Aaaakkkk! Jeonju Six Months Later “Do you still want to take Taejin on vacation to Jeju-do? We can look after him in here for you. I’ll miss him,” Sung Ah said whilst Taejin slept in her arms. “I promise SNSD to come over there this weekend, mother. They also missed Taejin so bad, only Seohyun and Tiffany that got a chance to see and even took a picture with him two months ago. The rest of SNSD were jealous,” Taeyeon packed Taejin’s formula milk. “Moreover, I think it’s time for me and Taejin to go together on a trip. Ever since he was born, I didn’t even have a chance to travel anywhere.” In the first six months after Taejin’s birth, Taeyeon was learned how to be a mother, the hard way. How she woke up in the middle of the night because of Taejin cried, how her meal was disturbed because she had to change Taejin’s diaper. All of those stuffs really made her exhausted. But the whole tiring newly mother stuffs experience were worth it when she saw up close every Taejin’s growth. It was astonishing, dissipated her tiredness, and changed her frowned face to smiley face all day long. “You know that’s normal. You’re a mother now. Why don’t you ask them to go to Jeonju. I will make special dishes for them. I will serve Jeonju Bibimbap to them.” “You’ve packed enough, mother,” Taeyeon chuckled as she put all her mother’s bibimbap to nine package. “They couldn’t go out freely for a few months, anyway. You know they’re in the middle of promoting their new album.” “Are you okay, Taeyeon? I mean, seeing them. They’re doing all the things you used to do together? You were SNSD Leader, afterall,” Sung Ah picked her words carefully. Taeyeon’s activity stopped. To be honest, she really missed singing and dancing like before her departure from SNSD. To be a singer was and still is her dream. Singing was her life. But, after she gave birth to Taejin, her priority changed at all. She realized singing wasn’t everything anymore. Taejin was the best thing that happened to her. Taejin was her life now. “I do miss singing, mother. But I also am enjoying life like this. Its comfortable, quiet, I have my own time. I manage myself better. It’s better like this. Singing doesn’t have to be on stage, you know?” Taeyeon put Taejin’s diapers to the bag and zipped it. “What’s your plan? Do you have other plans?” “I have many dreams and plans in my head, mother. I know exactly what I want to do next. But, for now, Taejin is my priority. I dedicate my life for him,” Taeyeon took Taejin from Sung Ah’s arms and kissed him brutally until he woke up, crying. “Yah, Kim Taeyeon! You woke him up!” Sung Ah yelled. Taeyeon laughed funnily. “Did I wake you up, baby? I’m sorry. You’re too adorable when you slept,” Taeyeon kept kissing Taejin and put him to the baby basket. He became silent instantly because of the toy in the basket. “Kim Taeyeon! Do you want to go or not?! I have my own plan too, you know?” Jiwoong’s voice sounded from outside. “Yes oppa. Just wait me a little bit more. Ish,” Taeyeon wore her hoodie and sunglasses and carried her bag. “I’ll come back tomorrow, bye mother,” she kissed her mother and took Taejin’s basket with her. “Come back quickly! Be careful! Yah, Kim Taeyeon! Keep my Taejin safe! Don’t forget to feed him!” Sung Ah ran to the front door and yelled to Taeyeon. “Yes mother, do you even worry about your daughter?!” Taeyeon shook her head and went in to the car. Taeyeon opened the car’s window and looked to Jeonju’s morning sky. She inhaled the air deeply, filling her lungs with pure oxygen. Summer breeze felt cool for Taeyeon. After being outside and looked around, Taeyeon realized how she missed going somewhere and travelling around the town. “Taeyeon, why are you so adamant to bring Taejin in plane trip? He’s just six months old. Do you even know that?” Jiwoong muttered. “Why? He’s big and strong enough to travel, oppa. He doesn’t even stay still when I put him in the bed. The distance from Jeonju to Jeju isn’t too far after all.” “Eiyyy, no matter how strong and active he is, he’s still a six months old baby. If something happen to my nephew, you will be the first I hit, Taeyeon.” “Okay, okay,” Taeyeon snorted. Ever since Taejin’s born, her family put more attention to Taejin. Even Taeyeon often end up being scolded because of her clumsy act when took care of Taejin. But, she’s thankful because she lived with her family that didn’t get tired of her and so patient bearing her whining. Taeyeon’s never lack of affection since moved to Jeonju. “Oppa, do you love Taejin?” Jiwoong scoffed sarcastically, as he didn’t believe why Taeyeon asked such an obvious question. “Are you crazy? I’ll be his shield if it necessary. I will die for him. Why did you ask such a stupid question?” his answer made Taeyeon smiled. “Why are you smiling? Isn’t it too cheesy?” “No, it’s sweet oppa,” Taeyeon looked at Taejin’s sleeping face on the back seat “Taejin, you have a loving uncle. You’ll be happy when you grew up.” Forty minutes later, they arrived on Gunsan Airport. “Thank you for taking me to the airport, oppa. Don’t forget to pick me here tomorrow. I’ll call you later,” Taeyeon hopped off the car and took Taejin quickly. “Taeyeon, let me kiss Taejin first! Yah!” Jiwoong watched Taeyeon and just went in. “That kid. She’s a mother already yet she’s still act like a child” Taeyeon walked in Gunsan Airport happily. It’s her first outing with her baby, her Taejin. They walked nonchalantly although some people were noticing them. “Taejin, are you excited to go out with me? It’s your first airplane trip!” Taeyeon took a picture of sleeping Taejin and pinched his cheek. “Aigoo, you’re so cute. May I have your cheeks please? I’m so hungry. Don’t stare at me like that,” she then kissed Taejin’s cheek softly so Taejin didn’t wake up. One hour
