“ wow “

It was the only comment Minho could say after seeing kibum sitting down on his bedroom , papers everywhere , he had eye bags and his face was almost as pale as his hair , he looked up at Minho and tried smiling a bit , saying softly

“ oh Minho-ah “

Minho smiled at his friend , crouching down next to him , he ruffled kibum’s hair before saying

“ it’s the weekend , aren’t you supposed to take a rest “

Throwing the papers between his hands kibum groaned and held his face between his hands rubbing it

“ tell that to my of a boss “

Kibum answered finely , sighing he moved his legs up to his chest and wrapped his hands around them , looking at Minho with a sincere smile he said almost whispering

“ I missed you “

At that Minho laughed at that and pinched kibum’s cheeks

“ to be honest it’s good to see you tired like that “

Kibum chuckled and slapped his dongseung arm , rolling his eyes when Minho pouted adorably

“ don’t do that , only your boyfriend can nail it “

Kibum finely said standing up , putting his things away he helped Minho standing up and led him to the kitchen

“ coffee ? oh I made a chocolate cake yesterday , want some ?”

He asked as he moved comfortably in his kitchen , Minho rested his head on his hand and nodded slowly , smiling comfortably

Kibum put down Minho’s coffee mug in front of him and sat down next to him

“ so what bought you here , isn’t Sunday night your date night with Taeminnie ?”

Kibum curiously asked , looking at Minho questionably

“ yeah , but he is a bit busy , we’re going out actually so I can’t stay long “

“ oh , I still haven’t forgave you for not coming to the movie night yesterday , Taemin wanted to watch freaking frozen and you know I cannot say no to him especially when he pout and do that eye thingy “

Kibum said dramatically and Minho only chuckled at that

“ it’s not that I can say no to him either hyung “

“ but still ..”

Kibum said pouting adorably

“ so um .. the thing is taemin’s sister is getting married “

“ oh finely changmin grew a pair and proposed , they’ve been dating for like 4 years now , taeyeon will make a cute bride I can’t wait , we need early so we can help her with the weeding and everything “

Kibum said standing up happily clapping his hands and smiling widely , minho nodded and chuckled at his friend’s cuteness before clearing his throat and adding

“ the thing is .. dongwoon is going to be there “

A simple oh left kibum’s red plump lips and he sat down as quick as he stood up , looking at his friend’s face with a frown

“ joy “

He finely commented slamming his face on the kitchen table , sighing Minho rubbed his friend’s back , chuckling when the older kept on hitting his forehead up and down the table

“ yah yah ! you will get a bruise stop “

“ oh leave me alone dongseung , and where is your respect I’m your hyung for god sake “

The taller glared down at the blond and said teasingly

“ well fine , have a red bruise on your forehead , so that your boss will have a one more reason to mock you “

Glaring flames at his dongseung , kibum pouted and hit the back of Minho’s head making the younger groan slightly

“ that’s what you get for being a sarcastic “

Looking at his coffee cup , kibum took a sip of the hot liquid , looking up at Minho afterward

“ so … do I need to go ?”

“ that .. you should , after all taeyeon is like our little sister “

Kibum nodded admitting before slamming his head back on the table and making Minho yell at him again , he whined and throw his arms everywhere showing his distress of this whole thing

Oh kibum would do anything to not see dongwoon’s face again

Just anything

But life liked to with him didn’t it

Kibum struggled as he made his way toward his desk , a pile of papers in his hands and jonghyun’s black coffee on his other hand , he put down the papers with a huff and looked at jonghyun’s door , clearing his throat he checked himself for another time on his personal mirror , not forgetting to check if had anything on his teeth

He wore a tight dark gray leggings that made his legs look even longer and a long sleeved baby blue shirt with a cute accessories on his neck , his hair was styled neatly , his new shampoo working magic as it shined even brighter than usual , he smiled at himself and went to jonghyun’s office

Knocking twice , kibum opened the door to find jonghyun as usual behind his desk , his was wearing his glasses and oddly it made him even more handsome .. more manly and serious , he was reading something kibum didn’t even want to know what it was but the way his eyebrows were frowned and the way he pursed  his lips made kibum feel his knees weaken

Clearing his throat to make himself noticeable , he walked toward the desk and put down the cup of coffee waiting for jonghyun to acknowledge his presence , but he never did , pouting slightly , kibum cleared his throat again and waited but the older just ignored him and kept busy doing his job

What an .

Deciding to break the silence , kibum tried smiling even though he just wanted to slam jonghyun’s face down the desk for ignoring him

“ good morning boss “

Jonghyun raised his head and looked at kibum , not even smiling

“ morning “

He said simply

“ oh you have the same red spot on your forehead again … “

Jonghyun said simply  like if he was asking about the weather not insulting kibum’s flawless milky skin  , making the blood on kibum’s body boil

Was he embarrassed about what happened the other night ?

