"And you say I'm the lunatic?"

"I'll give you one this round, he did cheat. That was very ballsy."

"Exactly, I told Sooyoung before to never go on and marry that foreigner. All signs screamed 'stop!' 'go back!' 'no good!' 'dead end!'."

"Well don't sound so happy about it."

"I was right though."

"Well, at least she didn't have relations with Jongdae at the ball."

"Tiffany was drunk and stupid, Sooyoung was sober, full aware, and still continued the relationship so she can continue to come off looking perfect for us, now that's stupid."

"Maybe she didn't want us to worry."

"She didn't have to hide it from us Cho. We are her best friends, I would've had a heartfelt conversation with her anytime."

"Like you did with Seohyun when she told us she may be pregnant?"

"Well that was different. I had to give her tough love, she was too young for a child."

"I suppose so... Well I've got to go, I'll see you tonight at the new years eve party?"

"You won't miss me."

"Goodbye now."

"Goodbye."

"Who was that honey?"

Chorong jumped a little to her husband's presence. "Oh, that was just Jessica."

Baekhyun nodded, rubbing in the rest of his moisturizer in his hands. "Will she be at the new years eve party tonight?"

Chorong nodded her head. "As far as I know, everyone seems to be going."

"Um, Cho."

"Yes Baekhyun?"

Baekhyun sighed, pacing a little before sititng down next to his wife.

"I don't... I don't think I will be... going, to the party tonight." He managed to say.

Chorong frowned in confusion. "W-why not? Baekhyun you've been waiting for this party since Christmas Eve, it's all you've ever talked about since, I-"

"I know how this seems, but I just don't, gosh how do I say this.. I don't, feel right going."

"What do you mean?"

Baekhyun sighed once more, tangling his hands together as he leaned forward. "I don't want you to worry for me, because I truly am fine, but... there is some things I've been thinking about lately, bad things."

"Like what Baekhyun?"

He paused a moment, like he was re-living a scenario in his mind. "I've dreamt, multiple times about.. dying at the new years eve party." Chorong opened to speak, but only to get caught off by Baekhyun standing to his feet so quickly.

"Please don't worry about me, it was truly just a series of bad nightmares is all. I want you to go to this party tonight and have fun okay?"

"But Baekhyun-"

"Chorong it's one night to have fun with all of your girl friends in one place for once, and I don't want you to miss that, you've talked about seeing them for ages." He spoke almost frantically as he paced back and forth.

"Baekhyun I-"

"Chorong please.. don't miss out on this party for me, I-I'll be fine, I'll take my meds and have a rest tonight." He stopped pacing, facing his wife who was still sitting on the bed.

"Baekhyun. It's just a party, I can stay with you."

Baekhyun shook his head quickly, going back to sit next to her. "That's what I don't want you to do, I don't like you taking care of me when something so simple as a bad dream affects me."

"Well if this bad dream, or dreams affects you so much to a point where you do not want to attend this party, I have yet to belive I need to take care of my husband."

"You do not have to, that is what I am implying here."

Chorong shook her head softly, placing her hand in his. "So stubborn." She mumbled, closing her eyes for a breif moment before opening them again.

"I can go to Siwon for therapy. He's the best in Seoul."

For a moment, Chorong looked at her husband as if she were in disbelief. "To this moment, I question why you don't want my help."

Baekhyun opened up his mouth to say something, but was instantly cut off. "But, if you think this will help you..then please Baekhyun, get the help."

Baekhyun almost gasped in relief as his wife, for the first time, let him handle his own problem on his own. She was always so helpful, it was almost impossible for her to let a situation go.

"Thank you." He spoke, grabbing a light hold of the sides of her head, kissing her fourhead.

He smiled, glancing over her face one last time. "Now please go and enjoy the party with your friends. Only have this once in a while."

Chorong nodded her head, rolling her eyes a little. "I will, I will." She said in her usual soft and safe voice. "I'll get going now?" He asked more of than said.

