glaube von ganzem sella!!!" Hayato and the other aspiring warriors shouted.

Just as they were about hit the poisonous thorns as the 1st layer of traps setted by Leofric. The rider's bodies slowly began to glow a light yellow, the glow surrounded their bodies and Dust Horses making them ethereal like. The bright glow of Hayato and Leofric shocked the Japanese crowd but enraptured the Gimaelics in a patriotic cheer as the riders scorched through the poisonous thorns. Sakura was at the edge of her seat as she couldnt believe her eyes as the riders then smashed through the wooden stakes leaving charred remains. The horses then glided through the caltrops as if they were never there. And the last obstacle, the cement wall, was now infront of Hayato. Hayato focused his eyes and held tighter his lance as he and his Hussarian bretheren collided with the wall.

It.... was..... beautiful......

Hayato couldnt believe his eyes.  He literally smashed through the Cement wall. He looked behind him to see that the wall was no more than rubble and fire. He smiled and yelled a great "Yes!"

The crowd went into a frenzy as the now newly dubbed Hussars have now proved their Bravery. Paruru who was now given the clear by Eslek earlier that she is now no longer in the of asthma cheered! She cheered and ran towards her little brother, with Takamina, Wulfgar, Sakura, Gizzur, Osgar and Rainoric following her. Paru hugged tightly at Hayato and cried tears of joy and whispered to his ear:

"Im so proud of you."

"I did this for you Ane! You made me happy when you became an Idol." Hayato replied

"Idol?" Wulfgar asked

"Another name for singer, its what I did when I was still in earth." Paruru said

"Singer eh? Well we can use a little song when we celebrate your victory back in the Hold." Rainoric said happily

Just as Hayato was about to stand up, several Gimaelics and Japanese people grabbed Hayato and the other new Hussars and carried them. Hayato was flattered by the celebratory privilege he just received. The Gedriht followed him to the Hold. When they arrived they saw High King Gewis with some suits of Winged Hussarian Armor being held by some servants. He waved his hands signaling the crowd to drop the Hussars so that he may formerly accept them.

"Men of Gimael! For the 1st time in the North! A non-Gimaelic has been accepted to the ranks of my Anstrutriones! May I present you Hayato Shimazaki. Now I dub thee in the Gimaelic name, Baldwin Karsa, now kneel as a place your armor." Gewis said in a humbled yet still authorative voice. Hayato knelt down and stretched his arms across as Gewis and a couple of servants placed his armor on him. As his armor was being placed. He could hear the praising of his fellow countrymen behind him.

"You impress me Yamanin.  Not many people become an Anstrutrione. All I demand from you is your lance and loyalty and you will be treated well in the Gimaelic courts." Gewis whispered

"Just keep my fellow people especially my sister and her friends safe please." Hayato requested.

"I will see to that my Anstrutriones gets what they want in return for their loyalty but that request my friend is by far the cheapest I can do."

"Believe me Gewis, love to ones friends is more valuable than you think." Hayato said

"Quite cunning words from a boy who now is a man." Gewis said affirming what Hayato mentioned.

As the last straps of his armor was then fastened and Hayato was allowed to stand up. When he faced the crowd he could see his friends, his master, his mentor Osgar, Wulfgar and Gizzur were cheering him on. Then he heard his countrymen shouted:

"Supichi! Supichi! Supichi!"

Hayato stood up to a maksehift stand and faced the crowd of Gimaelics and Japanese. He gulped down and the words that he said were:

"I wanna just say to everyone who have helped me be here right now. Thank you Osgar-san, my Sister Paruru and even Wulfgar for helping me become an Anstrutrione. And also I want to thank the Japanese people, you motivated me to become a warrior, now I am proof that we Japanese can be just as brave as the Gimaelics!"

