The next morning Ha Ni woke up to the smell of fried eggs. Entering the kitchen she met Mark standing at the stove with her pink apron on and frying eggs and making French-toast. Seeing him like that she giggled: “Good Morning! You look cute.” Looking around she noticed a few bags on the table. “You went shopping? You should’ve waken me up! I feel bad treating a guest like that.”
Mark smiled at her: “Nah it’s ok. I woke up cuz I was hungry and opening your fridge there war literally nothing so I went out to make some breakfast. You know we haven’t even known each other for 24 hours and you already treated me like a close friends so I wanted to pay you back ok? Sit down and wait. Breakfast is almost ready!”
“But I can help you finishing up the rest and –“
“Nope just set the table and sit down.”, Mark interrupted her sternly clearly not giving up after Ha Ni commanded him around the night before. Scrunching her nose Ha Ni gave up, set the table and sat down watching Mark doing the cooking. She couldn’t help but giggle at the sight. Mark a certainly handsome and well-built boy with her pink apron flipping toasts in a pan. “What are you laughing at? I know you keep staring are me. Can’t resisting me already?”, Mark asked.
Ha Ni made a face and stuck out her tongue: “You know my apron really suits you but don’t be so full of yourself! I’ve seen way more handsome boys than you.” Showing an offended face Mark complained: “Oh ho! I am doing your breakfast here at least be thankful!”
“Ok ok handsome boy keep going my tummy is screaming for food.”, Ha Ni laughed and kept watching Mark.

Watching Mark doing the breakfast Ha Ni couldn’t help but wonder how close she and Mark already were. They’ve barely known each other yet she felt totally comfortable around him. Still lost in thoughts she didn’t notice that Mark was already finished and carried the food to the table. Sitting down he snapped his fingers in front of her face “Whatcha thinking about?”
Coming back to reality she smiled: “I was wondering how close we already actually are. We’ve known each other for like 14h yet I totally feel comfortable around you. Normally I need time to get comfortable around people.” Nodding Mark agreed: “I totally feel the same! I don’t even know why I just really feel comfortable even though I barely know anything about you, just a few things Namjoon has told me. And I also have a hard time to open up to people normally! So feel special!” Ha Ni laughed and continued eating her breakfast. There was something Mark had that made her feel calm. She felt relaxed and happy around him and really enjoyed his presence. They had talked a bit yesterday at the gathering and she really liked it. Nothing spoke against deepening a friendship between them. Thinking about that she asked: “So if we both think like that we should get to know each other better, don’t you think so?”
“I totally agree! So you are Jung Ha Ni, born 1995 right? I am Mark Tuan and your Oppa by 2 years. You love chocolate and food over everything and can be a meanie sometimes, all that told by Namjoon.”, Mark nodded. She gasped: “Daaaaeeebak! That’s what Namjoon is saying about me?! Excuse me? I am a cute and lovely girl! I think I need to talk to him properly…”
“Well let’s see how you’ll really turn out. You are in college right? What are you studying?”, Mark laughed at her reaction. She was about to answer when suddenly her phone rang. Looking at the Caller ID she smiled: “Yo Namjoooon! We were just talking about you!”, and put the call on speaker.
“Talking about me? We? Is Mark with you?”, Namjoon asked “Yep we are having breakfast now and he told me that you sometimes talk about me calling a MEANIE! I am your lil sis how can you?”
Hearing that Namjoon laughed: “Well you don’t call me oppa and you always empty my fridge when you come I think that’s reason enough.  Did Mark stay over night?”
“Unbelievable…”, Ha Ni muttered, “Yes, he did. It was too late yesterday and he was tired so I let him stay here. Driving while being tired is dangerous. How are all you guys doing?” As soon as she finished asking her question she heard the boys rumbling and screaming in the background. She started laughing, as usual Taehyung and Jimin were the loudest. Mark joined their conversation aswell and it went on, loud and funny as usual. When Ha Ni was about to finish the call Namjoon asked: “Ha Ni can I come over in three days? I’ll leave tonight to my girlfriend’s and will come directly to you after her birthday? So we can finally start the bucket list as promised.”
“Yeah sure! We are free anyways. See you then and have fun!”, she ended the call. Mark looked at her questioningly: “Bucket list?” “Uhm, well Namjoon and I started it a few weeks ago in the middle of the night. We listed up things we want to do together and wrote them down. It’s over there on the wall.”, she explained and pointed at the bucket list. Mark formed his mouth in to a o-shape and nodded. They finished their breakfast and were cleaning up when Mark’s phone rang. Ha Ni looked up surprised: “You have the same ringtone as me?!” He just smiled and answered the phone: “Yo Jackson! What’s up?” 
While Mark kept talking on the phone Ha Ni finished cleaning up the kitchen and made some coffee. After finishing talking he came back “So yes! I have Frank Ocean’s Lost as a ringtone, too. You’re becoming cooler and cooler!”, he grinned. “It is a damn good song! It is calming and the lyrics are amazing. I totally love Frank Ocean!”, Ha Ni nodded and with that they kept chatting and finding more similarities between them while drinking coffee.

