“You two know each other?”

Yoona and Yuri nodded their heads at the same time.

“Why wouldn’t they know each other? They’re cousins. This ert delivery girl works for the owner.”

“I’m not a ert!”

“Oh my god, Jessica! She was the one who saw you earlier today?!”

“Yup.”

“Wow, you’re so lucky. She’s gorgeous.”

“You bet!”

Yoona and Yuri were completely lost when Tiffany and Jessica were winking at each other. Yoona turned to Yuri and smacked her forehead.

“OW!”

“Where did you go just now?”

“I was dragged away by her!”

Yuri pointed to Jessica.

“And you cannot inform me?”

“I didn’t have time. I was so stunned when she pulled me into her car. Talking about ert, she’s more ert than I am!”

“Whatever you say, honey. You saw me .”

“And so?”

“You have to bear responsibility!”

“You’re not pregnant and you can never be!”

“Why can’t I?”

“I didn’t touch you!”

“Well, you saw me . That’s my dignity!”

“Yoona, are you not going to say anything?!”

Yuri gave up on Jessica and turned to her cousin for help. Her cousin was at loss herself.

“Well, technically, she’s right. You did violate her dignity.”

“Are you kidding me?!”

“Okay, let’s settle this. Why don’t you date Jessica?”

Yuri, Yoona and Jessica turned to look at Tiffany.

“What? You cannot marry. So why not date?”

“Who is this woman?!”

“Easy, Yuri. She’s another customer of ours.”

“Do you have fate with weird customers, Yoona? And why would one come for a dog’s birthday party?!”

“It’s a wedding.”

“Tiffany, you’re getting married?!”

“No, Jess. Prince is.”

“What?”

“I’m going bonkers, seriously.”

“Count me in, Yuri.”

“Tiffany, you’re getting weird by the minute.”

“What?! Dogs cannot marry?!”

And the argument went on and on.

“Why are we here?”

Yuri was still in confusion while Yoona was a little bit calmer than she was before. The wedding ceremony finally happened and everybody was gathering around. It was a little weird but Yoona found it cute with the two dogs wearing a tuxedo and a wedding gown for the occasion.

“That poor dog is suffering.”

“Oh come one, she looks cute in it.”

“The dogs won’t even remember about this wedding?!”

“Why are you so being today?”

“It’s a horrible day for me. I dirtied my eyes by that woman and now I’m in a middle of wedding ceremony for dogs, not humans.”

“It might be weird but let’s just try to blend in and enjoy.”

“I cannot. The gumiho descendants are staring at us.”

Yoona looked up and understood what Yuri meant by that. She was spooked by them earlier on too. One of them was already making eyes at Yuri.

“Yoona, save me!”

“I cannot even save myself; how am I supposed to save you?!”

“Where’s Jessica?”

“Ah, now you’re looking for her?”

“She’s the only one who can save me!”

“I thought you hate her guts.”

“I’m beginning to hate you now.”

“Don’t worry, she has been keeping an eye on you since just now.”

“What?”

“She has been watching you. She’s coming over now.”

“Okay, my saviour is here. How about you?”

“Don’t worry; Tiffany’s coming along with her.”

Yuri turned to find Tiffany and Jessica purposely diverted the other girls’ attention away from them and Jessica pointed to the kitchen. The two girls then gradually made their way towards Yuri and Yoona. Yuri waited for Jessica to speak up while Yoona just stared blankly at Tiffany.

“Sorry, we had to leave you two alone. Don’t worry; the girls won’t come near you anymore.”

“Oh? Why is that so?”

“We told them you two are our girlfriends.”

“You what?!”

“It’s not really a bad thing right, Yuri?”

“Who is my supposed girlfriend?”

Jessica grinned at Yuri.

“Me, obviously!”

“NOOOOOOOOOO!”

“So, I’m Tiffany’s girlfriend?”

Yoona finally got the idea too.

“Yeah, do you mind?”

“Huh?”

“I really like you a lot since I saw you at the bakery. I thought you were wonderful.”

Yoona was stunned for a moment.

“How could you tell others that I’m your girlfriend?”

Yuri was still fuming mad.

“You have to take responsibility!”

“This is my responsibility?!”

“Nobody has seen me .”

Yuri stared at Jessica curiously.

“You have a great body with nice curves and everything.  I’m sure you have dated before.”

“Yes, I’ve dated but nothing about dating that requires me to strip.”

“Oh, it doesn’t lead to that?”

“When I say you’re a ert, I’m not lying about it.”

“Most dates do end up in stripping and sleeping with each other!”

“Do you do that often?”

“Me? I haven’t dated anyone before.”

“LIAR!”

“I swear! I’m a country girl!”

