Chaerin's POV.

I woke up with my eyes painfully dry and my throat feeling like a sandpaper. I trashed around in the bed, whining a little, waiting for Jieun to come for me then I realized something: I'm not home. Sitting up straight, I noticed that I wasn't surrounded with the familiar water and was instead in dry air. In excitment, I lifted the blanket and saw my feet. I squealed and wiggled my toes and slapped my thighs lightly. Okay, ouch, maybe not so lightly. Ah, being human is fun. I then remembered I had crashed into someone else's house. Kwon Jiyong, that was the name. I smiled and then frowned, why isn't he here yet? Shouldn't he treat his guests well? Waiting for him to arrive, I tried to find a comfortable position.

"Gosh, have to do everything by myself" I sigh and jumped out of the bed. Wrong move, I thought as I fell flat on my face. I groaned in pain before getting up, my eyes even more irritated. I tried blinking the dryness away but then I  remembered my dad packed some eye drops in my suitcase's side pocket so I quickly went and took them. After having the dryness and irritation in controll, I looked for clothes to wear. When I finished dressing up, I noticed his room had no windows in it. Frowning, I take a look at myself from the huge mirror on his wall and smile. I'm so pretty it almost hurts. I liked my new legs a lot, I had kind of thick thighs that I really like since I don't find having a gap between your thighs attractive. I think the only downside in my appearance is that I'm short. Satisfied with my outfit - a short black skirt and a white loose sweater accompanied by a black cross necklace - I did my makeup and then moved my attention to my boring black hair. I decided to just brush it so it looked decent and then wondered what to do.

I walked out of the room and instantly I was hit with a delicious smell of some kind of food. I was so hungry I followed the scent in almost like a trance and walked in the kitchen. There was a woman in about her forties making some kind of a porridge or something and I felt suddenly awkward. She turned around and shrieked when she saw me. She looked around in alarm and then grabbed the wooden spoon she had just dropped on the ground in shock.

"Who are you and what are you doing in my house?!" she said in a panicky voice and I just wanted to burst into laughter. She looks so dumb, I thought.

"Answer me!" she shouted and my eyebrows rose. Did she actually just command me?! I was going to put her in place when I remembered my dad telling me I should be respectful to people that look over 30. This woman was definitely my dads age and so I decided to drop the ing and bowed.

"Hello, I am Lee Chaerin" I introduced myself. Her hand holding the wooden spoon relaxed and she looked at me for a bit before saying:

"Are you the new cleaning lady?"

Excuse. Me. What.

How dare she?! Okay, calm down Lee Chaerin. Inhale...Exhale...Inhale...Exhale... Stay respectful!

"No, I'm not. I was just someone that needed a place to rest and your son offered me one" I smiled then realized something,"I mean, Kwon Jiyong is your son, right?"

She nodded and visibly relaxed.

"I'm sorry for assuming you are a cleaner. I don't know why I thought you were a cleaner anyway, you look way too young. I'm Kwon Areum" the woman infront of me said to me and extended her hand and I awkwardly shook it.

"I was wondering why Jiyong was sleeping on the couch... Well, I'm glad that pig was enough of a gentleman to offer his bed to you" Areum said and I felt like laughing my off. I think I'm just gonna let her think her son is a gentleman so I smiled a really big smile and nodded.

"Do you want something something to eat? I was making porridge, do you want some?" she asked me with a smile and I nodded. I think everyone can hear my stomach screaming for food... It's literally like one of thosebig brown animals we studied about in biology.. Wait, the name is right on the tip of my tongue! It starts with a 'B', right? Yes, yes it does! Beer? No wait, that's the alcohol... Bear!! That's it! My stomach is groling like a bear... Does that make sense? Oh whatever, I give up.

A drowsy Jiyong walked in the room and I watched in amusement when he jumped a little when he saw me.

"YOU!" he screamed and I just furrowed my brows. What is wrong with this guy?

"What about me?" I asked as I sat down on a chair and accepted the bowl of porridge Areum gave me.

"What are you still doing here?!" he asked me with an annoyed tone.

"I'm just gonna eat.." I pouted and looked down. The next thing I heard was a slap and an "Ow!" from Jiyong. I looked up and saw his mom glaring at her son.

"Kwon Jiyong, be nice!" she said to him and he looked down.

"I'm sorry, Chaerin-ssi. He didn't mean it like that" she smiled at me and I smiled back. At least his mom was nice.

"Jiyong-ah, get dressed up, your sister and her boyfriend are coming over" Areum chased her son out of the kitchen.

"Sweetie, you can stay here and eat with the whole family so you get to leave with a full stomach" Areum smiled at me and I smiled and thanked her.

Meanwhile, at Ariel's:

"What do you mean she's not there?!" an angry man asked Ariel through the phone. (A/N: Can you say ''through the phone'' doe?)

"It means Lee Chaerin is not here with me, Lee Ariel. Either she ran away or then she got lost" Ariel answered, irritated.

"Are you absolutely sure, Ariel? Are you sure she didn't fain on the beach or something?" the man asked and she rolled her eyes. , she thought.

"Yes uncle Jae, I am sure" Ariel rolled her eyes. How typical of Chaerin, she thought with a slight smile. She still doesn't get why her uncle thinks Chaerin is some kind of an angel kid.

"Do you know how we could track her down?" her uncle asked and she pondered if she should tell him or not. Of course knowing her uncle, she knew he had given her a credit card that could be tracked. There was also her phone that could be tracked. Ariel thought about for a while longer before shaking her head. Her uncle didn't need to ruin Chaerin's freedom.
"I don't think there is... You could give me her number, I'll see what I can do" she said and wrote down the number. She ended the call with her uncle then called her cousin, hoping she would answer. Lee Chaerin, you better answer if you want to live in peace in the human world, she thought.
