She didn't get to sleep.

'Ugh. Not even a wink.' She snorted.    You would think that she would doze off in peace in her new apartment, but nah, she did not.    She hates to admit it but she's such a baby, she can't sleep without her omma around. Gah.    She has never slept on her own. Except supposedly last night.   And she tried. Hard. But she just couldn't.   What a total failure.          When her unnie decided to get her own pad here in New York, Dara tackled her omma into sleeping in her room for a week or so. Until her unnie had to resort with letting her sleep over or coming over.    She got so used to sleeping with her unnie back home even when they have separate rooms.    Yeah, you get the picture, she's somewhat clingy. Separation anxiety? Check. One reason why she opted to migrate with them.    Dara's dad has to always travel, it comes with his job and so, she and her Hanbyul was always left with their mom. But this was the last stop, according to her dad, and their mom wants them all to stay here for good. Without much of a choice, she was impelled to go along.    So going back, her omma almost went livid when she told them the next big thing: she got herself an apartment. Yay? Nay.    You know how some people have phobias? Well apparently for Dara, she can never sleep on her own. Like, alone in a room? No. No can do.    Lights off? Yes.  Creepy crawling insects, yes.  But sleeping in her room, on her bed, with nobody else? She'd die.    It wasn't fear for the closet monster. Or anything for that matter. She's alright taking a nap in mid daylight alone but at night, that's when the game changes.    Uh-hm.    Weird? Check.    Her mom, unnie and friends used to think it's cute, for a kid, yes of course. But when she reached middle school and college and still has the same trouble, her mom had to seek help but no therapy worked for her.    To this day, it's still the same ol' case and she doesn't think it will ever change.    So yes, imagine her mom's horrific reaction to her life-altering decision. It was an understatement to say she was appalled.      'Sooner or later this has to happen. Be strong Dara. You're not a baby anymore.'    Somehow she hoped this would change the way her appa sees her, even if it's just a tad bit. But no, it didn't mar a thing.    'Better try harder tonight, smartypants.'             Ottokae.    She stares at her face in the mirror and heaved a sigh.  "I know there's nothing I can do with this ugly face. But how can i progressively get uglier? It's not fairrrrr~.."  She poked on her cheeks several times, pouting and animatedly making faces.    Glancing one last look at her dreary face, she grabs her satchel bag, laptop and file folders and scurried out towards the door.   'Aigoo I hate being late. Please don't make me late.'    Somehow her knee bumped on the edge of the coffee table, sending her towards the floor, face first.   Ohsweetmotherofcheese!   Clumsy? Check.    She spews a string of curses, not bothering in fixing her already unruly hair or clothes and hurriedly walks out.        GD's POV   He pressed his fingers at his temple.  Goddamn headache.    Hang overs are the worst, seriously.   After speaking to his dad last night, he had half a bottle of Schorschbock. Enough to drag out his consciousness. Oh man.    He was summoned to drop by in the office early today. His dad said he had to personally take care of the business meeting.    Something he'd never want to do if only he still has his druthers. But it seems, time is slowly closing in on him and he's got nowhere left to run.    That explains the headache. That, and the random analytical composition of the universe and its destinies.    And obligations. And promises he was born and raised to fulfill.           He stepped onto the lift and was just about to press on the close button when he almost got knocked off.    '.' Good thing he got quick reflexes, he was able to grab the rail as another human being roughly pushed him in.    "Mianhe." The perpetrator, who turned out to be a girl, spoke in an austere tone.    The door closes.   He pushed his sunni