“Yuri, are you ing kidding me?”

“I came to Seoul to work with Yoona. I have never dated before.”

“Not even with guys?”

Yuri shook her head innocently. Jessica was surprised. Yuri has the looks and the body for any guy or even a girl to swoon over.

“You have never fallen in love before?”

Jessica asked again. Yuri shrugged her shoulders and made her way to the bench. The two girls were outside of Tiffany’s house. Yuri couldn’t stand being in the house with Gyuri kept wanting to touch her or feel her way around Yuri’s body. So Jessica put a stop to it and dragged Yuri out of the house.

So the two girls were sitting on the bench next to the BBQ pit. Luckily it wasn’t a cold night.

“I fell in love once but it didn’t really happen.”

“Oh? You fell in love just once and you gave it up?”

“I didn’t give up on love. I just merely put it aside. I came to Seoul to work after finished my college.”

“What did you graduate with?”

“I’ve graduated with a degree in Sports. Supposedly I should be a national swimmer.”

“Then why didn’t you?”

“I couldn’t be in the same place with the person I loved and her partner together.”

“Wait, her?”

Yuri rolled her eyes at Jessica.

“You know I’m not straight, right?”

“Not really, I was just trying my luck. So you like girls.”

“What a way of dishing out people’s secrets.”

“I’m awesome like that.”

“Jessica, you’re still evil to me.”

“Whatever.”

Yuri let out a soft chuckle much to Jessica’s surprise. She turned to face Yuri who was staring into the night sky. The stars were bright tonight.

“Honestly, I think you’re pretty. I mean, I was really surprised to find you in front of me.”

“So you like what you saw?”

“Stop grinning like that. You’re creepy.”

“I have already declared that I like you.”

Yuri snapped her head towards Jessica.

“Wait, that’s your confession?”

Jessica nodded.

“I thought you were joking!”

“I thought you understood.”

“You’re seriously weird, Jessica!”

“Oh come on, I just need to know the truth from you.”

“What?”

“Do you like me?”

Yuri was bewildered.

“Sorry about my friends causing such a ruckus earlier on.”

“It’s fine. I’m okay. It’s just that Yuri’s uncomfortable.”

“She’s not straight?”

“Huh?”

“You should know what I mean.”

“Oh, I’m not really sure about that. But I think it’s not because of that either. She’s just uncomfortable with strangers.”

“Ah, I see.”

Tiffany and Yoona were sitting on the high chairs in the kitchen. They were drinking wine; the party in the living room was still roaring loudly.

“So, your dog is married. Are you still going to have him stay with you?”

“Yeah, he’s staying with me.”

“And the female dog?”

“She’s staying with me as well. The owner lives together with me.”

“Oh, I see.”

From what Yoona could remember, the owner of the female dog is a guy.

“So you’re dating the owner too?”

Tiffany almost spilled her wine.

“What?”

“He’s staying with you.”

“Oh, he is but he’s not my boyfriend.  He can never be my boyfriend.”

Yoona frowned.

“I’m gay, Yoona. I don’t like guys, I like girls.”

“Oh.”

“Are you feeling uncomfortable?”

“No, not at all. I’m just curious.”

“Why are you curious?”

“You look heteroual.”

“What?”

Tiffany laughed.

“Is that a compliment?”

“You can take it that way.”

“Yoona, are you heteroual too?”

Yoona smiled before lifting her glass up. She took the last gulp and put the wine glass onto the table. She then turned to face the living from where she stood. She could see the gumihos’ descendants were jumping wildly with the songs.

“I’m not sure. I like a girl before but it didn’t go well.”

“You dated before?”

“We were together for almost 5 years but she chose to go the other way.”

“Oh?”

“She got married with one of my best friends – a guy.”

“That’s really shucks.”

Yoona nodded but maintained a smile.

“I don’t bear a grudge against her nor do I hate her for hurting me like that. She has the choice. She picked the right choice.”

“And you have not seen anyone else after that?”

“I don’t know if I can fall in love again. It’s just too difficult and tiring for me to do so.”

Tiffany nodded and just stared at Yoona. She wasn’t too sure if Yoona was pre-empting about her feelings and she was feeling discouraged by Yoona’s confession.

“So you’re telling me you don’t want to love anymore?”

“Maybe.”

“So you’re going to give up just like that?”

Yoona shrugged her shoulders and Tiffany hunched her back. She was feeling a little dejected with Yoona’s reaction towards love. But she wasn’t going to give up just as yet.

“Do you think I can make you fall in love with me?”

Yoona stared at her.

“I mean it. I really like you. I just need to know if you would give me a chance to win your heart over.”

Yoona was baffled.