The crowd roared when he finished his speech. They shouted 'Banzai' at the top of their lungs. Then some flower petals were being thrown at him, probably flowers from the Tokyo Raid. Feeling happy and ecstatic, Hayato raised his Katana up high which made the crowd cheer louder!

CHOP!

The sound of a butcher's knife cutting roast boar was heard by Sakura as the Hold's feast wall was covered in festivities. High King Gewis was kind enough to hold a feast to celebrate his new retainers. Their was laughter, music, food, drinking and dancing in the room as a light hearted moment was experienced by the Cherry Blossom. Getting another bottle of Earth Wine for Osgar, she walked past the cheerful nobles to him. The Eadwulfs, Langobards their personal bodyguards and the Anstrutrione Hussars shared the largest table in the room. Sakura, Paruru and Takamina were invited to sit there (a sign of royal favor) due to the insistance Hayato now a new member of the Hussaria. Sakura gave the wine to Osgar who was already down to his 5 round of the fermented grape juice and then she sat down to her spot next to Rainoric who was sitting next to his father.

"So you never miss a chance to pique my curiousity Sakura. Tell me what does Bokutaci wa watak-- Blah Blah is?" Rainoric initiated a conversation with Sakura while drinking some Dust Water.

"Well in Aurigan it means 'Wir Kampfen nicht' or 'We wont fight'. Its a song about peace." Sakura replied

"Peace! Such a lofty word in Gimael. We will never no what peace feels until the day we will no longer have to wake up from our beds and think 'Will I eat anything today?'."  Gewis interrupted

"Well back in Earth war is very constant in our planet. Their is a threat of North Korea, a country near us of invading the south. The ISIS in the Middle East. Terrorist attacks in pretty much anywhere in Earth." Sakura said melancholicly

"Well sounds like we may actually find a challenge back in Earth after all! Next time, we give'em a visit. Dont want to have anyone sacking places other than US!" Gewis said pridefully

"Yeah! And next time im coming with you! Now Sakura tell me more of Earth especially Japan." Rainoric said

"Well, Spring time is a very special time in Japan. Cherry Blossoms or Sakuras which I am named after, bloom for a couple of weeks and the Coldness of winter is replaced by the Warmth of spring. Its like snow falling minus the ice. And... and....uhm..... we would sing songs about it!"

"Songs? Really? No any?" Rainoric asked.

"Well I know one! Takamina, Paruru, Sakura No Hirabatachi? Lets sing it?" Sakura stood up.

Takamina was busy eating some roast boar with Ulrich and Paruru was chatting with the other Anstrutriones with Hayato. They stood up and followed Sakura up to a stage. Takamina quickly got a guitar from one of the bards and told the people in the feasting hall to have their eyes set on them. Then Sakura and Paru lips opened while Takamina strummed the guitar at their rythm.

Their music echoed the feasting halls delighting the Nobles and guests. The crowd roared in delight as Sakura and Paru finished the song. Hayato got praise from the Hussars for his sister's singing.

"Your sister and her friends are really good bards Baldwin." said Leofric

"Arigatou Leofric, but call me Hayato please." Hayato replied

Sakura, Paruru and Takamina went down from their stage and were given claps and praises from everyone in the room as they made their way back to Rainoric's table.
"So my new slaves can sing! I still got my pillaging skil up to date." Gewis said

"Sakura you sang yourself? Tree Flower girl sang!"  Ulrich muttered crudely

"Now I drink to that!" Osgar yelled chugging down another round of wine

"Paru, your quite the Gasu*. I do sing that when we are on the road soon." Wulfgar commented

"Sakura? You are wonder I tell you! I think im planning to not kill you! Ha! Fooled ya! I dont kill pretty ladies and girls with claws." Gizzur said winking at Paru much to her surprise.

Then Sakura looked to Rainoric and she could feel that he was stunned by her performance.

"Sakura.... That was... hoow do you humans say it? Aaa.....mm.....Amazing! That was great! I love it!" Rainoric said.

