Jessica's Pov

"Was that you when you first scream at this??" Yul asked as she nodded

"Y-yes. I was just coming here to have dinner with that man that just got killed. His name was Taeyang. We used to be in the same guild, but we got separated in the plaza." She said as tears starts to roll down her cheeks.

"I looked around to find him and that's where I saw him hanging there from the church's window." She said as she starts to cry while I was rubbing her back

"Did anyone else see??" I asked as she shook her head

"But for a second, I think I saw someone behind Taeyang." She said

"Did that person look familiar to you??" I asked

"No." She said as she shook her head

"I don't want to say this but, do you know anyone that wanted to kill Taeyang??" Yul asked as she shook her head

After the incident, we walked Dara to the motel and told her we'll talking more of the incident tomorrow. Me and Yul walked around town as we review about the incident we learn

"If we learn where that spear came from,it might lead us to the perpetrator." I said

"Then we'll need someone with an appraisal skill. You don't have one obviously." She said

"Of course. Nor do you... Also, can you address me so curtly?" I asked

"Uh.. Well.. Maybe.. 'Miss' then?" She asked as I looked at her

"Or 'Vice Commander-sama'?"

"Lightning Flash-sama?"

I sighed as I looked away and said

"Just call me Jessica."

"O-ok. Anyways do you have any friends with a appraisal skill?"

"A weapon merchant friend has it .. But this is their busiest time, so it may take a while." I said

"I see. Then let's ask an item merchant that I know." She said as I nodded

We went to the 50th floor name the Arcade. We walked into the ally as it was somewhat busy.

"Thank you! Come again!" I heard someone say in the store

"Seems you're just as greedy as ever." Yul said as she walked in

"Hey Yul. You gotta buy cheap and sell cheap. That's my motto." He said

"I don't know about that second part." She said as they fist pump

"Don't go slandering my good name." Chan said as I walked in

He was shocked to see me and he pulled Yul to the counter and talked

Yuri's Pov

"H-hey! What is Jessica, the Vice Commander doing here?" Chan asked

"You're a solo player, what are you doing here with Jessica? Didnt you two not get along before? When? How? Tell me!!" He said as I struggled my way out of his hold

"I'll tell you later. For now, we need your help." I said

"So... Someone's HP went down to within a safe zone.. And it wasnt a duel?" He asked

"No one saw any winner message." I said

"If he was walking with Dara-ssi right before, then its not a sleeping-PK." Jessica said

"The method has to be involved for some random duel. We can assume it was a premeditated PK and so, we come to this." I said as I looked at the sword.

Chan picked the sword up and slide his finger to the menu as he clicked on the info button.

"This sword is a person-made person." He said

"Really?" I asked

"Who made it?" Jessica asked

"Big 2NE1.. Never heard of them. Not any top rakned bladesmiths. I can tell you that. And plus there's nothing particular unusual about this weapon."Chan said

"But this could be a clue." Jessica said as I nodded

"Tell us its item's name too."

"Let's see... It's CL-ssi is its name." He said as he gave the sword to me

"CL-ssi....." I said as I analyzed it.

"Okay.." I said as I was about to stab it with my hand

"Wait!" Jessica said as she stopped me.

"What?" I asked

"What do you think? Are you stupid od what? This sword already killed someone!" She said

"But we wont be sure unless we try." I said

"Thats crazy! Why are you calm about this? Dont do it! Chan-ssi can hold onto this." She said as she took the sword and gave it to Chan.

"Oh.... Ok."

It's was morning as Jessica, Dara-ssi and i was at the same restaurant where Jessica and I was at last night."

"Hey Dara-ssi. Have you ever heard of the name CL-ssi?" Jessica asked as she was shocked

"Yes. He was a member of the guild that Taeyang and I was once in." She said as Jessica and I looked at each other.

"When we had the spear stuck in Taeyang's chest appraised. We found out that it was made by CL-ssi."I said as she was surprised and covered .

"Can you think of any reason why that would be?" I asked

"Yes.. I can. Im sorry I wasnt able to tell you yesterday, I wanted to forget about it. Its something I dont really want to remember, but I'll tell you. What destoryed our guild.. Our guild was called Big 2NE1. 7 months ago, we defeated a rare monster dropped a powerful ring that raised agility to 20. We were divided on whether to use it for the guild, or sell and split the earnings. But in the end, we put it by a vote, the vote was 6-3 in favor of selling it. Our great leader, G-Dragon-ssi was going to stay overnight at the large town on the front lines to give it to a broker, but he never came back. Later, we learned that he died. I still dont know why." Dara-ssi said

"No one would leave a safe zone with that kind of rare item, which mean a sleeping-PK." I said

"7 months ago would have been just before the method really spread." She said

"But it's hard to think its a coincidence. Whoever attack him must have been a player who knew about the ring. In other words..."

