In Between Here and There (and Nowhere and Everywhere)To be honest, all Yoongi wanted was to sleep in. He craved for the warmth of his bed sheets. But no, PD-nim wanted him to work today. He wanted Yoongi to evaluate the performers to fill in the last member of Bangtan Sonyeondan. He knows that no one would be good enough to fill the last spot. It would take a real person to do that. Not some factory made performer who doesn’t know how to time his moves to a hiphop song unless choreographed. They would never find a person whose voice is alive enough to break through the fast and dark lyrics of hiphop. No one would be the last member of Bangtan.
It seemed like fate was on his side. Namjoon called PD-nim and asked if Yoongi could take a break and maybe he would fill in, since Yoongi was having a hard time creating beats. Yoongi was lacking inspiration nowadays and has resorted to creating songs which are too bleak. Namjoon thought he needed a break.
So it was Namjoon who got up and got ready to face the newbies. Seokjin dragged a half-asleep Namjoon to breakfast. Namjoon bid Seokjin goodbye with whines of why does only Seokjin hyung get a goodbye from you? from the dongsaengs. Namjoon stuck his tongue out and kissed Seokjin on the forehead.
“Don’t forget to call me, okay?” Seokjin reminded.
“Yeah, and call me if you need anything.” Namjoon said as he hugged Seokjin for the last time.
Namjoon was nearly out the door when Yoongi appeared from his shared room with the hyungs and threw Namjoon a pillow. It smacked Namjoon square on the head.
Namjoon clicked his tongue and asked, “What now?”
“Freestyle. Ask them to dance to it.”
Namjoon finally bid goodbye and kept what Yoongi said in his mind.

Jimin was panting when he finished his performance. He nailed all his steps; his turns, and even made an impromptu backflip at the end. He was very proud of his own choreography. It was never too flashy or too dark or even to hard. It was just perfect and it accentuated all of Jimin’s strengths and concealed all of his faults.
The man he zeroed in a while ago just stared at him, unfazed. The man was still writing down notes and casually looking up at Jimin but
