Since young, Hyukjae has always been there for Donghae. All the falls, the heartbreaks. Hyukjae has always been there to heal the wounds. Hyukjae will always remember that winter, the young them. But it has never changed, the love between them. Never. 

Hyukjae closes his eyes and he sees two young boys running through the open fields, running across muddy roads, across a world that seems to be theirs, and theirs only. Hyukjae remembers of the promises he made. The promises he vowed to never break. 

As he holds the younger boy in his arms on a winter night, he promises to accompany him through everything. Like he always has. Even if this is his last journey.

Hyukjae enters the room, silently looking at the younger male quietly writing on a piece of paper. When he hears a few sniffles, he walks over, gently caressing the pale cheeks. 
"What are you doing?" Hyukjae asks gently, running his fingers through the thinned hair. 
"I'm making a list."
"A list of?"
"The things I want to do with you, before I die."
Hyukjae looks at the tear stained piece of paper. It's filled with numbers and letters. He takes a deep breath and blinks back his tears. Gently caressing the tear stained face in front of him, looking at him with the same gaze as when they first met twenty years ago. 

"I'll do everything with you, like I always have."