"One of the other 8 members of Big 2NE1." She said

"The most suspicious ones would be those who opposed to sell it." I said

"You mean they attacked G-Dragon-ssi to get the ring before it was sold?" Jessica asked

"Probably. Who is CL-ssi."

"She was G-Dragon's wife. Just within the game, naturally. CL was a powerful swordsman. Pretty and smart. CL was a kind lady who is always smiling. They made a great couple and they get along very well. If she was the one responsible for yesterday's murder, she may be after the three who opposed selling the ring. Two of the three are myself and Taeyang." She said as Jessica and I were surprised

"Then who's the other?" I asked

"A tank name Seungri-ssi. I heard he's on the front lines right now with the Holy Scales Alliance." She said

"Seungri-ssi? I heard that name before." I said

"He leads the Holy Scales Alliance's defense forces. He's a big lance-user." Jessica said as I nod

"Oh him.."

"You know Seungri-ssi?" Dara-ssi asked

"I've only seen him a few times while clearing the boss floors." I said

"Could you let me talk to him? He probably hasn't heard about what occurred and what happened to Taeyang-ssi could happen to him." She said

"Lets go call Seungri-ssi. I know someone at the Holy Scales Alliance. If we go to their HQ, we can perhaps we can talk to him." Jessica said

"Then first, we should get Dara-ssi to an Inn. Dara-ssi, dont leave the Inn until we return." I said as she nodded

We went to the Holy Scales Alliance as we went get Seungri-ssi.

"How do you think the murder carried out to?" Jessica asked

"Well, I see 3 basic possibilities, first a fair duel. Second is through an exploit that combines known methods." I said

"Yea.. I can see that and the third?" She asked

"Some skills we dont know about which bypasses safe zones or possibly an item.. No the third is impossible..."

"Why?" Jessica asked

"Because its unfair.. I kinda hate to admit, but SAO's rules are essentially fair. I cant imagine this game allowing murders in a safe zones." I said

We were in a Inn as Seungri-ssi was sitting in front of Dara-ssi while Jessica and I were on the side as they talk to each other

"Is it true that Taeyang was killed by CL's weapons?" Seungri-ssi asked

"It is." Dara-ssi said as he stood up and was angry

"Why would Taeyang be killed after all this time!? Did he steal the ring? Was he was one who killed G-Dragon?" He asked as he sat down

"Does G-Dragon plan to kill the three of us, who opposed to sell that ring? Is he after you and me too?!" He asked

"It could be another member, and CL just made them the spear or perhaps. This may be G-Dragon's revenge." Dara-ssi said

"What?"

"Only a ghost could kill someone inside a safe zone." Dara-ssi said as Seungri was speechless while Jessica and I looked at each other

"I stayed awake all last night thinking, in the end, all of us were the ones who killed him! When tat ring dropped we shouldn't have ever voted! We should've just done what she wanted!!" She said as she freaked out and walked backwards to the window

"CL was the only one who said we should simply let G-Dragon to decide, so he has the right to take revenge for CL on the rest of us." She said as Seungri-ssi was shaking up

"You're kidding me. After all this time, 7 whole months... why now? And you're okay with this, Dara-ssi? You're okay begin killed like this?" He said as he stood up and was about to go towards her, but I stopped him

The I heard something got stab. I looked at Dara-ssi as she turned around and showed a dagger on her back. We were all shocked as she went out the window and fall towards the bottom as I ran towards her, but stopped at the window

"Dara-ssi!!" I shouted as she turn into crystal as the dagger was on the floor..

I looked above the town roof's as I saw someone in black coat saw me and started to run

"Jessica, I'll leave the rest to you!" I said as I jumped out the window and ran after that black coat person

"Dont!" She shouted as I ignored her

As I was chasing him, he glanced at me as I was about to draw sword, but he took out a blue crystal portal

"!" I said as I quickly threw needles to him, but missed since he put up a shield

This he was goignt to teleport

But where!!?? I said in my mind as the bells ring and he disappeared

"Crap." I said as I stopped running as the bells were still ringing

I opened the door as I was holding the dagger while Jessica said

"You stupid! Are you out of your mind?!" She said as she put her sword away

"So.. how did it go?" She asked as I closed the door

"No luck. he teleported away. The inn is protected by the system. I thought we'd be safe in here. ." I said as I punched the wall

"That person in the robe was G-Dragon." Seungri-ssi said as we looked at him

"It was G-Dragon's ghost! She's back to take revenge on all of us!! A ghost could easily PK within safe zones." He said as he was laughing like a crazy manic.

