When taemin first entered kibum's house at 6 am in the morning using his spare key , he did not expect seeing the elder sitting upside down on the couch , his head hanging low while he stared at some old black and white cartoons 

taemin was taken aback 

he knew kibum for 8 years now , and he only saw him in this condition , twice , the first time was when his mother died , the guy kept on watching old sick cartoons and movies  upside down until minho gathered the courage and broke  the tv into pieces 

the second time was when kibum noticed he had a thing for other guys , and the only thing that had him moving from that position was minho taking him out shopping 

sighing , taemin walked toward the younger slowly and sat down next to him, watching silently the ridiculous cartoons , while chewing on his lower lip

" did you even sleep at all ? "

he finely broke the silence , not even looking at his friend 

" half an hour hardly , gladly not upside down "

he answered , voice rough and tired from the lack of sleep 

" why are you here anyways " 

kibum asked turning his head to finely look at his friend

" minho couldn't sleep , he told me to come and look out for you , thinking you'd wake up late , he really wants you to keep this job this time kibum-ah "

kibum chuckled and turned around before siting next to his friend , laying his head on his shoulder , he played with his hair and looked at taemin , eyes all twinkling 

" i thought he said he wanted nothing to do with me until i have a steady job " 

taemin scoffed at that , smiling a bit 

" well , he cannot do that even if he wants to kibum-ah , he love you more than himself and you know that clearly ... so do i " 

taemin grabbed kibum's hand and played with his fingers lovingly 

" you're being extra cheesy taemin-ah , 'd have to tell your boyfriend about that " 

kibum said laughing a bit , before sitting up and turning around to be facing the other 

" the thing is taemminnie , i cannot seem to figure out why "

taemin blanked at kibum , titling his head a bit 

" why what hyung ? "

" i mean the guy clearly detest my guts  , he said i'm irresponsible and arrogant , he even said he wanted to hit me taemin-ah "

taemin just stared  blankly at kibum who stood up and took small steps around the room , eyes all serious while analyzing what happened to him 

" but then he took me to his place , no carried me all the way there , and we slept on his bed "

what ?

taemin chocked on his own saliva 

" kibum what the are you talking about "

taemin asked following kibum from behind  , getting the sock of his life when kibum  suddenly turned around facing taemin , holding a finger out 

" there can be an only explanation " he said smartly , like if he found the meaning of existence " the dude is a serial killer .. i'm totally his next victim oh my god taemin don't make me go to this job " 

taemin laughed at that

" hyung , you cannot use this method with me , i'm psychiatrist , no one is going to kill you , now be a good hyung and change while i make you breakfast neh ?"

taemin said as he dragged kibum to his room,

" you dont understand taemin , this is real "

kibum said dramatically,  silencing him with a glare taemin pushed him inside his room beore closing the door , sighing he headed to the kitchen leaving a frustrated kibum who kept on yelling how ' this in not a way to treat your hyung , yah YAH '

" come in "

the same deep husky voice welcomed kibum again , he let out a breath he didn't know was holding , he looked at his dry fancy clothes and smiled , he wore simple a black fitting jeans that hugged his body shape perfectly but in a classy way , and a simple white long sleeved shirt , this time he look more than presentable .

opening the door , the same cozy feelings that he first got the other time overwhelmed him , the lightning and the smell of warm coffee coming from jonghyun's desk made him want to grab a book and read it while laying on the couch that was positioned next to the door , clearing his throat he looked at jonghyun who was typing something in his laptop and shifted his weight from a leg to another 

" i'm quit surprised to say the least , you even got here early "

jonghyun said not lifting his vision from his computer and kibum wanted to scoff at the comment , the elder made it clear that he will be sent home if he was a minute late , clearing his throat he said after getting tired of standing up next to the door 

" shall i come in .. or come back later "

he said carefully , trying not to seem fazed at the other's cold, and improfessional  must he add,  behavior 