After a while Mark decided it was time to go home. They both were so immersed in talking that they totally forgot the time. “So you live only twenty minutes away from me? You live even nearer to men than Namjoon how did you end up meeting Namjoon before me?”, Ha Ni asked while walking Mark to the door.
“Well I met him at a dance workshop somewhere near his home. But I met you now right? Let’s meet up often!”, he answered while putting on his shoes. She waved while he drove away, closed the door and started cleaning up while humming happily.

Three days passed by quickly and all was left now was Namjoon to arrive at HaNi’s place. They had decided to make a cake today and Namjoon promised to bring the ingredients. Ha Ni was also craving for sweets so she had bought sweets for a battle later. She was waiting impatiently for him to arrive when he called. “Ha Ni, I’m so sorry! But my girlfriend has no school today. We decided that I should stay one day longer since we barely see each other. Totally forgot to tell! I am really sorry! I will come tomorrow is that ok?” Trying to hide her disappointment Ha Ni anwered: “Yeah sure it’s ok. Call me when you leave tomorrow.”
Namjoon kept apologizing what made her even more disappointed and even angrier. Not wanting to show him that she kept saying that it was ok and hung up. After she hung up she threw her phone on the bed. He was at it again. It was always his girlfriend when they planned something big – he either came too late, postponed it or left earlier because his girlfriend called or he forgot it. It hurt her how he couldn’t get the priorities right. She was still his best friend of five years and she had been coping long enough with that now. Tolerating it for a while now she kept growing tired of it but Ha Ni always hid it from him wanting Namjoon to be happy.

Not knowing what else to do she decided to call Mark if he was free. Ha Ni knew that if she would spend the whole day at home she would just end up being more mad at Namjoon for no reason. She needed distraction. Fortunately Mark was free and they decided to go out clubbing. They agreed that he would pick her up at 7.
Exactly at 7 Mark was ringing the door. Ha Ni opened the door greeting him with a hug “Come in. I’m not finished yet, sorry. Fell asleep before. Want something to drink?” The latter smiled: “Go get ready. I’ll wait in the living room.” With that he sat down on the sofa. Hani hurried in her room and changed her clothes. She was done in five minutes and came out. Mark looked up and complimented her: “You look good! Let’s go.” She smiled and thanked him.

They decided to go to the nearest club to enjoy the night. The music was banging loudly when they entered it, people were dancing and having fun. Heading to the bar they decided to have a few drinks first to loose up before hitting up the dance floor. While getting the orders Mark insisted to pay no matter how hard Ha Ni tried to decline. Giving up she just took a sip of her drink. With more drink both loosened more and more. But somehow Mark noticed that something was bothering Ha Ni. She kept swifting away with her thoughts and loosen her smile. He watched her while she was lost with her thoughts and sipping her drink. “Hey! You ok? Something’s bothering you?”, he tried to ask. Ha Ni just looked at him, smiled and shook her head: “No I’m ok! Let’s go dancing!” With that she grabbed his arm and dragged him towards the dance floor. Not convinced Mark followed her. He didn’t want to bother her too much so he decided to watch her tonight. He could guess that she just wanted distraction. While dancing he watched Ha Ni closely afraid something might happen to her. The way she danced amazed Mark. How she had her eyes closed, a tiny smile on her lips and the way she moved to the rhythm totally lost into the music. After a few songs they went back to the bar, thirsty from the dancing. Mark just ordered a water but Ha Ni ordered some Alcohol again. He tried to stop her in the opinion that she already had more than enough but she was stubborn. With a sigh he gave up. “Guess I’ll just watch her tonight and ask what’s bothering her tomorrow.”, he thought.

With more and more drinks Ha Ni was clearly drunk and Mark decided to call it a day. He grabbed her arm and waist and led her outside. She couldn’t walk straight anymore and gladly accepted his help to walk. Reaching the exit of the club Ha Ni deeply inhaled the fresh air and laughed: “At least Mark. At least I have you.”, she pointed at him and smiled, “YOU! You are my Mark! Don’t leave me like that dummy Namjoon does. Hah! Forgetting that we were supposed to meet!” Mark sighed: “So that’s been bothering you all day?”
He called for a taxi and both got in. During the drive home Ha Ni fell asleep with her head on his shoulders. Looking down Mark whispered: “You have feelings for your best friend right? That’s why it is bothering you that much.”

Soon they arrived at Ha Ni’s place. Afraid to wake her up Mark carried her to the door, searched through her purse for the key and carried her to her room. He settled her down on her bed and covered her with the blanket. Grabbing the door handle he was ready to leave when he heard her mumble in her sleep: “Namjoon you idiot. You damn idiot. Why am I always getting left behind? You promised me that you’d never do that like all the others!” Mark turned around a saw a tear slipping down her face. Seeing that he didn’t have the heart to leave her and decided to stay by her side for the night. Silently he sat down next to her bed. Watching her sleeping face he wondered why it hurt Ha Ni so much that Namjoon forgot about her. What made Ha Ni so easily hurt? Who had left her behind? He really wanted to find out but knew that he couldn't push her for answers. They needed to get to know each other way more to open up about topics like that. Sighing he her hair out of her face, took her hand: "Jung Ha Ni, what are you doing to me?" and closed his eyes. Never, really never he had opened up to a girl that fast.