"Thank you Rainoric. It was a pleasure to be allowed to sing for you and everyone." Sakura replied with a smile.

The Gedriht quickly went back to dinner with Sakura, Paru and Takamina now being the center of attention. Sakura was bombarded with questions from the Nobles and Retainers of Gimael about her planet and Japan. Sakura replied to the questions as honestly as she should and was given praises from the Nobles for her ladylike demeanor. After about a while of asking questions, Gewis called attention of everyone in the Hall by banging the table with a Seax.

"Friends, fellow Chiefs and other Nobles! Today is a historic moment in Gimael today. Our new reforms  from our economy and military has been showing promising results! Lower taxes and accounting techniques have surprisingly gave us more money to spend for our pursuits in the Civil matters. We can now build a second wall with all the money we have right now. Next our reforms in the Military part has shown promise. More Gimaelics are taking in active duty as warriors and we are also developing probably our 1st ever firearm thanks to the new scientist that we....."  Gewis said to the crowd. Rainoric didnt listened much to his father as he is more interested in fighting than in governing. He indulged his mind on Sakura as Gewis continued the achievements of the reforms he had made after being exposed to the Earthling ideals of politics.

Sakura noticed despite Rainoric being a Broken Lord who couldnt show his emotions visibly knew he wasnt listening. She leaned over the barbarian prince and whispered:

"Your father is doing a good job as a king. You will be a king one day Rainori-kun. Please listen to him."

"I am a fighter not a philosopher." Rainoric replied softly.

"But a King needs to learn how to rule his people after he returns from battle isnt it? I remembered reading a book from my school in Japan of a quote that their was a king who had many conquests but speaks none of its benefits. He was soon forgotten from the history books. It means that with great conquests and ambitions without contribution is without significance (Emperor's Club reference)" Sakura said while holding the hand of Rainoric who had felt uneasy as she said those words. She then stared into the eyeless pits of his helmet and giving a slight smile with sincerity and honesty that shook Rainoric's very soul. He pulled his arm off of Sakura's grip and replied reluctantly:

"Fine." and began to listen to his father's speech.

"And with these new Military reforms, I Gewis Eadwulf of the Salian tribe and we the Freemen of Gimael will become the most ferocious army in all of Auriga and the universe." Gewis finished his state of the kingdom address by raising his arms in victory. The Nobles and Gewis' new Earthling advisors stood up and applauded him.

"Now that the present matters have been dealt with, our Kingdom's future shall be address. Rainoric, please stand in front of your father." Said a Noble.

Rainoric stood up and came in front of his father and knelt. Then his father held his face and muttered some words in Aurigan that Sakura havent learnt the meaning yet of. Then a priestly like Broken Lord walked inside with a cup bearing a strange white liquid inside it. Rainoric grabbed the cup from the priest and drank it down in one gulp. Then the Nobles, Retainers and Gedriht stood up and began to chant and cheer for him. Rainoric then yelled a great roar that echoed the entire citadel of Guaita.

"Er wird jetzt ein Kriegerkönig, He is becoming a warrior-king." Said Wulfgar to Sakura

"What do you mean? A warrior-king?" Asked Sakura

"Gewis will soon pass from this world Earthling. It is a myth that we Broken Lords live forever, we grow, we learn, we could get hurt, we heal and we shrivel up and go back to the Dust in hence we came." replied Wulfgar.

"Rainoric will take his father's place soon and High King Gewis refuses to Die untill he knows that his Kingdom that he had fought so hard to protect will be in good hands." Osgar added

"Well it looks like their are still some things for him to learn." said Takamina.

"How will Gewis know that Rainori-san is ready to become King?" asked Hayato

"He needs to prove that Gimaelics can rely on him as a leader both as a warrior and as a ruler." Wulfgar answered.

"He would have to prove it by doing some feats of bravery such as killing the Geldrius 2 weeks ago to prove he can slay the mightiest of beasts." Osgar added again.

