*Kim Geunsook’s POV*

I’ver ever been slapped before, but none burn like hers. I kept repeating about what just happened a few hours ago. I didn’t comeback home afterward. I had no courage to do that. I just couldn’t get home to see her disappointed face—well that, if she came home. I guess she went back to her dorm or something.

I kept questioning myself about what the hell was I doing back there at the cafe. I must’ve lost my mind. I should have not met Jisoo the way I did. Like a fool, I only hurt myself, Chorong, and Jisoo. I inhaled a deep breath, trying to get a sense.

“What the hell am I doing...”, I whispered to myself.

I opened up my phone and make a courage to call Chorong. She didn’t answer me at the first and the second ring. I decided to text her but then I realized it won’t work. “Damn, what should I do..”. I kept messing my hair because I was running out of ideas.

Not a minute after that, my phone rang. I looked at the caller ID immediately but unfortunately it was just a call from the hospital.

“Yeah… Alright, I will be there for an hour or so. Yea... Okay, just make the patient stable. Ok, thank you”, and with that I drove my car to the hospital.

*Writer’s POV*

Park Chorong sat there quietly in the dining room. She went home after all. She couldn’t help but to come here. The clock showed 21:45 p.m. yet Geunsook still wasn't here. She felt bad to slap him but she was hurt and jealous, so that was the only action she could think about. Her mind wander on to this girl at the cafe. Kim Jisoo. Geunsook’s ex. Whoever she was, she must have been really precious to him. Chorong took a deep breath. She should not be this way. She took her phone and she decided to put her ego away and about to call Geunsook but then she saw a message from her group chat.

Naeun: Everyone don't forget our fan sign event tomorrow~ fighting!

‘’Oh My God, I totally forgot about it, aish...”. Chorong stared at Geunsook contact name for a good minute, “No, I will not call you tonight. Take that!”, she spoke to herself as she put down her phone and went to the bedroom.

It felt strange to Chorong to sleep alone. The bed felt bigger and the air conditioner felt too cold. Chorong sighed for the hundredth time already. She couldn’t sleep. She couldn’t help but thinking about Geunsook. Above her anger, she still thought about where the hell was he. Where was he sleeping, was he fine?

“Stupid Geunsook”, she whispered lightly before decided to close her eyes again.

*Around 1. 30 a.m.*

Geunsook threw his bag at the living room sofa. He sat down and relaxes his neck. “. It hurts.”, he said as he messaged his neck. He got a sudden operation a few hours ago. The operation should have ended quiet shortly but kept losing his focus so he couldn’t do the it as quick as he used to. He looked around hid penthouse. So empty. It looked like Chorong didn’t come home after all.

He got up and decided to call it a day. He walked to the bedroom. It was dark as how he left it before so he didn't thought about it a lot.

He opened up his coat and shoes and loosen up his tie.. He didn't turn on the lights. He didn't have the feel to. So he just threw his body at his bed.

And what happened after made him had a mini heart attack as someone shrieked loudly under him.

“WHAT THE F- “, Geunsook was about to curse before suddenly the person that shrieked the bed-side lamp.

Chorong sat up as she couldn't believe someone just threw himself at her. “What the hell just happened?! Who the- “, Chorong stopped her shouting as soon as she saw Geunsook right beside her. “Are you out of your mind?!”, she yelled.

Geunsook tried to bring back his senses, “What the hell, it was your fault! How could I know you were there?”.

Chorong hissed to him as she looked at him intensely. “God, I can’t believe it.”, she rolled her eyes. “And anyway, where have you been?! What time is it?!”, she vented.

Geunsook made a little space since he didn’t want his ears to have any problem. “Stop yelling at me, Jesus! I just got back from a sudden operation! Was that a crime?”
