Xiuhan 2
I've Never Believed in Forever“You need to wake up because I can’t do this without you.” Minseok said quietly to Lu Han’s sleeping form. Sleeping was a lose term for it anyway. Lu Han had more wires and tubes attached to him than Minseok had ever seen. Being in the ICU was nothing like what it looked like on TV. Lu Han was pale and still, face abnormally swollen and tinted, which the nurse had assured him was typical from the fluids Lu Han was receiving from the IV. Minseok tried not to look at the IV pole too long, there were just so many bags attached.
“Please Han, please wake up.” Minseok said again as he wrapped his fingers around Lu Han’s free hand, no IVs or ports presently attached. The skin was bruised where Lu Han had tried to shield his face from the crazed fan who’d hit him.
Hit him over the head with an actual shield The security at the event had allowed the fan through because it looked like part of their cosplay for the movie, but no, it was a real ing shield and had bashed in part of Lu Han’s head and he was unconscious now for 72 hours.
“Show me you can hear me, squeeze my fingers, please,” Minseok pleaded, his eyes starting to water.
Nothing, no response from Lu Han. The machines continued to beep and hum around him, the ventilator pushing air in and out of his lungs.
Minseok flopped his head down on the bed next to Lu Han’s thigh. This could not be happening.