"So what will Rainoric do next?" Paruru asked

"What WE will be doing next you mean. You girls and our new Hussarian will be accompanying him to Vanoran where we will kill another beast. Dubbed the 'Sea King' by Aurigans which is a giant fish hence the name and we are gonna fish it!" Osgar replied

Sakura couldnt believe what she is seeing right now, Rainoric? The son of the man who went to Japan to sack and plunder her country leaving it in flames. The same son who nearly butchered a beggar for stealing a loaf of bread and fights over petty scraps will become king? The thought of him ruling Gimael and possibly going to Japan to get booty out of disgusted Sakura. That thought would entangle her mind as she slept in bed for tommorow.

Sakura walked down the nightmarish landscape. Famous Tokyo landmarks such as Tokyo Tower, the Emperor's Palace and Buddhist Temples were being torn down by Gimaelics like Lumberjacks chopping wood from trees. The Barbarians left no stone unturned as they ransacked the city. Sakura could see the them break every commandment on heaven and on Earth as they put a city to the torch. Sakura began to ran slowly through the maze of fire,steel and screams. She could hear the screams of children, the crying of women and anguish pains of men ring through her small ears making her stomach turn. She continued to run as she passed by the familiar districts of Tokyo, Ginza, Asakusa, Odaiba and Shinbashi untill she stumbled upon a very familiar building.

It was the AKB48 Cafe and Shop building that she and her friends last saw of Earth before being taken away to Gimael. At the square in front of the store she could see Wulfgar, Ulrich and Osgar fighting JSDF and Tokyo Metropolitan Policemen. Wulfgar with his 5 foot long axe cleave 3 men in one swing chopping their heads and body parts cleanly. Ulrich was strangle holding a policeman and swiftly snapped his neck like a cracker. Osgar was Impaling his spear down the throat of a JSDF soldier coughing blood soon afterwards. Then their was Rainoric, who was standing at the middle of the square staring down to the cowering bodies of some civilians with his sword Ulfberht unsheathe and ready to kill. As Sakura walked closer she could see it was none other than Rena Matsui, Miyuki Watanabe and Yuki Kashiwagi were staring death incarnate in their face.

Sakura couldnt allow herself to see her friends be butchered like animals by him so she ran to Rainoric. Just as the barbarian prince was about to cut Miyuki's head off, Sakura held the armored arm of Rainoric's sword hand.

"Please dont kill my friends!" she said

"I KILL WHOMEVER DOESNT KNEEL TO ME!!!" Rainoric shouted in demonic voice

"If you have to kill them then you have to kill me first!" Sakura said, she stepped in the way between her AKB sisters and Rainoric with her hands spread out ready to take a sword for her friends.

"THEN DIE LIKE THE SLAVE YOU ARE!!!" Rainoric yelled menacingly raising Ulfberht up into the sky. Sakura close her eyes as she awaited her death. But suddenly she felt mystical feeling within her. She opened her eyes and saw that she was glowing pure white. Rainoric stepped back from the shining light of Sakura blocking his face from her.

Sakura's white glow grew brighter causing a great burst of white light to shroud the entire city of Tokyo. When the light dissipated Sakura could see that Spring arrived at Akihabara. The Cherry Trees blossomed giving a ray of hope to the city as it seemed to have been never been attacked by Gimael. Rainoric who was standing up from the shock of White Light, stared at Sakura at awe. He approached Sakura, knelt down and whispered to her ear.

"Mutter*"

Sakura quickly rose up in bed in shock. Sweat falling down on her face and breathing heavily, she looked on to see that it was still night time and everyone in the servants quarter was still sleeping. Still wide awake from her nightmare she quietly said to Takamina:

"Takamina senpai, I had a nightmare." But she didnt get a response from her.

Sakura meditated her mind to not let her dream hinder her sleep for tommorow she will go on to a Journey of a lifetime.
