“ so when are you going to show me this date of yours “

Taemin said over the phone and kibum fought the urge to roll his eyes , sighing he continued putting the green liquid over his face , , he won’t look like a zombie after this , his skin will look so bright and pretty his ex would bit off his nails for losing him

examining himself on the mirror, he chuckled,  he looked like a green monster with his hair tied up like

“ you’ll know when we arrive today “

Said kibum smirking when he heard the younger whining , taemin was already at busan where the wedding ceremony will be held

“ whatever hyung , so when are you guys coming ? the wedding is tomorrow “

 “ today “

The blond answered simply as he entered his room and laid down on his bed trying to get some sleep before jonghyun call him so he can tell him when to head to the airport

“ wait isn’t today a work day , it’s like 9 am , why aren’t you at work ?”

At that kibum grinned remembering his conversation with jonghyun the day before

Flash back

Big brown puppy like eyes stared at kibum making him smile nervously and questionably , clearing his throat the confused blond looked at his boss and waited for him to say something , but nothing came out

“ okay what the hell is wrong with you ?”

Kibum finely snapped not caring that he cussed at his boss , the dude was staring creepily and kibum did not like it , at all

“ language “

Jonghyun said warningly making him roll his eyes in annoyance

Jesus it’s like talking with an old man

“ the thing is “

Kibum stared back at his boss curiously , the nervousness in his boss’s voice making him uneasy

“ it’s about the wedding you agreed to accompany me to “

Kibum nodded , his mouth forming an ‘o’ impression

So that’s what this all about

The blond tried not to laugh about the way jonghyun was nearly panicking when he pretend he didn’t remember the agreement

“ wedding ? oh yeah is that still a thing ?” He said uninterestingly smirking when the older frowned his eyebrows

“ yes it is “ Jonghyun snapped

“ um okay , what about it “

The blond croaked out with his most not interested face

He was enjoying the angry look his boss had on his face too much

“ it seems like we need to go a day before the wedding and um spend the night there .. “

Jonghyun finely said as his right hand rubbed the back of his neck , deciding that he tortured the older enough , kibum shrugged his shoulders and nodded

“ okay boss  “ he said cutely

Jonghyun smiled and his facial expression finely softening , he put his hands on his pockets and nodded turning back to leave to his office

“ but you will of course give me the day off tomorrow ‘’

Kibum looked at his nails and smiled when he heard jonghyun cuss under his breath

“ fine whatever “

End of flash back

“ my boss was kind enough to give me the day off Taeminnie , now shoo I need to sleep a bit , I didn’t sleep that well yesterday because I had to pick out my outfit “

Hanging up , kibum laid down carefully not to ruin his still moist mask , sighing he closed his eyes a smile never leaving his lips

Dingdong

The annoying door bell woke kibum up , he tried to ignore it but the that was disturbing him was clearly too persistent , sighing kibum threw the blanket and rolled out of the bed , looking at the clock , it was only 10 am , he only slept for one freaking hour

Wearing his slippers he dragged his feet toward the door , the noise never stopping , finely reaching the door he opened it too aggressively and snapped

“ WHAT”

Blinking his eyes  when he found his boss on the other side of the door dressed up in a some simple jeans pants and a dark blue shirt , his dark hair was messy

 damn he looked delicious

Kibum  groaned and crossed his arms

“ much for your manners kim jonghyun “

His boss looked almost weirded out as he stared at him

“ what in the name of god do you have on your face “

Kibum touched his face and remembered that he didn’t take off the mask , he blushed and blinked his eyes , clearing his throat he frowned pissed off

“ well you could’ve called before coming here you know , and don’t judge me this is my house “He said pointing out at his house “ and this is my face “ he pointed at his face , voice raising each moment “ I can do whatever I want to with it “

 “ I called but you didn’t answer , jesus why are you always so mad “

At that kibum snickered , he isn’t always mad , jonghyun drive him mad

“ so are you going to ask me to come in or ..”