Fighting a smile , kibum titled his head before taking a seat in front on his boss , crossing his legs he smirked and said

“ so how are you doing boss ? did you have fun on the weekends ?”

Jonghyun only raised an eyebrow , not mattering a word , clearing his throat again kibum smiled and said

“ so um , about last night I told joong that-“

Kibum couldn’t finish his sentence as jonghyun cut him off

“ as you said kibum-ssi , it is none of my business “

The blond opened and closed his mouth a few times and blinked his eyes

“ um yes that’s what I was gonna say , yes , what I told joong is none of your business and um I will go now I have work and yeah “

Kibum mumbled stupidly rushing out of the room not even sparing jonghyun a glance , he slammed the office door and stood in front of it , glaring at the poor door he said almost yelling

“ what ? none of your business you ! Of course it’s none of your business and here I ing thought .. this arghhh “

Kibum turned around to be more than shocked to find a guy staring at him , and the blond felt his face burn in embarrassment

The look the handsome guy was giving him made kibum shiver , the guy was a bit taller than him , he had muscled arms , dark golden hair that reached his shoulder

Clearing his throat kibum flipped his hair and headed toward his desk

“ may I help you with something “

He asked with a smile as if he wasn’t yelling and cussing a moment ago at a closed door

“ is the headmaster on his office “

The handsome man said

“ yes he is and you are ?”

Kibum asked lowly , still embarrassed about the fact that the dude saw him cursing his boss

“ ah yes , I should’ve introduced myself first , you are his new secretary right ? lee jinki, math teacher , everyone here call me onew though “

Onew said taking steps toward kibum bowing slightly in kibum’s direction and smiling goofily , which made him a lot more cuter if you ask kibum

“ oh yes , ah , I’m kibum , well I’m technically not his secretary , I’m an english teacher and I’m just here .. it’s a long story “

Kibum said , giving up the idea of explaining , onew chuckled and said with a smirk

“ that explain why you weren’t that happy with him when I first entered, is he giving you a hard time “

Kibum groaned and chose not to answer the math teacher , calling his boss he told him about onew’s arrival and pointed at onew to enter

Onew nodded and walked toward the door , not forgetting to smile at kibum , and the blond wondered why he was such a happy person

“ you don’t understand taemin , I really , really don’t want to see dongwoon , like seriously “

Kibum said as he walked with his friend on the supermarket , agreeing on helping him cook a fancy dinner for minho since the love birds haven’t done it for a while , and taemin wanted to be a bit romantic

“ what are you saying , are you not going to my sister’s wedding ? “

Taemin said as he stopped pushing the cart glaring at the blond, swallowing something , kibum shook his head and smiled nervously

“ of course n-not , I’m going that’s for sure , I’m just saying how annoying it is to meet my ex - the one who dumped me when I needed him the most -  at her wedding “

Kibum said a bit sadly , as unwanted memories made its way back to his mind , taking a few tomatoes examining them , kibum put them in the cart and walked around choosing the vegetables , taemin following him around

“ oh stop nagging kibum-ah , it won’t be that bad “

“ oh it will be , especially since he have a new hot girlfriend as I heard , he will keep rubbing my noise in it “

Taemin rolled his eyes at that , tsking he said

“ find a date then , you are hot and pretty and cute , I don’t understand why are you still single “

The blond pouted and looked at taemin

“ didn’t I tell you how much my boss is an did I ?”

“ oh why are you changing the subject “

Pouting , kibum looked at taemin and shook his head

“ I’m not changing the subject .. for a moment I thought he was interested in me , and believing that thought , I rejected someone else “

Taemin’s eyes widened at that , his mouth hanging low , he held the blond’s hand

“ omfg kibum that’s huge … that means you like him “

At that kibum groaned and slapped the back of taemin’s head

“ yah who likes who , I just thought that he was interested that’s why I did that and .. I do not like that , I just thought that maybe I can .. I dunno give him a hard time ?”