" oh of course have a sit kibum-ssi"

jonghyun finely looked at him with a warm smile , making kibum even hate him more

damn him and his handsome face 

sitting on the leather chair , kibum put one leg on the other as he stared at the principle who was too busy with his computer 

patience , was not one of kibum's many features , he hates waiting the most , especially when he have to wake up early to just sit in front of a handsome idiot , speaking about that , kim jonghyun looked rather nice today , he surely looked hot as that other night with a simple black shirt , but suits really , really , look good at him , especially when he look all concentrated like that , biting his pink tongue

" kibum-ssi "

jonghyun started startling kibum while he close his laptop , a smirk decorating his face 

" i do know that  i'm handsome , but you cannot just stare at me like that "

kibum felt like punching the hell out of kim jonghyun 

" i-i w--was not staring " he said shuttering , voice all pitchy and he hated himself for blushing 

jonghyun only smile at that , he took off his glasses and said while laying back on the chair 

" so about this job of yours " 

kibum nodded and cut him on the middle of his sentence to say the words that taemin made him learn on the way to the school 

" first of all , i want to thank you for this opportunity sir , i will prove that i'm worth the responsibility " 

jonghyun smirked at that , leaning closer to the desk , he said with a stern voice 

" of course you will kibum-ssi , you have to prove yourself after all you were selected after failing the audition , so you will not be hired the same way your colleges are " 

" i beg you apart sir ?"

kibum said , blood boiling with anger , of course he knew something like that to happen , this er is just wanting to toy around with him  

jonghyun stood up and walked around the desk to the big window that showed him the whole school 

" you see , my father built this school kibum-ssi , and when he died , he made me promise him one thing , that i should take care of this place , and so , i could not hire someone who i see might cause harm to this school , so you will be in a training period , so i can see if you are serious about this job or not "

at that kibum stood up and glared at him 

" i do think that my resumé qualify me to be in here sir , i do not think that i should be here arguing with you about hiring me while i'm as qualified as any teacher teaching in here " 

chuckling , jonghyun took step toward the younger , eyes glaring at him 

" sit down kibum-ssi i'm not done talking " 

" well i am "

scoffing kibum stood up and walked some steps toward the elder 

" i do not think that i should listen to you anymore " 

he said glaring at the elder who just looked back at him coldly , and kibum never felt more intimidated  in his life , the way jonghyun's dark eyes were staring at him made him want to break the eyes contact but his ego was bigger than that , he felt his heart skip a bit when jonghyun grabbed touched his shoulder and said with a cold voice  

" you will not enter that door again under any circumstances if you leave right now "

kibum's felt his eyes burn as all he wanted to do was cry and punch kim jonghyun until he saw white , but he couldn't let his ego get into his way this time, he promised he will get his together saying a ' you choi minho ' under his breath , he made his way back to his chair and sat down , glaring flames at jonghyun who was smirking down at him 

" so you were saying , a training period ?" 

kibum said coldly 

" yeah , you will start off to help me with paper work and help the teachers grade the exams and prepare them , ofc your department teacher , you will also help me with whatever work i need and tutor students who need extra credits , so how you say " 

" and how long this period is going to be " 

" that's something i shall decide " 

of course 

er 

kibum's fist felt numb from pressuring it , he smiled slightly and extended his hand 

" you've got yourself a deal , kiim jonghyun-ssi "

slightly taken a back , jonghyun smiled before shooking the other's hand , feeling the same jolt of electricity he felt at the club but ignoring it 

" you may start on monday "

" cannot wait " 

kibum said before standing up and walking toward the door , smirking a bit , two can play this game kim jonghyun 
and for the first time in his life , kibum wanted something so badly , he wanted this job to be his , and especially wanted to prove kim jonghyun wrong 

jonghyun watched kibum leave his office , he took a sip from his black coffee and put his glaces on before opening his laptop , returning to play poker a smile making its way toward his emotionless face 

this will be fun .