"It was no ghost." I said

"There much be some logical explanation to these two murders within safe zones. There has to be." I added

We were in town as as we sat a bench as we looked over the clues that we have

"Was that black robed player is really G-Dragon's ghost? Now that I've seen it twice myself, Im starting to believe it too." Jessica said

"No.. Its not possible. First of all.. a ghost wouldn't be able to use teleport crystal......... Teleport crystal?" I asked

"What is it?" Jessica asked

"No.. Its nothing." I said as it turned quiet between us.

"Here." She said breaking the silence.

"What?" I said as I saw a pink wrap on her hand

"Its this for me?" I asked

"What do you think? You think Im going to give it to someone else nor just to show it to you?" She asked

"Oh... uh... Thank you." I said as I took it and opened it and there was a sandwich.

"It's about to expire and vanish, so hurry up and eat it." She said

"Ah... Ok.." I said as I took a bite out of it

"It's delicious." I said as I took another bite

"When did you get the food??" I asked

"I did say it was about to expire. I was prepared for a situation like this, so I packed them this morning." She said as I kept on eating

"Nothing less from the leader of Knights of the blood Oath assault team. So where did you buy this from??" I asked

"It's not for sale." She said

"What?? "

"You can't buy this.. I can cook, you know."  She said

"Ah... Uh.. How can I put this... If you put this in an auction, you can get rich easily." I said laughing nervously as she stomp her feet which made me drop the half eaten sandwich as it turn into crystal

"Ah...."

"I don't have anymore." She said as I fell onto my knees

"What's wrong??" She asked

"Shh!" I said

"Wow!! I see!! I get it!!" I said

"What? What did you realize??" She asked

"I.. We actually didn't see anything.. We thought we saw it, but we were actually looking at something else. There couldn't be any weapons of logic that could make murders possible in the safe zones." I said

Seungri's Pov

We went through the a portal as we went to floor 19, the Hill of the Cross. It was dark and foggy as I was in front of a tree.

"G-Dragon.. No one is can help me anymore, so I'm here to beg for your forgiveness.. I'm sorry! I'm really sorry! Please forgive me, G-Dragon! I didn't think that it'll come to this" I said as I bowed in front of G-Dragon's grave

"Really?" A voice said as he was shocked

"Really? Really? Really?"

I then thought something was behind me and looked which it was a rabbit. I sighed as I turned around saw a black robes player

"What did you do? What did you do to me, Seungri?" The black robed player said as it took out the spear from before

"I... On the day we made the deal for the ring, the crystal and the memo were in my belt pouch which the orders--"

"Whose orders, Seungri??" Whose orders??" another voice said as he looked up

"CL.. You've died too??" I  asked

"Who was it that gave you your orders??"

"I-I don't know! I -I really don't! The memo ordered me to sneak into G-Dragon's room.. Save the position of the corridor crystal and then it put in the guild bank."

"Really??"

"That's all I did!! I would never murder anyone! Please believe me!" I said as the fog was going away

"We've recorded everything, Seungri." A familiar voice said as I looked up and saw Dara and Taeyang.

Jessica's Pov

"They're alive!?" I asked

"Yea.. They're alive. Dara-ssi and Taeyang-ssi too."

"But..."

"Within the safe zones, players HP bars cannot go lower than normal circumstances, or on the other have , objects expire, like the sandwich... Back when Taeyang's armor was pierced by the spear, but it didn't go lower, Taeyany's HP. Only the armor's durability." Yul said

"So that was what fell down in pieces??" I asked

"Yea... An empty armor. And by the timing it for the moment the armor broke, Taeyang teleported away. In results, it seemed like he had died, but it was completely different." Yul said

"That same thing happened to Dara-ssi?" I asked

"She must've had the dagger in her back the entire time we was talking to us." She said

"The entire time??" I asked

"Think about it. She never once stood with her back turn to us in that room. She continue talking while confirming the decreasing of the durability. When it was time, she acted like a dagger came from outside had hit her." she said

"Then the black robed figure was..."

"I am willing to bet that was CL-ssi. Taeyang-ssi and Dara-ssi realized they could fake their death with this method. They even made it seem safe zone PKs are possible to arouse even more fear."

