Let Me Stay

Tiffany sighed, inhaling the fragrance of Minho’s body. The masculine aroma sneaked into her nose. This is what Tiffany liked about Minho. He always smells good. She embraced Minho tighter. They cuddled on the bed sharing one blanket. “Did you just smell me, Miss Hwang?” Minho laughed absurdly. “Shhhh, quiet,” Tiffany continued smelling Minho’s body. “You always smell good. I like your aroma. What perfume do you use?” “Bvlgari Extreme. So, you love my scent? I’m flattered.” “Stop teasing me, Mr. Lee. You know I missed you so much,” Tiffany played her finger on Minho’s toned abs. “We didn’t see each other that much for almost four months. Don’t you miss me?” Minho cackled. Ever since they had a night and a good time together four months ago, Tiffany and Minho kept meeting in secret. They met frequently even though often it’s just for a moment or just for the ‘naughty’ because of their bustle. Although there’s no string attached yet in their relationship, Minho nor Tiffany didn’t try to hide their attraction to each other. “Do I miss you? Hmmm, let me think about it, maybe. A little bit,” Minho made a tiny gap between his thumb and index finger. Tiffany snorted. “You must be bored listening to this ‘I miss you’ statement. You have many girls said so to you.” “What?” “How many girls? How many girls were close to you before me?” “What are you talking about? Why are you suddenly want to know?” “Just answer my question,” Tiffany frowned. “Fine, fine,” Minho thought as if he was calculating. “Eight, maybe nine, or…” Minho felt his chest was being hit by Tiffany repeatedly. The brunette girl already pouted her lips. “What’s with that face?” Tiffany was quiet and mumbled. “Are you jealous?” “Are you stupid or what? Eight? Nine? I can’t even imagine how many girls who had been in my position before.” “Your position? Do you mean like right now? Whoa!” Minho startled and in cold when suddenly Tiffany pulled the blanket and wrapped it around her body, leaving Minho’s body . “Liar.” “C’mon Miss Hwang. Are you being mad at me right now? I’m freezing,” Minho could never bear a cold. He approached Tiffany who sat on the edge of the bed and embraced her softly. He put his chin on her shoulder. Tiffany just went along. They cuddled again in one blanket. “How can I like you?! I must’ve been crazy.” “What?” Minho couldn’t help but laughed upon Tiffany’s words. “What about you?” Tiffany lifted her face. “Me?” “Yeah, you’re an idol, singer or whatever it is. You’re the member of one of the biggest group in the world. You must be surrounded by many men. How many were your exes?” Tiffany’s face reddened. Her question became a boomerang. “Wh, why do you ask?” “Well, let’s see, because you’re asking the same thing to me?” “Men I got close to are just my oppas and fans. I haven’t been in relationship.” “Nichkhun,” Minho mentioned Nichkhun’s name gave Tiffany’s body a little electric shock. “What about him?” “I…I don’t know what you’re talking about,” Tiffany let go of Minho’s embrace, tried to avoid his gaze by drowning her face to the pillow. “Do you think I have no idea about you just because I’m Irish and not into Kpop, Miss Hwang? I did a little research. I got the information that you used to be with that Nichkhun guym, an idol too. Isn’t that correct?” “Thuauauats…joeossstt a apsaaatt,” Tiffany mumbled unclearly. “What?” Minho lifted Tiffany’s head of the pillow. Clearly her face was red hot. “I couldn’t hear you. What did you say?” Tiffany cackled. No way out. “I…I’ve ever been got in touch with him for a little while.” “Since 2010, right?” Tiffany narrowed her eyes in disbelief. “Don’t act like you know everything.” “Well my friend does know most things about you. Trust me, Miss Hwang. I know. I have a believable information source,” Minho did ask Gikwang things about Tiffany who he answered without any suspicion. “Fine, I just broke up with him two weeks before I met you in China.” “So, I’m just a rebound?” “Why are you thinking like that?” “You seem unwilling to let him go.” “Are you kidding me, Mr. Lee? He’s cheating on me! I hate him more than you ever imagine.” Minho only laughed. “You better not think that way.” “It’s not like that. It’s just if you make me your rebound and will leave me after a while,” Minho shrugged. “You will hurt me so much.” Tiffany smiled and caressed Minho’s cheek. “To be honest, I’m happy he’s cheating on me. Hadn’t he left me, I wouldn’t even meet you that day.” “Is that so? Keh,” Minho chuckled. “What about me?” “Huh?” “Am I just a doormat?” “Doormat? Where are you got that word?” Minho laughed. “Of course not, I like you.” “Then what are we?” “What?” “You and I, us. For more than four months, we’ve met each other. We even slept together. But, I still confused,” Tiffany bit her lip. “If I want to introduce you to my friends, how should I introduce you?” Minho was speechless. Honestly, Minho didn’t want to involve in such a serious relationship yet. A relationship would only tie him down. He’s been there a few times. It’s not like Minho wasn’t a faithful guy. He’s aware he was the type of man who could melt girls with his charm but if he’s already fallen for one girl, he wouldn’t take his eyes out of her no matter how beautiful other girls around him. The problem was, it’s been so long since the last time Minho really loved someone. Girls were around him mostly because of fling or crush. And they didn’t last