For the next few days I stayed at home alone, drowning myself in dramas, variety shows and music. I told Jongdae and Minseok that I went for a short holiday so that they wouldn't you know, sneak into my room in the middle of the night or something. I walked to the kitchen and opened the fridge. After a few seconds of looking, I concluded that there was nothing left to eat. I groaned as I picked up my handphone and wallet, heading towards the front door.

After pulling the door open, I shouted.

" I KNEW IT, " Jongdae shouted back.

" DUDE YOU SCARED THE OUT OF ME. I OPENED THE DOOR AND YOU- "

" Are you avoiding me? "

I shook my head.

" Then why did you lie? "

" I didn't. I was just leaving, " I said.

Jongdae raised an eyebrow, " Yeah, while you're in your pajamas. "

" Why not? " I smiled awkwardly at him.

Jongdae grabbed my wrist and dragged me to my living room. He then turned around and looked me in the eye.

" What's wrong? " Jongdae asked.

" Nothing, " I said casually, smiling and hoping that he'd just let it go.

Jongdae sighed and scraped his hair back in frustration. I felt a pang of guilt. But what was I suppose to do anyway? Tell him that I was confused because of him and Minseok? Ask him if he liked me? Hell no, I knew better than to make things awkward.

" You hungry? " I asked as I grinned at him like an idiot, willing for him to cheer up.

He nodded while looking at the floor. I went into my room to change. When I was done, I held his hand and led him out of my apartment, heading to the chinese restaurant we both knew he liked.

Jongdae really was not lying when he said he was hungry. He slurped down a bowl of jjajangmeon in three minutes flat. I stared at him in awe.

" What? And tell me what's wrong, " Jongdae said, wiping his mouth with a napkin.

I shrugged and Jongdae stared at me.
