Junmyeon approached the pet store counter, nervous not only because he was getting his first puppy (an adorable little corgi he’d already decided to name Baekhyun) but also because the boy behind the counter was HOT. Junmyeon had been coming to this pet store on and off for a few weeks, learning about breeds and what they needed before he finally made a decision. And Hakyeon had been there every step of the way, bright smiles and enthusiastic descriptions of the different breeds. 

As Junmyeon rung up his purchase of the tiny puppy and all the starter items he would need for his home, Hakyeon looked at him, smile almost frozen on his face, like there was something wrong.

"Are you feeling ok, Hakyeon-hyung?" Junmyeon asked, his regret over never asking the man on a date squeezing his heart.

Hakyeon startled, and flushed. He mulled over his answer for a moment, “The sfhop won’t be the same, you know, without little Baekhyunnie here.”

"You can come visit him any time you want!" Junmyeon blurted out and he flushed hard, ears a bright red as he realized how that sounded, offering a stranger access to his home. "I mean, if you, if you wanted to." 

Hakyeon’s smile was brigher than the sun. “I’d love to.”