Rolling his eyes the blond made some space and jonghyun thanked him before entering

The blond stood nervously as jonghyun examined his house with his eyes , good thing he was an organized person , sitting on the blue coach jonghyun’s eyes met kibum and they both looked away , the tension of the room was so thick as they both stared at the ground

“ um I like your house “

Kibum nodded and sat on a close by chair

“ thanks .. so what are you doing here I thought we’ll leave at 2 “

“ all booked , so we’re going by car “

“what ? it will take like forever I did not agree on this “Kibum said angrily , his voice getting high pitched

“it will take 5 hours if we leave now “ jonghyun answered reasonably

 “ but I wanted to fly first class for once “

Kibum croaked out clearly disappointed , his red lips were pouting  standing up jonghyun chuckled at the blond’s cuteness

“ I’m sorry I should’ve booked early ,but since I gave my secretary the day off , I was too busy “

Kibum huffed and pouted even more , pointing at his boss he glared

“ yah don’t blame me for being forgetful “

“ I’m not your friend kibum-ssi , where are your manners “

Jonghyun said eyes hardening at the dropped manners

The blond tsked and stood up making his way toward his boss , standing only few centimeters away from him , he started as he played with the hem of jonghyun’s shirt

“ you are not my boss right now jonghyun-ah , not even my friend … you are my date , and I think that If you want to convince people that we are dating ,you need to loosen up “

Their gaze locked for few seconds before kibum’s attention went back to the blue shirt in front of him , he fixed it and looked back at his boss

“ now be a good date and wait for me on the car until I change up , okay ?”

He finely said titling his head cutely ,he patted jonghyun’s shoulder and left him dumbfounded 

 

Jonghyun put his hands on his pockets and leant against his sport roofless red car , waiting for kibum to come out of his house , it was taking the blond forever and it was irritating him

“ he’s such a girl “

He mumbled as he glared at the house’s door , his eyes widened when kibum came out dragging a large pink suitcase making him wince , he was wearing some washed jeans shorts and a white tee-shirt with a cute drawing on it , his sunglasses were fancy and had a blue-ish lenses , it oddly made his blond locks brighter 

“ we’re leaving for a night kibum , not a year , how can you bring that much ?”

The blond crossed his arms and huffed cutely

“ it’s a marriage , what if someone else was wearing my same outfit , what if it got a dirty stain on it , are you willing to take responsibility for  that “

Sighing , jonghyun nodded his head clearly feeling defeated

“ fine , you’re such a spoiled brat I swear “

Jonghyun mumbled and grabbed the suitcase quite easily making kibum wonder how strong the guy was , he’d lift him from his feet with a quick easy  move , blushing at the thought he chased it away

“ I’m not spoiled “

He said weakly making Jonghyun fight the urge to roll his eyes as he opened the door to kibum who blushed at the gesture

“ I’m a man I can open my own door “

The blond said slowly and jonghyun knew that he didn’t mean a word , smirking he waited until kibum settle down on his seat and then he leaned over making him back down a little , getting squished between jonghyun and the car seat kibum felt his face on fire at the closeness of jonghyun’s body and his heart beat faster against his chest

Jonghyun smell was musky and strong , kibum liked it ,and  for a second the  thought of running his fingers around jonghyun’s brown locks seemed appealing

Kibum’s eyes met jonghyun’s  dark one , the older smirked and stood up he rubbed the back of his neck and his lips , pointing at the seat belt

“ better safe than sorry “

He said casually and walked around to his seat

This is going to be a very .. VERY long ride

And hour have passed and nothing was heard but the voice kibum was making as he ate his chips and the sound of the foreign music jonghyun was listening to

“ don’t get the seat dirty with that you’re eating “

Jonghyun finely broke the silence treatment

“ you cuss a lot for a man who have many principles jonghyun-ssi”