"So their goal was to find and expose the culprit of the ring case. They faked their death and created two phantom avengers." I said

"They probably doubt Seungri from the very beginning... Hey.. do you still have Dara-ssi on you friend list, right?" She asked

"Yea." I said as she went to her friend list and found out where Dara-ssi was at

"Right now, she is on the 19th floor. On a small hill close to the town." I added

"I see. Anyways. lets leave this to them for now... Our part of the case is over." She said as I nodded

Seungri's Pov

"You recorded it?" I asked as I saw a recording diamond.

"I see.. So you cared for G-Dragon this much." I said

"Of course! Believe me. I only passed the entrance requirements for the Holy Scales Alliance, die to the rare weapon I bought from the money I got-"

I then was on the floor as I was paralyzed from a dagger as I looked up and saw a person

"One down!" He said

"Could they be?!" I asked myself

"This guy's a nicely sized prey, the leader of the Holy Scales Alliance, if Im not mistaken." A another voice said

"The PK Guild, XING!" I said as they were holding up their weapons at us

"How should we make this so much fun?" The leader said

"Do it! Lets do that, White! The game where they must fight to their deaths and whoever survives will get a chance!" This first guy said

"If I recalled correctly, the last time we layed this, you killed the survivor." White said

"Ahh!! You shouldnt spoil the fun, White." He said

"Now then, should we get this done?" He asked as I was shocked

He walked closer to me as he raise his weapon in the air as he stopped and heard something

"Neighhh!!" The horse said as Yul fell off.

"Looks like I made just in time." She said as she hit the horse as it ran away and walked closer to us

"So what are you gonna do now? Our reinforcements will be here soon. Would you like to face 30 people of the assault team?" Yul asked as she drew her sword

Then it became quiet as he snap his fingers and the guy he was pointing his sword at Dara and Taeyang put his sword away.

"Lets go." White said as they walked away

"Glad to see you Dara-ssi." She said

"I just wanted a proper apologize to you once it was all over, but I guess you wont believe me even if I apologize, right?" She asked

"Yul! Thank you or saving us! But how did you know? That those tree would ambush us here." I asked

"I didnt. I concluded that it could be a possibility. Hey Taeyang-ssi and Dara-ssi, the two weapons you've got were made by CL-ssi?" She asked

"Well, she wasn't willing at first, she wanted to let G-Dragon rest in peace." Dara said

"But as we kept on begging her, she finally gave in our request." Taeyang said

"Im sorry to tell you, but she didnt oppose to your plan of G-Dragon's sake." yul said as they were shocked

"If you were to fake insane incidents like murders in the safe zones, you'll draw way too much attention and eventually people would finally realized it.. I only realized it in 30 minutes ago."

~~Flashback~~

Yuri's Pov

"I ended up playing a part og Dara-ss-'s place, but I dont mind at all." I said

"Yea." Jessica said

"Say..." She said as i looked at her

"If it wasnt you, what would you do if you get a legendary drop?" Jessica asked

"I see... Well, I hate it when things happened like this when Im a solo player."

"In our guild, the item belongs to the person who received it... Thats our rule. In SAO, it is up to the player to announce what he or she will received after a battle. Its better to set up rules than to make up lies and secrets. And because of this system that marriage in this world means something. If you are married, then your item storage will be shared with your lover. Even if you tried to hide something before and after married, you cant hide anything anymore. Storage sharing is a really pragmatic system, but I think its really romantic as well." She said with a smile

"Say..."

"What is it?" She asked

"Have you ever gotten married before?" I asked as she grab the fork and pointed it at me

"Wait! wait! wait! Dont get the wrog idea!! You said it was romantic and plastic." I said as I put up my hands

"I did not say that!" Jessica said as she kicked me

"Ow." I said as she put down the fork

"I said it was romantic and pragmatic! Pragmatic means its practical and realistic!" She said

"Realistic? Marriage in SAO?" I asked

"Yes. Its really a blunt and straightforward. Just start imaging sharing your storage." She said as I was thinking deep

"What is it now?" She asked

"Storage sharing.. What happens to the item if your lover dies?" I asked

"What?"

"Your storage is being shared, right? What happens if one person dies?" I asked

"You mean CL-ssi and G-Dragon-ssi? Thats right... if one of them died, wont all the items goes to the other person?" I asked

"Which means the rare ring is in G-Dragon's storage.."

"It should be with CL-ssi, and not the murder." I said

"So..The ring wasnt stolen?" She asked

"No, it was stolen. CL-ssi stole the ring from her own storage." I said as Jessica was shocked
