It turned out that the students need no telling twice when the Prefects announced that the woods and some parts of the school would not be accessible for the meantime. News broke out that there had been some poisonous plant that grew in the school grounds and none of the students wanted to be victims. Screams from the Infirmary could be heard, and none of them wanted to experience that. Another version of the rumor was that it started with Prof Victoria's cooking class and it was food poisoning, or that it came from the Botany lab and someone breeded a poisonous crossbreed of wild flowers. The rumors were as creative as the last one, and Eunhye didn't need to threaten anyone to get her way. She even started some of those rumors. Subtlety was never the problem for her.

At least that version of the poisonous plant in the woods were true. Or at least, the effects of a certain variety of a wisteria flower seemed to show on those who were infected. Which was why Eunhye needed to check out every nook and cranny. She'd need help, though. She could already hear the nagging voice on one of her "brothers" making fun of her because she had been a lousy Head Guardian. Just one year that brother Changmin was gone, the problems kept raining on them. First, a Fury passing the Gates, now this.

She walked to the Eastwood and ran into a person. Well, technically she didn't run into him, she rather ran under him. Kris was sleeping, on patrol, and he was floating in midair. She almost got angry at this. What if a regular student had walked by and saw him levitating in his sleep? Besides, he was supposed to keep watch. However, she didn't want to ask questions and be asked some, as well, that she, herself, would not be able to answer, and so she just shrugged it off. For now.

"Kris?"

Kris opened an eye and he suddenly lost his balance and fell on the ground. He frantically got on his feet and dusted off his pants. This was not something you can explain to anyone. He didn't know what to feel ashamed of, that he fell asleep, or that he was levitating in his sleep, or that he fell on his but.

"I-I...uh..." he began.

"Where's Baekhyun?" Eunhye asked, choosing not to touch that part where he was levitating.

"Huh? Oh... I think he went into the woods... I'm not sure."

"I thought I made it clear that no one goes in?" Eunhye silently scanned the woods for any traces of Baekhyun.

"Uh," Kris was still tongue tied. 

"Anyway," she turned back to Kris. "I'm gonna go look for him here. Just make sure no regular student comes in."

"Sure."

Leaving Kris in his awkward state, Eunhye walked into the woods, trying to follow where Baekhyun went. She could hear his mind faintly, which meant he was deep inside. And he was not alone. She just hoped they didn't step on any wisteria shrubs. She found them soon enough but they didn't notice her.

"Please," Baekhyun pleaded for the upteenth time. He had followed the girl, Chareen deeper into the woods. "I just became Prefect. Eunhye's gonna kill me and I haven't even spent a night at the House."

"I'll be fine. She's wrong, it's not in the woods. Now I just gotta find those stupid scrolls."

Eunhye didn't know the girl personally, but when she had looked into the girl's memory earlier, she got a general look on her personality. A timid girl who didn't know the extent of her talents and beauty, who preferred to be invisible than to make mistakes. The girl who just talked back at Baekhyun didn't sound like the Chareen at all.

"But isn't Eunhye's words, like, the Law? She can get real scary, I'm sure you know that."

"How scary?" Baekhyun and Chareen both looked at Eunhye's direction.

"It's not the woods," Chareen started. "I remember everything."

Eunhye was silent for three seconds. She was busy looking into the girl's memory. What bothered her, though, was it wasn't Chareen's memories she was seeing. Chareen's presence wasn't even there, like she was asleep. Eunhye looked again in the girl's eyes and found them glassy. This wasn't Chareen. It was just her body. It hit her. Someone was controlling her.

Let the girl go. Or I'll hunt you down, and find your empty body and you're not gonna like it.

Suddenly, Chareen screamed and she fell to the ground. Luckily, Baekhyun was there to catch her.