Taemin pouted and rubbed the back of his head , rolling his eyes at his friends words

 “ oh shut up  you’d love it if he would agree and be your boyfriend wouldn’t you ? huh answer me wouldn’t you “

Taemin said jumping around making kibum huff and slam his head again

“ you’re in denial hyung “

Taemin finely concluded as he held the back of his head so he wouldn’t get any more hits

Kibum glared at his friend

“ you are such an , you know what you can cook your dinner yourself , I don’t care if you don’t get some from your boyfriend “

“ oh don’t be like that hyyuuung ~”

Taemin started some aegyu knowing that the blond was weak when it comes to his cuteness smiling in victory when kibum snatched the cart from him and mumbled how unfair the world was

The blond knocked two times before entering the headmaster’s office , jonghyun was standing up in front of the big window  talking over the phone with the most distressed look kibum have ever seen in his face

Clearing his throat , he decided to just put the papers on his desk and leave the office to give him his privacy

“ no mom , I will not go with jiyoung to the wedding …. You know I cannot stand her .. yes I do understand that I need to bring a date “

Kibum found himself chuckling hearing those words from his boss

So he was having a girl problem

Putting the papers on his desk , kibum looked around it a bit finding a familiar envelope kibum unintentionally  and out of curiosity opened it

Oh it was taeyeon’s weeding invitation , he got the same one from taemin yesterday

So his boss was going to this wedding ?

“ yes mom I will find a date, no changmin hyung wouldn’t get mad if I don’t  so please don’t send me any of those you mentioned .. I don’t want a blind date mother “

Jonghyun whined while obviously talking to his mother over the phone , he pinched the bridge of his noise and added for a last time

“ mother .. I have some work okay ? we’ll talk later “

Jonghyun hung up the phone and sighed , closing his eyes for a moment , he took a deep breath and ruffled his hair

What was he going to do now , his mother wanted him to bring someone to changmin’s weeding and he just cannot find a date in a two days period

Looking up , he raised an eyebrow when he found kibum staring at him with big curious eyes , changmin’s weeding invitation between his hands , his red lips were parted slightly

“ don’t you know that it’s rude  listen to people’s conversations  and to look into their stuff “

Jonghyun said , voice tired from talking for an hour over the phone , kibum shifted and smiled

“ yes , I do know it’s as rude as asking people to not date because of work  ,so let’s drop it “

Kibum said titling his head a bit making his blond bangs fall over his eyes , pushing them away , he smirked and walked over his boss

“ so boss , what are you gonna do about the date you have to bring to this wedding , as far as I know you are not dating anyone “

Kibum said confidently , only stopping when he was only few inches away from his boss , holding the invitation between his fingers

Jonghyun smirked at that , moving closer and breaking into kibum’s personal space , his right left hand grabbed lightly kibum’s wrist and he slowly lowered it , not breaking the eye contact with the blond, with  a gentle move , he took away the invitation and said with a smirk

“ I say it’s none of your business secretary “

Clearing his throat , kibum nodded and tried to act as composed as he could

“ of course it isn’t .. but well as your secretary , I’m just trying to help you , I mean by finding you a date or something like that “

“ oh how generous of you “

Jonghyun said fighting the urge to roll his eyes , kibum smiled and nodded , he turned around and walked toward the desk , taking a seat , he crossed his legs and said

“ well , it’s hard to find someone who would go and fake being your date so that your mother would be happy with you .. especially someone who wouldn’t ask for money or something in return , he or she have to be pretty too , to match your appearance of course “

Jonghyun decided to just listen to the blond , wanting to see what he was up to

As he got to know kibum , he came to a conclusion that kibum was sly

A very sly fox

And he liked it

“ so , kibum-ssi , do you think you can find me someone like that ?”

Kibum blinked his eyes and smiled slyly , he got up from the chair and again walked toward jonghyun who was resting his back against the window

“ as someone who have nothing to benefit from this , I can assure you that , I will be more than glad to help you , after all you are my boss and I need to fulfill your every need “

The blond said with a low y voice , his face only a few inches away from his boss , his breath hitched when jonghyun looked at his eyes , and he realized that kim jonghyun had the most amazing beautiful chocolate eyes he even seen , but he would keep that for himself

“ my every need .. is that so kibum-ssi ?”

Jonghyun asked , his face so close to kibum’s that the younger can feel his breath , with a smirk he looked up from kibum’s lips to stare at his feline dark eyes

“ you are hired then .. as my fake date “

Jonghyun parted away and walked to his desk , taking a seat , he wore his glasses and opened his laptop to continue his work , leaving kibum in a daze

The blond blinked his eyes and cleared his throat , he rushed out of the room and closed the door , his hand making its way to his chest as he felt his heart beating too fast to be considered normal , he took slow steps toward his desk and dialed taemin’s number as soon as he his heart beat came back to normal

“ hello ?”

“ omg taemin , I’ve got a date , and he is soo gonna make dongwoon jealous “

The blond said happily as soon as taemin picked up the phone

“ omg yeey , and who would that be ?”

Kibum smiled at that and looked at his boss’ closed office door

“ that would be a surprised “

He laughed when he heard taemin whine over the phone , his face still a bit red from what happened earlier , but the smile in his face was the brightest he smiled for years.
