" Are you really doing this again? " I heard Jongdae sigh behind the door, a note of frustration in his voice.

" How did you get into my house?? " I shouted from inside my room, feeling rather flustered.

" How did you think I got in the last time? "

" Can you not answer my question with another question? "

" Heh. I'll only tell you if you come out. "

I groaned. Jongdae was being so diffi-

" Stop being so difficult, " Jongdae asserted.

I gasped in disbelief. " Why are you here? "

" Cos you weren't picking up my calls and I miss you and - "

I swung the door open. Jongdae let out a soft sigh as I met eyes with him. I sulked, realising that my attempt at avoiding him had backfired. 

Jongdae folded his arms as he leaned against the wall, grinning at me.

" Yeah, I know. Too handsome for you to resist, " he smirked.

I rolled my eyes. Shouldn't have opened the door. Then again, I could never ever say no to Jongdae anyway. I looked down at my feet, staring at them as I frowned slightly. Jongdae laughed as he grabbed my wrist, pulling me towards to kitchen. My heart skipped a beat at the sudden skinship. I pressed my lips together into a frown, trying not to look excited. Jongdae sneaked a glance at me and suddenly, he let go. I uncontrollably let out a whine.

" Wait, can I just ask you something? " he asked, turning to look at me.

I nodded, embarrased. 

" Do you want me to hold your hand or not? " he probed, seemingly confused.

I looked back at him, puzzled as well. Why was he asking me this? Should I just..? Yeah okay let me just-

" Do you like me or not? " I asked him, mentally preparing myself for rejection ( if it were to happen, of course ).

" Can you not answer my question with another question? "

" My question is more important, " I replied, matter-of-factly.

" Yeah. " 

" Yeah my question is more important? "

" As in… Yeah I like you. "

" I didn't mean it as friends, you know, " I said, feeling a little bit braver.

" I know. I like you. " Jongdae replied, looking away.

" Then what's with the best friend thing with Minseok? " 

" It was the wrong way to confess. "

" Then is this the right way? "

" Righter than the previous situation, " Jongdae shrugged.

" Okay. Yes. Hold it now, " I smiled, extending my hand out as I answered his question.

He took it, coughing awkwardly. 

" You like me too, right? " he asked, still looking away from me. I nodded stupidly, making Jongdae repeat his question in a more awkward tone than before. I cupped the left side of his face with my free hand, changing the orientation of his head so that he would be able to look at me in the eye. Yeah I know, I could have just replied out loud but why do that when skinship ermagerd. ( Sorry. )

" I brought you stuff to eat, " he muttered, a smile playing on the edge of his lips.

My mouth formed the shape of an O and I darted towards the kitchen, only to be stopped by Jongdae. I looked up at him, confused.

" Can I hold your hand for at least a minute before you like, leave me for food? " he pouted, his eyes boring into mine.

" W-We can go there together, " I stammered like an idiot, taking an involuntary step back.

In response, Jongdae leaned towards me, a smirk playing across his lips. We were barely a few centimetres apart. I bit my bottom lip nervously. One moment he's pouting at me like a cute puppy; the next he's so attractive I couldn't look away even if I wanted to. 

" What's wrong? Am I that irresistable? " he teased, coming closer with every word.

Normally, I would have rolled my eyes, but now I found myself unable to express any emotions near annoyance. And I couldn't even back either. I bent my body awkwardly as I turned away from him. Where did he even learn
