Yuri's Pov

I was about to go as Jessica stopped me
"Yul, your such an idiot." She said
"Why, thank you." I said
"Seriously, you dont have to do this. You could've no accept this duel."
"I said dont worry about it." I said as I walked 
"Are you doing this for me?" She asked as I stopped
"If you want to put it that way, sure." I said as I walked away
"You dummy." I heard her say as she fell to the ground and started to cry.
I came out as the sun shine in my eyes as everyone cheered. I looked back as she was still crying
This is for you Jessica. I thought as I went towards Hyunseok.
"I didnt know this much of people would come and see us duel." He said
"Its fine." I said
"Well, we'll settle this until one of our HP goes yellow." He said as he went to his menu and clicked on the duel button
"Works for me." I said as I pressed the accept duel button
The time was counting down as it was about to start. As soon as the duel started, I charged at him and attack with both of my swords as he was blocking then with his shield. I then use my combo move on him as hit sheild got knocked off
Now is my chance to get him!! I need to be quick!
I swing my sword to his stomach as the time stopped.
What! How is this happening? I thought 
I then saw him move his shield to block. As time came back on. my sword hit his shield which almost made me trip, but he had an opening and hit me. Everyone cheered as he won. I looked at him as he took a look at me and then walked away.
How the heck did that happened? I thought as I was sitting on the ground

I went to the 50th floor and was sitting on the bed as I was wearing new clothes from the KBO.
"Why do I have to wear this? I dont like it." I whined
"You have to wear it since you are now a KBO member. It looks good on you." Jessica said as I was annoyed and lied on the bed
"Why do I have to join a guild for? Solo is my thing." I muttered
"Im not trying to be nosy or anything, but why are you avoiding being in a guild?" She asked
"I mean its fine cause im already reaching my limits of being a solo player, but-" 
"Yul... Just answer my question. Why are you avoiding guilds?" She asked again
"There's a small guild with 5 people, they were comfortable with each other and I watch them from aside. They were happy together as I join in since I help them on this one floor. I then join their guild as we train together. Until one day, we were in a dungeon and got stuck cause we couldnt use the teleport crystals and they all died because of me while the leader was buying them a house. After I came back, I talked to the leader and told them they all died in the dungeon and told him I was a beater. He was angry at me and suicide himself by jumping off the floating islands. on floor 48 I think... I killed them because I was a beater and didnt tell them how dangerous that dungeon was." I said as my voice cracked at the end and tears formed
I heard Jessica got up from her seat as I thought she was going to leave me in the room, but she didnt.. Instead she hugged me
"I'll protect you because I'll be by your side until we clear all these floors." She said as my tears rolled down my cheeks

We went back to the 55th floor as we were in a room with Wonbin.
"Training? I dont need any training." I said
"You have to. Hyunseok said you will party with me and one more." He said
"Ugh... Fine.. Only one training and thats it." I said as he nodded
"Meet me at the entrance, I'll get the food and the other person that will be joining with us." He said as I nodded as he left the room
"Ugh... training!! WHY!!" I said 
"Well, its part of being a KBO, since you just join today.." Jessica said
"But still!!" I said
"You'll do fine." She said as she left the room as I went to the entrance of the KBO HQ
As I was leaning on the entrace wall, Wonbin came with another person
"So this is Yul, the black swordsman. Nice to meet you. Im Jiwon. I hear so much about you on the news and stuff." Jiwon said
"Nice to meet you too." I said as we shook hands'
"Now that we both have met, I need to take your crystals." She said
"All of them?" I asked as she nodded
I grab all my crystals and gave it to her as Wonbin did the same thing.
"Alrighty.. Lets start training." He said as we walked into the dungeon of floor 55.
"Lets stop here, since I dont see no enemies here." She said as we sat down in different places with huge gaps between us. 
Wonbin threw us of snacks as we were eating, 
Jiwon ate the snack as I drank the water. I looked at Wonbin as he smirked. I then knew something was up, so I threw the water to the ground as I looked at my HP..
paralyzed and poison... .. my HP
"What the heck-" Jiwon said as Wonbin laugh like a maniac.
"Oh.. Did you see your HP?" He asked as we stood silent
"Hahahaha.. I knew that if I did this training.. I would have pvp you alone, Yul, but no.. We had to bring someone along.. Well, since it's just us.. No hard feelings Jiwon." He said as he stab his sword into her stomach. 
"Ahhhh." She shouted as he kept on stabbing and stabbing her until she turned into crystals
I was shocked, scared and had tears in my eyes as she disappeared. 
"Your next Yul." He said as he was walking towards me

