12: Day by Day
[DISCONTINUED] Loved You (Before I Knew You)Luhan had been an emotional trainwreck last night. After exchanging gifts with Sehun, they helped each other slip on their engagement rings while standing in the middle of the venue. Every single move they made had been recorded and Luhan felt like he was going to thow up at one point-- when his mother started to cry as Sehun slipped the simple golden band onto his ring finger. And it wasn't even their wedding yet.
It's suffocating.
He doesn't even want to think about that yet.
But he'll have to eventually.
The following week is a very long one because he's suddenly popular. Sure, he is well known around campus and he might be semi-famous on the internet, but now he's practically a celebrity. Apparently, being engaged to South Korea's finest young man: and an exceptional business prodigy that man is, will give you that status. The attention being given to him is skyrocketing and it upsets him because now, he can't even go to his favorite coffee place or study at the library without hearing someone whisper something about him. None of them are particularly bad, but Luhan simply doesn't want to be talked about.

Post-engagement party that was the highlight in high-class Korean society, their relationship is now talked about as much as Luhan's relationship with Sehun is. Luhan was worried and texted Sehun to take Soojung out on a date that Monday, but Sehun didn't reply so he assumed that the older was busy.
After school his mother would call him or invite him out for dinner and they would talk about the wedding preparations. After Luhan's birthday, they would get really busy preparing for the wedding and knowing this made Luhan anxious. His mother had drilled some concepts into his head too: what his life would be like after he got married to Sehun. There are so many duties, obligations; so many things he needs to learn and be familiar with. He busies himself with his schoolwork, opting to try and shut everyone and everything else out because he doesn't think he's ready for that sort of life. But every single morning after pulling an all-nighter and dragging himself out of his bed, there would be steaming coffee and a delicious pastry waiting for him on his dining table. On Wednesday, there was even a box of his favorite chocolates sitting right next to his breakfast. And everytime he notices the food for him, there's this small voice inside his head that's telling him
