It was about 15 minutes later when one of the doctors came out of the ICU. Minho and Sulli fixed themselves, wiping their tears away. They need to act strong, they simply mope around all day, they need to be strong 

 

"Hyun Joon is really a fighter. He is now stable but we're watching over his heart vitals, making sure he's not going to cardiac arrest. As for his kidneys, miraculously it started to work once again. As of now, his body is cooperating well with the medications were giving to him. If this goes on, Hyun Joon can be soon taken out of the ICU and placed into our nursery. It is still uncertain when he can be taken home but if his body takes in the medication well as well as if he continues to grow, he'll be out of the hospital in a few months or so." The doctor said, giving hope to Minsul. Hearing those words brought happy tears to Sulli's eyes, it means Hyun Joon is fighting which is great 

 

After thanking the doctors, Minho instantly embraced Sulli. No words were needed, both know what each other was feeling and thinking. They were beyond happy with the news. It means in no time, Hyun Joon can finally go home. 

 

As the nurses and other doctors started to leave the ICU, Minho and Sulli went inside and looked after Hyun Joon for a while

 

"You scared me for a while, little buddy. Don't do that again, okay baby? You really scared me and mommy. The doctors said you're fighting. I'm happy to hear that, baby. Continue to stay healthy and keep growing so we can finally leave here and head home" Minho said with a small smile 

 

"Daddy is absolutely right. Stay healthy, my Hyun Joon. Keep fighting. Don't give up on us, baby boy. I can't wait to go home with you, baby. So if you want to leave here, continue to grow and cooperate with the medications, okay love? Know that Mommy loves you very much." Sulli says, trying to stop herself from crying any longer

The past few weeks, Hyun Joon's condition continues to improve everyday. The doctors find it a miracle to witness the different improvements Hyun was making. Minho and Sulli were beyond grateful for the improvements, it gave them hope 

 

"I have to go to the office today. There's an important client that I have to meet and I can't have Mr. Kim do it. Are you sure you'll be fine? Do you want to go to my parent's house for today?" Minho informed, they were back at the house and back to their regular schedule but always make sure that they visit Hyun Joon at least once in a day 

 

"I'll be fine here. If there's any problems I'll call you right away. Don't worry about me, I can take care of myself" Sulli said with a small smile, Minho defeatedly sighed. Kissing Sulli goodbye, he heads off to the office as Sulli was home alone in the house 

 

She decided to head up to Hyun Joon's room and stay there for a bit. As she opened the door, Sulli had thoughts of Hyun Joon being there, bringing a smile to her face. She couldn't wait until that finally came true 

 

"It's going to come true soon. I'll wait for that day to finally come." Sulli said in a low voice, looking around the room as she softly touched the crib. Sulli went over to the rocking chair and sat down, she grabbed one of the books on the shelf and started to read it 

 

She imagined having Hyun Joon on her chest as she gently rocks the chair, reading a book to him. Even if it was an imagination, Sulli could feel as if it was real like Hyun Joon was in her embrace. Before she knew it, Sulli fell asleep on the rocking chair with the book plopped on her chest 

 

It wasn't even 1 in the afternoon as Minho came home. As he entered the house, it was pure silence which he found weird. It wasn't usually this quiet, Sulli would usually have been in the living room, watching TV or in the kitchen cooking but today was different 

 

Putting his shoes away, Minho searched the kitchen, the bathroom, their bedroom but found no trace of Sulli until he stumbled to Hyun Joon's room. Opening slowly, Minho peeked inside checking if Sulli was there and when he saw a small glimpse of her, he opened the door widely and entered 

 

Minho found Sulli sleeping soundly  on the rocking chair with a children's book on her chest. His heart swelled, he knew how hard for Sulli to deal with this especially that she's a mother 

 

"The past weeks have been hard for you. With everything going on, I'm happy that your trying to keep yourself together even though it hurts so much. You're a strong woman to cope with this. Especially having the responsibility of a mother, it must weigh a lot. I'll do my best to keep you happy through these tough times." Minho whispered as he knelt beside Sulli, gently caressing her cheek 

 

Moments after, Sulli started to stir in her slip eventually waking up. Minho greeted with a warm smile before giving her a small kiss on her lips. Sulli was surprised to see this early, it was quite a shock 

 

"Babe? You're here already?" Sulli asked, confused. Minho chuckles, he gently cupped her cheek and smiled sweetly at her 

 

"I didn't want to leave my wife alone, so after the meeting I had with the new client, I canceled all my appointments for the day. I want to spend the day with you and well I do miss your cooking." Minho said, smiling

 

"If that's what you want then I'll cook for you. I'm sure your hungry" Sulli said as she started to laugh. They both left the room, heading towards the kitchen where Sulli started to cook for their lunch 

 

"Ugh, how I missed this for the past weeks. Seriously, nothing beats your cooking babe." Minho said after finally tasting Sulli's cooking once again, she laughed as she continued to look at Minho eating away

 

