"Gain—" 

She quickly left the room when Soohyun tried to chase after her. No matter how many times he called her name, she didn't care to look back. 

Right when the three were coming out and into the living room, they spotted Soohyun and Gain leaving the building. 

"Leader!" Jongsuk called when he noticed the tensity in Soohyun's tone, calling after his leader. The taller lad hurried out after them but ended up stopping by the doorway when he noticed the two had stop in the front yard. 

"You must have misunderstood my intention." Soohyun said as he stood just a few steps behind Gain. She stood still in her tracks as she waited for him to continue.

He heaved an annoyed sigh, "As her older brother, it's my duty to protect her. I've never told you before but I....When Jiyeon and my parents passed away it was difficult bringing her up alone. And because I couldn't be by her side or become a good model in her life....Jiyeon went through a lot of crap." 

He took a deep breath, trying his hardest to convince Gain, "So I know it may seem like I'm using you or something like that. But honestly I want to protect the both of you....It's just I've met a dead end and I don't know of any other way to find her and make you happy at the same time. And the thought of losing you both, it's annoying. So please try to understand." 

Gain spun around, her eyes were red but there were no traces of sadness or anger. 

"Don't worry about me, good luck finding your sister." 

Soohyun could only watch as Gain turned away again and leave the scene. 

"Leader!" Jongsuk called as he ran down the door's front steps. He slowed down once he was beside Soohyun, when he knew the lad wasn't going to chase after Gain, he let out a sharp sigh. Then he hurried after Gain. 

Seyeon turned to Seungho, "Soohyun really wants to find Jiyeon himself, why don't you just teach him the other way already?" 

Seungho kept his eyes locked on the lonely back of Soohyun's, "We'll see, Soohyun may choose his love for Gain over Jiyeon." 

Seyeon flattened her eyes, "What are you saying? You think Soohyun will choose that mermaid instead of his sister?" 

"I told you," Seungho turn to look at Seyeon, "you won't be able to have Soohyun unless I allow you to. Even if he choose Jiyeon over Gain, the chances of him lcoming back to you are still low." 

Seyeon scoffed at his words. 

He, Soohyun, and Seyeon were back inside his home and sheltered from the warm sun.

"You want me to find a way for you to become a siren in a day?" Seungho asked. Though he knew of a way, what he was curious of was how and why did Soohyun suddenly brought up the request. 

Soohyun nodded, "There must be a way right? Everything is possible so there must be a way correct?" 

Seungho could see a small smile plastered on Seyeon's face from the side, "But, what about Gain?"

Soohyun sighed, "If I become a siren, there's no where on this planet where Gain can go and hide from me. I will ask for her forgiveness after I find my sister." 

"Soohyun, I told you. I will look for Jiyeon. I will—"

"I know she'd probably want you to find her first....But I want to find her. I want her to know that she can lean on me as her only family left alive....Besides, after I become a siren I will go to the Pacific with Gain....I probably won't be able to see much of Jiyeon after. So please do me this favor...." 

It took a few seconds as Seungho thought his friend's words through, "The process is too risky Soohyun." 

Soohyun moved closer to Seungho, almost desperate. "So there is another way? You know of another way right?" 

"The 90 days process may be the longest but it's the safest. I'd prefer you take that route instead and leave Jiyeon to me." 

"How are you going to look for my sister if you have to help me become a siren?" Soohyun questioned. 

"A white dragon has quite the influence in the sea. Getting many of my followers to help me search for Jiyeon is the fastest way to find her in all bodies of water."
