(ChunJi pov)

I can’t believe it really.. L.Joe.. No.. Byunghun.. He want to be my friend. The person that I like more than as a fan. I must be a lucky person in this world. He’s the one that ask to be my friend. Sincerely, I can’t stop squealing silently when he drove me home last week. I’m too nervous as I stuttered when I answered him and can’t look up at him.

“Hyung…  Chanhee hyung..” ChangJo nudged my shoulder as I was still in my own world. “What are you thinking? Is something good happened? You can’t stop smiling.”

“R-really?” maybe the thought of L.Joe made me smile continuously.

“You won’t tell us?” I shook my head as an answer. “Hyung~~ Do you already have boyfriend? Since last week, you can’t get off from your phone. You hold on it all the time.” he’s right.. Now I’m also holding on my phone, waiting for any text or call from L.Joe.

“It’s none of your business.” I said back to him.

“So it’s true? You have one?”

“NO!! I don’t have anyone..”

“Hyung~”

“I only like you, Jonghyun-ah..” I joked with him while try to look at him sincerely for pretend.

“Eeeww.. I don’t like you, hyung..” he said while backed away from me a bit. I giggled at his reaction.

“But I really love you..” I insisted to play with him. Did he really take it seriously? I move forward toward him.

“H-hyung.. A-are you fine?”

“I’m totally fine.. I love you, Jonghyun-ah..” I said while moving forward, putting on a serious face. He didn’t move and just look at me. Did he caught my act?

“You love me? Then.. Kiss me.. If you love me..” he said while giving me his evil smirk. Alright… He’s playing with me right now.. 

“Alright..” I said while leaning forward which made our face closer bit by bit. I stopped when our nose touched.

“Hyung!!” he pushed me away. I laughed at his nervous face. “Stop the joke..”

“Ne ne.. Mian..” I said as I clutched on my stomach. Trying to surpass my laughter.

“I-I’m going to class now.” he said as he got up and leave me alone at the canteen. Did he get mad? He’s not right? It’s just a joke. But.. Whatever it is.. I need to go to class now.

“YA!!” I startled when someone just surprised from the back.

“YA!! I’m older than you!!” I hit his head immediately when he sat beside me.

“Hyung~ Stop looking at his schedule. It’s not like you can meet him.” Niel said. I’m currently see L.Joe’s schedule just now with my phone.

“It’s none of your business.” I put away my phone and continue to do my homework. “What are you doing here anyway? At my house.” I asked him. He will come here whenever he want and my parent already recognise all my friends. Not only Niel but the others also usually spend their weekend time at my house. But today.. Niel said he want to spend a night here.

“I saw him yesterday. Your lover.”

“YA!! What lover.” I said while giving him hit with my book. He dodged my attack with his hand and stopped me.

“L.Joe.. He ate at Dani café. There are so many girls pretend to eat there.”

“So?”

“So? I thought you would be bad-mouthing the girls’ fan.”

“I’m doing my homework now.” I just pretend not to care but actually I just keep it.

“Hyung~~” he whined next to me making me felt a bit annoyed.

“What~?”

“I saw it..” I stopped my work and looked and him confusedly. “This morning.. You and Jonghyun.”

“This morning?” I recalled back which this morning where I talk with ChangJo at the canteen. “Why? I just talk with him as usual.”

“Really?” he looked at me suspiciously. But.. something off from his expression. It’s not that I can read people mind but his expression and his eyes show it all. Jealous?

“You like him?” I said straight-forward. He seem flustered from the question. “YOU LIKE JONGHYUN?” he didn’t answer me which made me shocked that it might be true.

“HYUNG!! You’re too loud.” He said while covering my mouth. I pushed it away and looked at him, wanting to know the truth. “D-don’t tell him.” he looked unconfident about it.

“Since when?.. Since when you like him?”

“L-last year.”

“Why don’t you just confess to him? Maybe he like you also.”

“Maybe he’s not.. I-I don’t want to break our friendship.”

“Niel-ah..” I went closer to him, giving him a hug as a comfort. “Don’t lose your hope. We aren’t sure yet about his feeling.”

“But.. He probably like girl. I-I don’t want him to think I’m gross.” I patted his back in process.

“Maybe.. Maybe I can help you a bit..”

“It’s fine, hyung. I don’t want him to know about me at all.. Let it be a secret forever.”

“Niel-ah..” I pulled away, holding on his shoulder and stared at him seriously. “I don’t like you to give up easily.”

“But.. It’s already 1 year and I already get used to it. I’m used to the feeling.. Keeping it by myself even though it hurt a bit.. But I’m really don’t care about telling him or not anymore.”

“Ya~ Keep your spirit up.. Don’t give up easily.”

“I never gave up but a year has passed but nothing happened.”

“Enough talking about this… We’ll talk about it other time.. I don’t want to be emotional at night.” I said to lighten up the atmosphere. The more we talked; I think it would be full of sadness later. “Do you want to hang out with me tomorrow? After school end?”

“Wae?”

“Just want to spend time together with my Niel..” I said as I slung my arm around his shoulder, pulling him closer to me. At least it makes him smile.

“I’m not yours, hyung..”

“Ne ne.. Anyway.. Let’s go out tomorrow evening.”

“Where?”

“Anywhere.. Let’s go to sleep now..” I stood up from my seat and laid on my bed. Niel made his way toward another bed. Right.. I have extra bed on my room because I asked my parent to buy another bed. They also knew that Niel or others might stay here for a night or maybe a few days.

“Good night, hyung..” Niel said to me.

“Ne.. Good night, my Niel… Dream about me..” I said and I saw him giggled at my word. He covered himself with the blanket and I did the same before go to sleep.