"You can't stare at me forever babe. You need to eat too. Am I too good looking to stare at?" Minho teased a little, breaking into a laughter. Sulli broke the stare 

 

"No, your not just good looking. Your very handsome that any woman would want you" Sulli chuckles as she started to pick up her spoon and started eating 

 

"Well that's too bad for the ladies, I'm already taken by the most beautiful and down to earth woman. I wouldn't replace her, she's a keeper" Minho said, Sulli smiled 

 

"You better keep her because she's keeping you no matter what happens" Sulli said with a hint of seriousness even though she was smiling 

 

"Why would I replace her? She's the only one for me. Nobody else but her" Minho said, chuckling

"Ya Choi Minho, you dare sleep on me when we're watching a scary movie? Aish" Sulli raised her voice as she looked down to her lap and saw Minho sleeping soundly. Sulli found it awfully quiet when she was the only one screaming when something scary pops up or what, she should have seen it coming 

 

Sulli rolled her eyes, she moved his head off from her lap and placed a pillow underneath his head instead. Instead of finishing the horror movie, she put on a different movie, a romantic comedy instead 

 

"Well won't you look at that. The prince finally woke up. You're too late, your princess lost interest" Sulli said sarcastically with her arms crossed in front of her chest 

 

"Wae? Why are you acting like that? What did I do?" Minho asked, confused at Sulli's sudden grumpiness 

 

"Oh I don't know, maybe you should ask yourself that. Next time, maybe you should watch a scary movie with your wife instead of dozing off, leaving her scared and annoyed." Sulli said, Minho chuckles

 

"Seriously babe? Well sorry, I couldn't  help myself" Minho said, trying to contain his laughter. Sulli just rolled her eyes and went back to watching the movie. Minho couldn't help but tease  Sulli as she watched the movie, he would poke her on her side gently, lean his head on her shoulder and snuggle even if she would him away 

 

"Aish, so childish" Sulli mumbled annoyingly, as Minho heard it he was laughing 

 

"Do you want to visit Hyun Joon?" Minho asked, stopping his teasing act. Sulli turned her head towards Minho, nodding slightly 

 

"Then what are we waiting for? Go change babe and we'll head on over" Minho said with a smile, Sulli got up from the sofa and headed upstairs to their bedroom, freshening up before changing 

 

After so, Sulli came down and they were off to the hospital. The car ride was quiet, Sulli was still annoyed with Minho but she couldn't stay annoyed that long at Minho, she was only choosing to stay quiet and be distant to see how Minho would react 

 

As they arrived at the hospital, Minho parked the car and they left to to go up to the ICU but with Sulli walking ahead, not even waiting for Minho

 

"Hey baby boy, Mommy is here again. Do you miss me? Because I already miss you" Sulli said with a small smile. In no time, Minho came into the room and went over to Sulli 

 

"Babe, can you go buy a water bottle? My throat is feeling dry" Sulli spoke up, Minho nodded, he got up from his seat and left the room to find a vending a machine 

 

"You know baby, Daddy left me alone while we were watching a movie earlier. He fell asleep on me, how nice right baby? Daddy tried so hard to make me smile, teasing me. It was cute of him, but you know what. He doesn't know that I was touched by his efforts. Isn't Daddy a great man? That's why I love him very much, you would too" Sulli said moments after Minho left. She was smiling recalling what happened 

 

"Hyun Joon baby, you're super lucky to have him as your Daddy. He puts a lot of effort in making us happy and content." Sulli continued,smiling, what Sulli didn't know was that Minho was behind the door, listening to every word she said which brought a sweet smile to his face

It's been a month and half since the incident happened and everything was going well. Hyun Joon was finally taken out of the ICU, he is now in the nursery. His vitals are stable and he's been gaining weight which is a good sign. MinSul were excited to know that anytime soon, Hyun Joon could finally go home

 

"Hyun Joon is been gaining weight which is a very good sign. He's definitely improving a lot which is very good. Little Hyun Joon is on the right path. He can be taken home in the month or possibly even weeks." The doctor informed Minsul as they were called into his office 

 

"That's really great to hear. Thank you doctor. That's wonderful news." Minho thanked, the doctor chuckled 

 

After the doctor's visit, Minho and Sulli took the time to head on over the nursery and visit Hyun Joon for a while before Minho leaves for the office. During their time at the nursery, Minho and Sulli took turns carrying Hyun Joon. It was also the first time they ever saw Hyun Joon smile 

 

"Seems like my baby is happy today. That's good baby, always be happy. Right Daddy?" Sulli said, cradling Hyun Joon in her arms, smiling as she was holding him 

 

"Of course, always be happy. Just how we are happy to have you" Minho said as he gently touched Hyun Joon's nose to which he smiled upon

 

"Everyday should be like this. Happy and fun." Sulli says softly, Minho grins slightly. He wrapped his arms around her shoulders as Sulli placed her head on his shoulders 

 

"It will be. Once Hyun Joon is out of here for good, every single day will be filled with happiness, fun, joy and so much more." Minho says softly, smiling as he tighten the grip on her shoulder
