“Welcome to the high school new students. Please go to your homeroom where your mentors will be waiting.” Said the Principal

“What the hell it says 107 but there is nobody in this room.” I shouted looking through the window of the classroom

“You must be Katerina?” I turned around and looked to see a tall guy with a cheesy smile.

“Yeah I’m she, who are you?” I asked giving him a confused stare

“I’m Joon Lee your mentor for the school year.” He reached out his hand and I awkwardly shook it

“So where is everyone else?”

“If you read the post it on the door it says homeroom 107 meet in the cafeteria” Joon pointed out

“Oh I knew that…” I let out a soft chuckle “So where are the rest of the students?” I questioned.

“Sophomores and up don’t have to come to school until 11:30am

“So why are you here? If I were you I’d sleep in.”

“I wanted to meet some cute little freshmen girls.” He smiled

“Well good luck with that.”

“Why are you such a bitter person? I hate people like that. Make it seem like you hate life or something.” He ranted at me

“it’s not that I hate life or anything I’m just trying to not make it seem like I’m a push over and people could push me around, I was bullied in middle school ---“

“And so you want a new start. Clearly being a won’t make people like you. You should Try being nice.” Joon snapped and seemed a little annoyed by me.

“Well once someone gets to know me they’ll see the real me.”

“Good, since I’m your mentor we’ll get to know each other more.”

“Whatever” I rolled my eyes and walked away.

“Where are you going?” he shouted after me.

I stopped and turned to look at him “ to the cafeteria duh.”

“Well you’re walking the wrong way” he mentioned.

I didn’t want to feel stupid so I said “I know I’m taking the long way, I need some excercise 

“Okay I like to exercise so I’ll walk with you.” he said walking besides me.
