The Chemistry teacher briefed the class about a project that has to be done in pairs. He already had the arrangement of the pairs on a piece of paper and he began calling out names. "Park Min Young, Do Kyung Soo." This was the last pair which left the class in chaos. Many of them were grumbling at the fact that they weren't paired with the smartass while the others were sulking because they weren't paired with the school belle.

  "Please go to your pairs to start on the project." The teacher cleared his throat and instructed.    I waited at my desk for that Do Kyung Soo to approach me since I was a new student, but he didn't. I surveyed the classroom to find the same person, the one who was in his world, alone. Knowing that he probably wouldn't have bothered finding me, I took the initiative and walked over to the back of the classroom.    "Do Kyung Soo?" I pulled a chair over to his desk. He nodded, he didn't even turn his face over to acknowledge me. Rude. That was all I thought. I grumbled just loud enough for him to hear. He didn't budge, still. I placed my arm on his desk and rested my face on my palm so I could get a better view of him.    His brows were thick, eyes were huge with rich eye-whites, a sharp and long nose bridge and lips that looked like a heart-shape. I almost jumped when my eyes met his. He was squinting his eyes at me, furrowing his brows. Wow was he fierce. I almost wanted to request for a change of partner but didn't want to create any trouble within a week of transferring. He pushed a slip of paper to me, which had a handwritten timeline for the project. The tasks for the project was even spread out across the timeline. This man knew what he was doing. But he obviously detested this pair-work thing, he didn't even bother speaking to me. He was the first guy ever who seemed disinterested in my looks. My presence didn't seem to affect him at all. I tilted my head to look at him again, he finally spoke. "Can I help you?" His voice was deep and husky, giving it a hint of iness. I sensed the annoyance in his tone as well. "Uh  I-" he heard bell rang and left the classroom, without allowing me to finish my sentence. I felt my blood boil as I crossed my arms and slouched into the seat.    "He does that to everyone, just ignore him." A girl patted my shoulder from behind.