long. But, Tiffany was different. Tiffany felt different. He might not believe in serious relationship for a long time, but if he would, maybe this Stephanie Hwang girl was the one that could make him. “Minho,” Tiffany called him, worried. “Why aren’t you answering? Are we, are we.” “I like you.” “But,” “Why you women always make me say it?” Minho sighed and then smiled. “Of course you are my girl. You’re my beautiful girl, you’re mine.” Tiffany’s face brightened instantly. She smiled absurdly. “Miss Hwang, look at your face. Is that the answer you want?” Minho embraced Tiffany in his arms. “You bet,” Tiffany was relieved, literally. “Want to have breakfast?” “Why? You’ll cook for me?” teased Minho. He knew Tiffany couldn’t cook anything complicated, “as it will happen.” “I might will. I want to cook for you. I will. Believe me,” she said. “Great. I’ll wait. You better made your promise. I better take a shower first,” Minho kissed Tiffany’s forehead and messed her hair. Then he went to bathroom. Forty five minutes later, they were already in a restaurant across Tiffany’s apartment. The restaurant was quiet. There weren’t many people that morning. “You’re eating like a baby dinosaur,” Tiffany said as she saw Minho eating his pancakes three layers at once. “Oh this? This isn’t even a main course for me. You think who swallowed my whole energy last night?” Minho grinned. “Stop it. You’re gross! We’re eating breakfast!” Tiffany couldn’t hide her nervousness. “Don’t play nice girl here, as if it affects you.” Tiffany kept eating her sandwich. “You know, my girls, SNSD. They have been asked me to introduce my boyfriend to them.” “Who?” “My boyfriend, I’ve told you they knew we’re seeing each other. And since we’ve been officially dating now, I want to take you to a proper introducing dinner with them.” “No problem by me. I can’t wait. When?” “When? As soon as possible maybe,” Tiffany’s pupils widened. “After tour. ! I totally forgot” “What?” “I just remembered. I’ve to go for SNSD world tour concert starting next week.” “Good for you. How long? I hope it won’t be long” “Actually, I have to go for about,” Tiffany seemed hesitating “Two or three.” “Two or three days? It’s faster than I thought,” Minho cut Tiffany and drank his orange juice. “Months,” Tiffany uttered. Made her man spurted his juice, Tiffany wiped Minho’s mouth with a tissue sprightly, “two until three months.” “Two or three months???” Minho took tissue from Tiffany’s hand. “That’s quite long.” “Yeah, we have to go to Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand and Malaysia. Then we’ll go to England, France, Germany, Spain, Brazil, Mexico, Canada, USA, and finally China, Japan and Seoul,” Tiffany stopped. “Well, that’s a good thing I guess. Fifteen countries you’ll be visited all over the world. You girls must have some fans out there.” “You know, tour like that was so exhausting. We only got to rest on the road, we’re rehearsing all day. We’re going to the hotel just for put our luggage. I don’t like it to be honest.” Minho chewed his pancakes as he smiled watching his redheaded girl massaged her temple. “Why did you smile? Are you happy so that you can cheat on me while I’m gone?” “What’s wrong with you, Miss Hwang? Why are you so sensitive today? You got mad at me for things I didn’t do or even think about.” “The girls in your office seem beautiful.” “What are you trying to say? What’s your point? Is this about what my colleagues said earlier?” “All of them said you were the most popular guy in your division,” Tiffany bit her sandwich hard. “And I can see it.” Minho chuckled. Tiffany did come to British Embassy to accompany her friend who wanted to make visa and Minho introduced her to his colleagues. His colleagues told Tiffany one same thing. How Minho was the most popular guy in the office. How girls gossiping over him and called him ‘dimple man’. How Minho could get close easily with all the girls. What Minho’s colleagues told her wasn’t mean anything, but it’s different when the stories came to Tiffany’s ear. She’s obviously jealous and mad. That day, Tiffany ignored Minho and put on a grumpy face all day. “You’re taking it too seriously. I might be surrounded by a lot of girls but I wasn’t that cheap,” Minho smirked. “Just you watch. If you ever…ever…ever cheating on me, I’ll punch you on the face,” Tiffany hissed. Minho pointed his head. “Over here, there are only you. There’s no room for anybody else. So how could I cheat on you when you kept running around in my head,” Minho’s sweet words carved a smile on Tiffany’s face. “I’ll miss you when you’re gone.” “Aww, baby,” Tiffany held Minho’s hand. “Did you just call me, baby?” Minho teased, again. Tiffany pulled her hand in a flash. She was really embarrassed. “No.” “You did. It’s nice, just heard the word. Baby,” Minho caressed Tiffany’s hair. “Do you mind if I call you everyday later?” “You will call me everyday?” “I might. That’s what boyfriend does right?” Minho shrugged. “Hey, can you sneak out tomorrow?” “Tomorrow?” Tiffany tried to remember. “Maybe I can. It’s just practicing, but only for a few hours. Why?” “Good. I’ll go home early tomorrow too. I want to take you out. I want you to meet my friend.” “Friend?” Tiffany muttered but Minho unwilling to explain any further. He kept eating his pancakes. Tiffany parked her car on the hotel parking spot where Minho staying. She sent a text to Minho, telling h