Kibum said looking at jonghyun , a fake smile on his lips , he rolled his eyes when the older said nothing in return and turned his attention back at the road , gladly there wasn’t much of traffic and they were soon on the freeway , he moved his hand out of the car and enjoyed the way the wind was tickling it

Feeling thirsty he looked over the food he bought for a bottle of water , finding it he smiled and opened it quickly making few drops fall on the car seat

“ yah what did I say about the car seat “

“ relax it’s just water , and what is it with you it’s just a car “

Kibum answered when he finished drinking wiping  his mouth with the back of his hand

“ juhan “

Jonghyun said eyes still focusing on the road

“ I beg you apart “

“ It’s not just a car , her name is juhan okay “

Jonghyun said shyly , not looking in kibum’s direction and it made the younger chuckle ,he moved his legs up and looked at jonghyun

“ and I’m the weird one ?”

His smile got wider when jonghyun hide his mouth with the back of his hand , resting it against the car’s window

“ whatever “

He added and moved forward to change the song

“ don’t you have anything apart from those foreign songs ? “

“ you don’t shut up do you ?”

Kibum glared at him before turning his attention back to the cd player , huffing in annoyance when he found nothing

“ what do you listen to ?”

Jonghyun asked , feeling a bit of pity toward the blond who was clearly bored

“ not this crap you’re listening to anyways “

And the pity feelings soon vanished

They fell into silence for few minutes , and kibum felt like an for snapping like that

“ um girl groups “

He answered truthfully , fighting the urge to slap the back of jonghyun’s head when he chuckled

“ figures “Jonghyun added “ look inside the box , I think I have a snsd cd or something “

The blond eyes winded and twinkled when he found the cd , feeling like he won the lottery , he put the cd on and started singing with them

The brunette just rested his arm against the window and watched kibum sing happily , smiling at how he cutely moves his arms to the beat

Kibum soon got bored from singing and decided that it was time to annoy jonghyun again

“ are we there yet “

He asked huffing when jonghyun didn’t answer him , turning around to be now facing jonghyun side profile he kept on staring at the older who shifted in his seat

“ what “

Jonghyun asked raising an eyebrow

“ we’re going to pretend we’re a couple in front of your mother and I don’t know anything about you “

“ sister “Jonghyun said correcting him “ my mother is not coming , she had some work to do , so only my sister will be coming “

“ you have a sister ?”

Kibum asked surprised at the new information

“ yeah why are you so surprised “

At that kibum shrugged his shoulders

“ you just don’t seem the kind  … I mean people who have siblings are like um more genuine ?”

Jonghyun just smiled and added

“ I actually have two siblings , sodam noona  and jaejoong hyung  “

Nodding the younger played with the hem of his shirt , it was nice , they were finely getting to know each other , and that fact only made kibum feel happy

“ oh , I’m actually a lonely child “ he said cutely

“ that’s quite clear “ jonghyun chuckled when kibum pouted at the Remarque “ you’re spoiled kibum “

The blond laughed and nodded , and jonghyun noted that he actually liked the sound of his laugh

“ did you just dropped the honorific boss “

Kibum grinned looking at jonghyun , who moved his attention from the road to stare at feline eyes

“ well since we’re a couple now , only for now though “

The loud sound of the engine made both man break eye contact and look forward ,

“ what was that ? “ kibum croaked out

frowning , jonghyun parked aside to check the car

Getting out of the vehicle , jonghyun opened the bonnet and got busy seeing what was wrong eyes checking every detail

kibum looked into his stuff and found a cold drink  , smiling he opened the bottle and got out of the car to look around , they were in the middle of nowhere , and the place did not look that appealing , anyone can jump any minute and kill them , no one will ever know what happened to the beautiful kim kibum

“ so what’s wrong “

He asked jonghyun who was clearly too pissed off

“ we need oil … and the closest mechanic shop is a mile away “

Huffing kibum leaned against the  car and said uninterestingly

“ well what are you waiting for , let’s hurry up and get it “

“ what no , I won’t leave juhan here alone , you’re going to stay here and I will be back as soon as I can “

Blinking his eyes , kibum stood up and chuckled

“ you’re kidding right ?”