Jessica's Pov

I was in a meeting with all the HQ Leaders and I opened up a map where it tells me where Yul is.. But when I saw something disappear.. Something must have happened.
"Jessica? Jessica?" I heard one of the leaders asked
"Huh? Yes??" I said
"Is something wrong??" She asked
"Um.. Is it ok if I am excused??" I asked as they looked at each other
"Sure.. I'll tell you about the meeting later then." Hyunseok said as I nodded
Please let me be there in time

Yuri's Pov

"I waited for so so so long for this day to come.. I will be the one to kill the most famous black swordsman and I'll be on the news-"
"Yea.. But the news will call you a murder." I said
"True but they will here a story of how our adventure training will be us fighting a boss and you died because of the boss special attack.."  He said as he was laughing 
"No way.. They will never believe it!" I said as he nodded
"Oh they will. Hahaha. Time to make you die very slowly." He said as he took his sword and stabbed it on my leg.
"Ahhhh!! Stop!!!" I screamed
"My oh my.. Watching you slowly die is more amazing than you being killed by a boss." He said as he was looking at me HP 
"If you wanted a fair fight, we could have duel to death then." I said as he shook his head
"No.. This is much better than dueling." He said as he took his sword and pushed it in all the way as I saw the PK Guild sign on his arm
 Im not going to die like this am I?
I looked at my HP as it was going red as I was going to die right here and now.
Irene.. Everything I have done is gone.. I can't save everyone that you wanted me to.. I'm sorry. 
I thought as I had a tear in my eyes
"Ahhh!" He said
I slowly opened my eyes as I saw Jessica.. She healed me and went back and fight Wonbin.
"Jessica.. It's not what it looks. I was about the heal her." He said as she ignored him.
I slowly got up as she was getting all the attacks on him, but he then took his sword and took Jessica's sword off her hand
"DIE!!" He said as he got annoying and was about to kill her, but I pulled her back and he took off my whole left arm.
"Wha-" he said as I looked up at him
"You're done." I said as I took my sword and killed him as he then turned into crystals.
I fell on the floor as Jessica caught me and had tears in her eyes.
"Why are you crying?" I asked as I heard her sobs
"Because... I should've came with you."
"Well, I'm alive now thanks to you, so there's no need to cry." I said
"But I was suppose to be with you to protect you." She said as her head was on my shoulder
"I'm okay now.. And you were the one to save me, so thanks." I said as she lift up her head and looks at me
"Yul?"
"Hm?"
"Do you think that... We should.... Date..?" She asked as I was speechless
"I mean.. We've been together since we battle the gleam boss... So.." She said as I smiled
"Sure.. Jessica.. Will you be my girlfriend??" I asked as she smiled 
"Yes." She said as she hugged
"Come on.. Let's go back HQ." I said as she nodded
We teleported to HQ as everyone was surprised that I was the only one alive. Some took me to the clinic in the HQ as some of the leaders were questioning me for the absents of Wonbin and Jiwon. I told then the whole story as they listened to my reasons.
"I could've save her sirs, but I wasn't there to save her because we both were paralyzed and poison and she was the first to die by Wonbin's sword. I guess he was like jealous of how I'm popular and he wasnt. Also he was part of the PK guild.. I saw their symbol on his arm." I said as he nodded
"Ok.. That will be enough for today. Take a good rest Yul." One of the leaders said as I nodded as they then left the room.
Jessica came as she sat on a chair that was by the bed
"So.. Where should we go?" She asked as I shrug
"I don't know, but there is a place that they are selling and it's about 4,500 coins." [in the game money] 
"We can split half." She said as I nodded
"True but then one of us will eventually pay the rent, just say, cause one of us will have lots of money, but whatever, we'll figure it out." I said as she nod and lean her head on my legs
"Heard you will be out of here by tomorrow morning??" She asked as I nodded
"I can't take breaks when there's murders coming to us or at other people, so we would have to be on guard for that." I said as she nod
"We'll be ready for them." She said

I got out of the clinic at the HQ. Me and Jessica teleport to floor 44 as we look at the houses. One house was by the lake and forest, the other was by a plain and a forest.. So we took the house with the plain and the forest because she likes the flowers that as blooming on the plain. We were in front of the house as it was a small house that is comfortable for us to live.
"Ready??" I asked as she nodded
We both touch the sign which then gave us a key that was slowly coming out of the sign and Jessica grabbed the key.. She looked at me as i nodded and smile. She smiled back at me as she opened the door. The inside looked nice as there was a fire place where we could get warm when winter comes. The living room was small and nice. The kitchen looked nice. We walked up stairs as it had two bed rooms with one bath room. 
"This house is so amazing, even bigger than my house." She said as I nodded
I went on the balcony as she follow me. She hugged me from behind as I turned around and went to hugged her behind, so she now in front of me as we looked at the sky as it was setting.
"It's pretty." She said as I nodded
"Today is our beginning of our new life together." I said as she smiled