She nodded, giving him a reasuring facial expression. "Be okay out there." She spoke as he swung on his coat and forced his thin fingers into his gloves.

"I'll make sure of it."

"And so it begins!" Kibum shouts joyfully with clasped hands as he enters the doorway of my bedroom. "Well Jongin, it's finally here. The night of all nights, the party of all parties!...." He paused, looking up at the ceiling diagnoly as his arms spread wide. "Isn't it amazing?" He finished, looking at me with an adoring smile.

I couldn't help but chuckle at my elder. He was, out of all of us, the most excited for the dreadful year of 1949 to end. I had to say, he wasn't the only one. I too was ready for a new begining. Clean slates were always so good to me.

"I'm sure the party will match your excitement hyung." I replied.

He sat on the edge of my bed, gliding his hands against my gold silk sheets. "It better be. Hell, I've suffered enough stress and despair from this year." I snickered as I finished to lace my Blue Suede dress shoes. The dark color truly matched beautifully with my all white suit.

"Let's have fun tonight. We will only get this night once you know." I commented, watching my elder stand to his feet and slick his hair back. "Yes, lets." He replied, straightening out his pant legs.

"Where in the hell are these fools?" He asked, breaking out of our conversation. I smiled to myself as I heard my dearest friend bicker as he exited my room, faintly yelling for our friends and my brother.

"Well you don't have to yell!" I heard such a familiar voice shout as it inched closer toward my room's area. "Jongin, we have to get going. Kibum is shouting at everyone." Sehun spoke, earning a nod from my end.

"Let's have some fun."

9:30 p.m.

"Ladies! Gentlemen! You've made it." As almost usual, Tiffany had greeted us upon our arrival, smiling with both her eyes and teeth as she saw our faces.

"Happy New Year's eve Tiffany." Kris spoke, smiling warmly at the buzzed woman in front of him.

She raised her glass of red wine toward the group in front of her. "Same to all of you."

"Ah, well, we're going to go greet everyone we can in the mean time." Kris clasped his hands. "You enjoy your night Fany." She smiled, almost making herself fall as she stepped out of our way. You'd think we were a group of famous people.

"Will do! Three and half more hours!" She nearly shouted, referring to the time left remaining until the new year had appared.

"Will the girl ever be sober?" Sehun asked, earning a laugh from Kibum.

"Don't be so judgemental, she has her fun when it's needed." Chanyeol commented, smirking a bit as we walked.

"Well, well, well. If it isn't the gang of the night." The average height male that stopped himself in front of us, smiled, nodding his up to our group. I couldn't help but sigh. Jongdae.

"Good evening Jongdae." Key spoke through a sigh and an eye roll, causing Sehun to choke up a small giggle.

"Kibum, I see Arisa is still with you after such a long time. I wonder, how much money does a man like you have to have to have such a woman like that on his arm." Jondae smirks at his own comment, as if were the best thing he has said since he learned how to speak.

"Ah, Jongdae. I see that Tif

Chapter 46: Okay so I have read all of the chapters but, tbh, I couldn't put every single hint in the story altogether. I don't have any idea as to what this story will lead on. Everything is making me so puzzled. Its hard to decipher what is going on in the story, like, what did actually happen to Jongin? What is it the thing that always getting Chanyeol worked up everytime Jongin's issue is being brought up ? And not to forget his friends that always assumes Jongin is crazy whenever he's acting weird . Then there's a patient named Luhan that seemed like he has known Jongin beforehand being all mysterious himself. And he said in the previous chapters that actually Jongin is the one who is in mentally sickness not the otherwise. And how about Sarang's dreams about Jongin's death? Is that kind of inkling feelings about what will happen in the future?. What's the most getting me curious even more is the room number 228 being related to Jongin.....

I hope you will soon unravel it because I'm so confused now........

Chapter 8: Okay so I have a question now...is Kai's surname Kim or Park? I got confused on here, since Sarang called him first as Mr.Park then latter on she called him Mr.Kim . So which's one exactly? :/
