The Kingdom of Bangtan or simply Bangtan, is an independent city state running it's on monarchy for over 105 years now. Located in the middle of the warring North and South Korea. It is as big as Singapore with an area of 716.1 square kilometers.The city-state was established right after King Sujeong, The last King of the Korean Monarchy was abolished in 1910. The new parliementary government gave the late king his own land and exile him there away from his real roots, in the middle of Korea. 

Sujeong and his court worked hard to develop the new state for all it's citizens who choose to follow him and believed in the Monarchy. The King developed a new system of government he thinks is the most ideal kind,The Caste System. It was a mixture of different ideologies regarding sociology, politics and economy. It wasn't Communism and it wasn't neccessarily democratic either. The Caste System aims to put order into their new city state based on how the citizens contribute to the state. From the 1st caste to the 8th caste, you work your way to the top based on your abilities and commitment. The king aimed for the citizens to be disciplined and not wait and depend on other people. Only will one truly become strong, and almost bulletproof. That's why the country is named Bangtan. 

Bangtan is not really closed off, but it chooses it's allies. It also prefers to anything outside the country as "old" that's why they even prefer English as an "old language". The current location of Bangtan make them always prone to attacks, specially when the North and South continues to be at war with each other, The North also thinks that Bangtan is affiliated with the South, That's why the north became the haven for rebels agaisnt the Kingdom.
