[Sulli's POV]

 

I'm running out of time with only a month to go. I haven't even earned enough to to pay off my rent. I guess I'll have to say good bye to the apartment real soon if I don't find any job. Can the Heaven Gods send an angel to help me? 

 

The past months weren't easy, they were difficult and luckily, I got through it. Almost loosing my job at the coffee shop a month a go was nearly the end of me. Just because I spilled the costumer's drink over her white jeans, she starts to roar up and starts to make a scene? 

 

I said my apologies but she didn't accept my genuine apology. For some odd reason, she suddenly starts to call me a dirty and poor wench and started to disown my family. 

 

She took it too far and I couldn't handle it, so the next thing I did was going to make me loose my job. 

 

"Out of respect Ma'am, you may be in the higher class than I am but it's very rude of you to disown my family when in matter of fact you don't know them and haven't met them. I guess that spill deserves you right. And for you calling me a dirty and poor wench? Excuse me but have you looked at yourself in the mirror? Maybe you're calling yourself that." 

 

Those were the exact words I said to her, right after I said those words, I walked away but not even 5 meters away, she pulled my hair. This particular customer started to curse at me and made a scene. I couldn't take it anymore so I pulled her hair back. People were looking at us, it wasn't until the manager came in 

 

"ENOUGH!!" He yelled in anger,  pulling me and the customer apart. Then that lady put up an act and started to cry. Like who in the world does that? 'Such a wimp', I told myself 

 

She maliciously tells an untrue story and from then on, the blame was out on me. Of course, I started to defend myself but like the slogan says, "the costumer is always right"

 

It wasn't an easy road on pleading my manager to let me keep my job. I had to do some things to its extent to let me stay. I may have my salary dropped but I guess it's the consequence of it. 

 

"Why don't you just quit your job at the coffee shop and find a better job somewhere else?" Taemin says right after I explained to him the situation. It was day off from work and Taemin called me up to hang up for it's been almost 2 months we've last talked. He was busy with his work, with all the traveling he has to do 

 

"You think I wouldn't have done that a long time ago? I've been trying for 4 months to get out there and work somewhere else. But no, fate is being cruel to me once again." I replied, annoyed. 

 

"Geez, sorry. You know, I'm not quite up to date with your life lately. I'm pretty sure, someone will open their door for you soon." He replies, shrugging his shoulders. I sighed. Can this life get any better?

"Minho, what's up with you? Seriously, you haven't found any woman to be your wife? Get a hold of yourself and man up. Find someone to be your damn wife." Mrs. Choi says, Minho frustratingly closes his eyes. He's tired of hearing this all over again, Minho gets it. He needs to find a wife 

 

"Umma, don't you think if I was interested I would have found one since day one? I'm not ready to have a wife and start a family yet, why can't you guys understand that? I know it's a responsibility but I'm not willing to do it yet. Don't force me when all of us know that I will just refuse the idea. Don't make this harder for us, umma." Minho says in the calmest yet having an stern voice

 

"What are you scared of? Loosing your bachelor life? Son, that's part of being married. Your strictly grounded into one life, one responsibility." His mom argued back, the frustration built inside Minho 

 

"If this is all were ever going to talk about until I get settled with a wife then I'm leaving." Minho says, getting up and about to leave 

 

"Fine, if you want it that way. Go ahead, live your bachelor life. But the time will come and when it comes, it will make your conscious feel guilty.   Just be ready to face it." His mom said, Minho stopped walking, trying to sink in what he just heard

 

Minho had enough of this, he wants it to stop but it will only stop if he fulfill his parents  needs. Now he was more than determined to find someone to be his wife. He'll give that person whatever she needs so she can just be his wife and so that his parents won't bother him ever again 

 

Minho picked up the phone and dialed someone. Although he knows it's a bad idea, he has to push through it.

"What's with the sudden urge of this meet up? You got a problem?" Taemin says, taking a seat across from Minho. Only what Minho could reply at the moment was a roll in the eyes

 

"Tell me about it. My problems keep piling up. Taemin, find someone who could be my wife. I need someone quick." Minho says, Taemin was taken aback a bit 

 

"I'm willing to help you but you know how hard it is to find someone willing to be your wife in an instant? I have to drastic measures to get you a wife" Taemin reasons, Minho shakes his head 

 

"I know. That's why, I have you to count on. I'll give her anything she needs. Money, a house, whatever. Just let her name it, I'll give. I'm desperately in need." Minho says, Taemin sighs 

 

"I think I know someone." Taemin simply replies, Minho starts to crack up a smile. Minho thanks Taemin but for Taemin, his contemplating on whether it's the right thing to do. 

 

Right after the quick meet up, Taemin calls up the person. With his heart pounding and his mind scattered, he dials and waits for her to answer.

The coffee shop wasn't too busy and right when Sulli received a call, she was on her break. She answered the phone heartily when knowing who the caller was 

 

[on the phone] 

 

Sulli: Oppa! You called! What's up? 

 

Taemin: Can we meet briefly? I need to tell you something 

 

Sulli: Yeah sure, I'm on my break right now, so I can spare time. Where do you want to meet? 

 

Taemin: ah, just stay there. I'll be over there in 10 minutes. Can you wait that long? 

 

Sulli: Yeah, I could wait. I'll be waiting, Oppa. Drive here safe.

 

 With saying their goodbyes, the phone call ended. Sulli waited with anticipation for Taemin to come, just like what he said, Taemin arrived at the coffee shop in 10 minutes after their conversation

 

"So what is it you want to tell me?" Sulli asked as soon as Taemin takes his seat and Sulli passing on a a drink to him 

 

"I shouldn't be doing this but I'm doing it anyway. Sulli, I know someone who can help you out." Taemin slowly reveals, Sulli looks at him in confusion but then cracks a small smile 

 

"Go on, tell me. What do you mean help me out? As in, help me pay off the rent or give me a job?" Sulli says, Taemin takes in a deep breath before spilling out the beans 

 

"This certain person can help you in both ways. He can help you pay off the rent and give you a job. But the thing is, you have to give something in return if your willing to do it. What do you say?" Taemin says with his heart beating crazily, waiting for a reply from Sulli 

 

"What is it that I have to do in return?" Sulli replies, Taemin sighs. Suddenly, guilt crept inside him. Should he say it or should he not? 

 

"You have to be his wife in return." Taemin says slowly, not wanting to over shock Sulli 

 

"Let me guess get this straight, in return, I have to be his wife to get what I want? That sounds absurd" Sulli says, Taemin looks down, sighing 

 

"I know. It is absurd but if you think about it, he'll give you what you want. He even willingly offered it himself. He is just in desperate needs right now." Taemin replies

 

"I don't know, Oppa. I'm not sure if I'm willing to do that. Being a wife is a  huge responsibility and I'm not sure if I can take up that responsibility. Especially, if I'm not familiar with him." Sulli explains 

 

"I understand. Yeah, it is a huge responsibility. Maybe your right. It's okay, if you don't want to. I'm sure he'll understand" Taemin says

 

"Let me think about it. Can you tell him to wait for a while before I give an answer? Why don't you give me his number and from then on, i'll take whatever consequence I'll face." Sulli replies, Taemin nods. He passed on Minho's number and gave a uneasy smile toward Sulli 

 

"Don't force yourself if you don't want to."  Taemin says in low voice, Sulli reaches out for his hand and smiles at him 

 

"I won't. I'll just have to think about it first. But I promise you, whatever my decision in the end will be, I won't force myself. Okay?" Sulli says gently, Taemin nods, smiling a little
