Epilogue

Husbands With Benefits

So, a couple of you asked for a epilogue and a bunch more asked for a sequel. I'm sorry guys, I can't write a sequel for this because sequels are never as good as the original to me. Please understand where I'm coming from with this, but I'll at least give you an epilogue for you to enjoy one last JongYu moment for this story. Sound good? Good.

It turned out that the girl Jinki had spoken to on the phone that one time he called Jonghyun was Krystal, a hoobae that was convinced Jonghyun and her were a thing. Jonghyun had told Jinki about it as soon as he agreed to marry the younger again, and Jinki couldn't help but laugh because he himself had forgotten about it.

When they had gotten home hand in hand, Jinki was assaulted again by Kibum, though this time the younger had an ice pack and wasn't ready to pounce at the elder. When Jonghyun announced that they were getting married, the expressions on all the males' faces were priceless.

"You're already married." Woohyun said, his head slightly tilted in confusion because he was sure that they couldn't get married again after already being married.

"We're going to say our vows again." Jinki informed him, rubbing the back of his head while avoiding the hand Kibum was using to press the ice pack against the elder's skin.

"Now we have to plan for two weddings?" Taemin groaned and Jinki could barely contain his laughter at the question because it must have been hard for them all to survive with Kibum's constant fussing over his own wedding.

"I'll handle all of the preparations." Jonghyn assured him with a teasing wink, squeezing Jinki's hand gently as he spoke. In return, Jinki only rolled his eyes, before his eyes met Kibum's.

The younger had suddenly jumped forward and grabbed his arm excitedly, "We can live together just like old times. What do you say, Jinx?"

Jinki pretended to think about it for a moment and quickly pulled his arms back, escaping the room as fast as he could, "I'm hungry."

"Kim Jinki!" Kibum was running after him, and with a yelp, Jinki found himself running to stay out of Kibum's reach while the other four watched on laughing. It went on for half an hour before Woohyun tugged a livid Kibum out of the front door with Minho and Taemin trailing off after them to give the elder couple time to themselves.

The second they had all left, Jinki let out a deep sigh of relief and walked into the kitchen, slowly pouring himself a mug of coffee. As he poured his well needed coffee into a mug, Jonghyun's arms wrapped around his waist, and Jinki smiled at the sensation of Jonghyun's gentle lips against the back of his neck.

"I love you." The younger would say it after every kiss, and his lips pressed against Jinki's skin repeatedly. It broke Jinki's heart again because the elder knew why he was doing that and it reminded Jinki that it was all his fault.

Abandoning his coffee, Jinki turned around and pulled the younger into a kiss that had them both gasping when it ended. Jinki's fingers fumbled as he cupped the young male's face in his hands, and a small smile lit his face, "I won't leave you, Kim Jonghyun."

That seemed to erase all the doubt Jonghyun was holding on to, and the younger pulled him back for another kiss, "I won't let you."

Two months later was Woohyun and Kibum's wedding, and Jinki and Jonghyun's official ceremony took place only a few weeks after. Nothing had gone wrong with either wedding, and Jinki thought Kibum was positively beaming at the end of his special day, and Jinki's former jealousy was replaced with pride.

He'd once thought his life was going to be completely empty and useless, and that he'd never find the happiness Kibum seemed to find in Woohyun. That, of course, was before he met Kim Jonghyun.

As they stood side by side in front of the altar, Jinki couldn't help but remember every moment he spent with Jonghyun. From his anger, to his growing confusion, to his never ending love, it was all because of Jonghyun. Jonghyun, who barged into his life one night at a club, stormed into his apartment like he owned the place, and broke down every one of his guarded walls. It was that male he would be marrying in front of so many guests and cameras that would stream their ceremony to all of the fans that wanted to see it.

When they had gotten back together officially, Jonghyun had called a press conference and openly told everyone about his marriage to Kim Jinki. At first, he lost fans like they'd all expected him to, but his fanclub suddenly skyrocketed and the fans demanded that they be allowed to see the ceremony, since it was just them saying their vows to each other.

Of course, just because they were saying vows didn't make it any less stressfull, and Jinki found himself hyperventilating before the ceremony began. It wasn't like he was regretting his decision to marry Jonghyun... well, they were already married, so it was kind of too late to regret it at that point, anyway. Instead, he found himself panicking because what if he ended up being a terrible husband? What if Jonghyun decided he wasn't worth it anymore and suddenly left?

Taemin, who had been trying to calm him down seemed at a loss as he watched the elder pace and hyperventilate, but Jinki didn't notice him slipping out of the room. Not a minute later, Jonghyun was holding him and rubbing his back, telling him to calm down and that he loved the elder, and that he should just pretend it was the two of them alone. Nothing could erase the situation from Jinki's heart, no matter what he was told, but all that mattered was that he was being held by Jonghyun and everything magically slowed down enough for him to at least think properly.

They walked into the altar together, hand in hand, and Jinki could just see his parents in tears, because they had quickly grown to like Jonghyun, and even Kibum was crying up in the front row. Jinki mentally reminded himself to kick Kibum, because he was acting like he never expected Jinki to cry at all. Minho and Taemin were sitting by him and Woohyun, their own hands locked together as they stared on in envy. Jinki had a feeling it wouldn't be too long before the wedding bells chimed again.

Jinki and Jonghyun didn't separate at all throughout the ceremony, or even later on in the reception. They kept holding hands like that was all they could do, even when they were approached by their company president, who apologized for having separated them at all. They brushed it off, of course, since they weren't going to let go again.

It was only figurative, of course, since they eventually had to let go of each other's hands to get into their bedroom that night. Their hands weren't holding anymore, but busy touching and undressing and loving because they weren't a secret anymore, and they weren't fake anymore.

The morning after their second first night, Jinki found himself curled around Jonghyun without any pillows separating them and when he looked at Jonghyun's smooth skin, his lips smirked as a plan etched into his head. He looked to see if Jonghyun was awake first and then brushed his lips against the younger's neck before biting down, hearing a surprised gasp escape Jonghyun's lips.

Jonghyun grabbed his face and pushed him away, his eyebrows furrowing and his lips curving into an amused yet confused smile, "What type of wake up was that?"

"The type you used on me repeatedly." Jinki tried to keep his expression neutral and even a little uncaring, but he knew he was smiling, and then Jonghyun was attacking his face with sloppy wet kisses that had him shoving the younger desperately even as he laughed, "What are you doing?"

"That will teach you to wake me up like that." Jonghyun said with a playful grin as he pulled away, and with his eyes narrowed back, Jinki pretended to lean in to bite him again. The younger started to laugh, then, and Jinki stopped to watch, his eyes taking in the beauty of the silver male laying beside him. After realizing the elder wasn't also laughing, Jonghyun slowly looked up at Jinki to see his focused, soft grin, and stilled.

They didn't need to say anything, because they knew exactly what the other was trying to say, and their hands slowly reached out to intertwine as they pulled each other closer. Without wasting another moment, their lips met and Jinki realized something.

He didn't know what the future would hold in store for them, but as long as they were together, it didn't matter.