Jonghyun only stared back stupidly at him , putting his hand against his hip the blond pointed a finger accusingly at him

“ you want me , to wait in here , in the middle of nowhere , where anyone can kill me and me and whatever , because you don’t want to lose your car ,  honestly what is more important your car or the life of a human being “

Jonghyun just rubbed the back of his head and raised an eyebrow

“ you know what don’t answer that “

Slamming the bonnet jonghyun eyes hardened

“ okay so what do you want me to do ? let’s just push it together until we reach the mechanic shop ?”

Kibum busted out laughing , only stopping when he noticed that the brunette wasn’t laughing with him

“ oh so you’re being serious “He said between chuckled “ I’m wearing white ?” he said like if it was the most obvious thing in the world

Jonghyun throw his arms on the air

“ you’re such a drama queen “

“ and you’re such an who think about nothing but his car “

They both glared at each others , and kibum wanted nothing more than smack jonghyun and rip off his balls , that is if he had any

And here he thought they were finely clicking and getting to know each other

“ you know what , I’ll just go home , I’m doing this for you and you want me to do extra work , just go there without a date and face your sister okay “

The blond finely said , using his final card , threatening , if only jonghyun knew how much he needs him as well

Tossing his shirt on kibum’s head the older said sternly after opening the door ,

“ just get in “

kibum moved the shirt away and stared at jonghyun who was half

 “ haven’t you heard about dress shirts “

He more of mumbled to himself a blush never leaving his face as he looked everywhere but in jonghyun’s direction

Few minutes  later , Kibum smiled as he sang run devil run , trying to remember the choreography , he moved his arms around

“ at least stop moving “

He heard jonghyun say from behind as he pushed the car , taking a sip from his drink he smiled

Oh life was so good right now

4 hours have passed and they finely entered busan , kibum knew it too well since he’s been here a countless of time to visit changmin’s house with taeyeon and taemin , he smiled at the old memories , how much he missed those days when they –

“ yah you missed the house “

Kibum said when jonghyun didn’t stop at changmin’s house

“ oh yeah , it’s been such a long time since I came here so I forgot “

Jonghyun said and moved his car back , stopping suddenly , he made kibum move forward and nearly hit his head

“ what was that for “

Kibum said glaring , moving forward jonghyun looked at kibum intensely making him move back against the door’s window

“ w-what’s wrong “

Kibum shattered as jonghyun squished him between him and car’s door

“ how did you know that I missed the house “

He asked all serious ,  shivering kibum laughed nervously

“ d-don’ be silly … I j-just….” Biting his lower lip , kibum felt like he swallowed something , jonghyun’s glare making his knees go weak

“ you were just “

Jonghyun stared back at him waiting for a reply , they were too close to each other to the point that they could feel each other’s breath against their mouths , kibum’s legs were locked between jonghyun’s opened one

“ oh my god changmin look who is here , is that kibum ? and jonghyun ?”

Kibum whimpered when he heard taeyeon’s voice and moved back a little trying to escape , jonghyun pinned him down and grabbed his shoulders with his hands so strongly that the blond knew it would leave a bruise , his lips let out another whimper when jonghyun’s grip tightened

“ jonghyun ..I ..am”

Kibum started trying to find a something to say , anything  only to shut up when jonghyun’s finger shushed him his breath hitching at the contact

“ busted “

Jonghyun said smirking before capturing kibum’s opened red lips , his hands leaving his shoulder’s and moving up toward the his soft face , caressing it gently, he smirked into the kiss when he felt the blond shiver and kiss him back his thin arms slowly moving forward and wrapping around his neck
