Because this story was on hiatus for quite some time, I didn't remember what POV I wrote in, so the first part is in first POV and the rest will be in third.
If a conversation/dialogue is in teal, it's in English (:
Teal is also for flashbacks.
The story was on hiatus for a while, so it might seem a little bit rough in the beginning (because the plot has slightly changed) but it will get better, I promise! :D
Foreword
Hyun Ae rolled her luggage outside to meet her best friend Eun Mi. Hopefully she's already there. I don't want to stand and look dumb.
"YAH! Over here!"
Hyun Ae turned and looked frantically for the source of the voice. She saw a familiar face walk towards her. Eun Mi.
"Eun Mi! I missed you!"
"Are you retarded or something?! You're in Korea now, you don't need to speak English!"
She hugged squeezed my best friend. The two haven't seen each other in years. Hyun Ae would be staying with Eun Mi at her condo because her family was still in America and she wanted to go house-hunting on her own, not have her parents just provide her with everything. This was her shot at independence.
"CAN'T. BREATHE!"
"Sorry! Kekeke I guess I've missed you too much."
"Tch, I didn't."
Hyun Ae playfully slapped her shoulder.
"YAH! Are you trying to kill me? First you prevent oxygen from entering my body, then now you slap me? What's up with that?"
"You're messed up! You know what let's just get this over with and go home. I am tired. Seriously."
"It's 6:00 PM."
"I'm so jet lagged that I don't care at the moment. Can I have some sleep pleeease," Hyun Ae begged.
"Aissh, whatever."
The ride was pretty akward and silent. A song was playing on the radio, but Hyun Ae wasn't listening. She was too busy looking out the window.
Oh, Korea. I left so many memories behind. So many experiences, friends, jerks.
JERK. That one word stuck out at her. It was as if it appeared in big, bold letters. JERK.

For the first few DAYS, he called and talked to me like nothing happened between him and some hoe. Then he found out that I found out. And he was all like, "Yeobo! Jeongmal mianhae!" and all the sugarcoated crap. AS IF. AS IF I WAS GOING TO BELIEVE HIM.
