Eunhyuk could feel himself slowly changing. He realised that he was less annoyed with donghae now and he realised that he constantly had the urge to see donghae. There was something about donghae that made eunhyuk's day better, though he doesn't show it, eunhyuk really cared for that boy. Eunhyuk had been spending quite a while taking care of donghae for the past few days and donghae leg was getting much better. He could leave the boy alone now, but he didn't want to.
"eunhyuk... i'm scared"
"OF?!?!?!"
"I'm scared i won't be able to dance anymore"
Eunhyuk literally felt like killing himself when he heard what donghae had said about his situation.
"Donghae... LISTEN... it's just a sprained ankle. I've sprained my ankle before too"
"Really??? That's good" donghae said while flashing his cute smile.
Eunhyuk felt his heart beat a little faster.
"ARE YOU SAYING THAT IT'S GOOD I SPRAINED MY ANKLE?!" eunhyuk raised his voice slightly. Eunhyuk hoped that by raising his voice, donghae would not be able to hear his REALLY LOUD AND FAST heartbeat.
"No... it's not that. My dad died a couple of years back and i know his biggest wish was for me to live my dream. You have no idea how important dancing is to me. It's my life, i'm not dancing to show off my skills or win medals. It's to live."
Eunhyuk could not believe what he had just heard. Donghae sounded so mature, not like that annoying, childish brat he knew. He regretted befriending donghae initially just so that donghae would be of use to the dance team. He felt disgusted and ashamed of himself for ever thinking like that. Donghae deserves to be treated better.
"Erm.. eunhyuk... DO I REALLY LOOK LIKE A FISH?"
"Ok let me take back everything i said about donghae suddenly becoming mature." Eunhyuk thought to himself.
"Yes. Kinda"
"Oh, is it because of my extreme love for nemo?"
Eunhyuk couldn't even reply, he just walked off leaving a extremely confused donghae behind.
