I woke up. Rubbing my eyes, I sat up and looked around. Jongdae was lying down beside me, sleeping rather peacefully. I took a good look at him. It was then I realised how good looking he was. He had high cheekbones and the sides of his mouth were very pretty. Then I laughed, realising that despite his handsome face, he sort of looked like a camel and a dinosaur as well.

Apparently, I was a little too loud because Jongdae stirred in his sleep. Suddenly, his eyes fluttered open and he stared right at me.

" Good morning, " he smiled as he slowly sat up, combing his hair gently with his fingers.

" Nice hair, " I commented.

" Thanks, I grew them myself, " Jongdae smirked.

I rolled my eyes. I got off the bed and headed towards the bathroom. On my way there, I checked the time. It was 4.26pm. 

" ! " I heard Jongdae yell as he dashed out of my room.

I looked at him puzzledly. He then explained to me that he was suppose to meet his parents at five for some family bonding thing.

" Can I come? " I asked.

He shook his head, " You can't. They don't know about you yet. "

" What is there to know about me? "

" Um. As in, they know you exist but.. Ah nevermind I need to go," Jongdae said in a hurry.

He grabbed my hand and pulled me towards the door of my apartment. He then said bye and gave me a tight squeeze before leaving.

I tried to figure out what Jongdae was trying to say right before he left the house but I couldn't help but misunderstand the situation. I ran to my room, picked up my handphone and texted Jongdae, asking whether he wanted to meet up later in the day.

Almost immediately, I got a reply. He said that he wouldn't be able to make it in time. I sighed. What was this kid? Just yesterday he snuck into my room at 2 in the morning and now he tells me he wouldn't be able to make it in time. I told him it was okay and went off to the bathroom to wash up.
 

In the evening, I had a sudden craving for ice cream. So I headed to the same convenience store Jongdae and I had gone to the night before to buy one. The weather was getting colder and colder.

After making the purchase, I stepped out of the store and looked into the plastic bag that I was given. I had unknowingly bought two packets of ice cream. I c
