"Ding… Dong"

Jessica wiped her hand with kitchen paper and walked to the door to answer the caller.

She immediately opened the door when she saw the one who is standing in front of her dorm door was none other than her one and only sister krystal with puffy red eyes, running nose and rosy cheek.

“Unnie” she was hugged at once the door open.

“Shh….. Unnie’s here, what’s wrong baby” she patted her sobbing sister.

“Am….Amber….” as soon as the name escaped her sister mouth, ‘not again’ Jessica groaned in her mind.

 In the living room

Jessica wiped her little sister’s remnant tears with tissue and whom immediately clanged to her arm and leaned on her shoulder as soon as they sat on the couch.

“Let me guess, the same old reason” she asked

She felt the nod on her shoulder.

 “then my seobang will come home late, probably drunk” Jessica said after the long heaving sight.

“Unnie, can I stay here for a little time period?” krys asked.

“Of course, baby. As long as you want” she answer immediately.

 “so you are cool down I guess, what happened this time though” Jessica ask

Krystal pov

Flash back to this early evening

“Baby, there’s not enough glossary left, I will go down to buy some, ok” I said to amber who is currently busy with her laptop.

“wait I will go with you” amber replied and stood up to go with me

“No, I will go alone, you finish your work, I don’t want to stay late because of your work. Besides the store is just at the ground floor and I will come back quickly immediately after the purchase” she refuse

“But”

“no but, I won’t take long, stay and finish your work ok” I cut her sentence

“just don’t take long, ok. It’s getting dark outside. And I don’t want you to be alone in the elevator with some stranger” amber said worry in her eyes

“ok, bye baby” I peck her lips and went out of our dorm

In the store at the ground floor

Krystal is waiting the casher who is recording her purchase

“Krystal, it’s that you” krystal turned around when she heard her name is called

“Minho, right. Long time no see” she smiled towards her high school friend

“Yeah, it’s been a long time, right. I think may be about 6 or 7 years. We haven’t met each other after the high school graduation. How have you been?, you are still beautiful though” he asked.

“yeah, it’s been a long time. I graduated 2 years ago with business administration degree and currently working in a company” she answered.

“how about you?” she asked

“me, I didn’t have the chance to go to college. My father died after my high school graduation and I have to work in his firm to support my mother and my younger siblings.” He answered with sad expression.

“Oh. I am sorry to hear that” krystal said and at the same time she hugged him in hope of comforting the grieve of young man.

Amber’s pov after the krystal departure from the dorm

I glance at my right bottom corner of my computer and it shows 7pm.

I don’t like to let krystal go outside alone without me especially at night.

I just don’t want to argue with her, that’s why I stayed here.

Another glance, 7:03pm. “whooo..” sigh, krystal said to finish my work but how am I supposed to focus knowing that she is alone.

“Arrr. What takes her so long” another glance 7:07pm.

Tic…tock….tic….tock….tic….tock

Another glance 7:11pm. “Arr it feels like eternity. Whatever I am going to fetch her” I stood up and went down to the ground floor.

There she is I smiled but when my view is clear that she is not alone and talking to a man, I felt my anger starting boiling inside me, I clenched my fist and watched her smiling and happily talking to him.

“That’s it” I felt like I am about to explode when I saw she hug him and I immediately go in there.

I yanked her away from him and punched him hard that he fell onto the ground.

“oh my god, minho” she exclaimed and go to him.

I grab her wrist and took the glossary bag and when I was about taking the step.

I felt my collar yanked hard and then he is about to punch me

“MINHO,DON’T.” she shouted and he stopped his fist in air but don’t lose the grab on my collar and glare at me

I glare at him back and “don’t ever f__king touch my girlfriend and next time will be more than one punch” I said through gritted teeth.

He eyes wide in surprise and let go of me

He glance at krystal.

Krystal looked him with apology in her eyes and said “Minho, I am sorry. See you next…”

 I didn’t wait her to finish her sentence and drag her out of the store.

Inside the elevator

Dead cold silence

At once they reach inside the dorm

K-“WHAT IS F—KING WRONG WITH YOU”-

A-“WHAT IS F—KING WRONG WITH ME, WHAT IS F—KING WRONG WITH ME, ISN’T IS THE QUESTION THAT I SUPPOSE TO ASK YOU, YOU ARE HUGGING HIM, REMEMBER. ARE YOU CHEATING ON ME” and I punched the glass table.

K-‘HE IS JUST MY HIGH SCHOOL FRIEND HAVEN’T MET IN A WHILE AND I HUGGED HIM BECAUSE I JUST WANT TO COMFORT MY FRIEND WHO LOST HIS FATHER IN YOUNG AGE’ she kneeled down and sit on the floor

K-“why are…sob… you always…sob.. like that? Why are you…sob…always doubting about my love for you?” she lean on the couch and cover her face with her hand

A-when I heard her say I soften and kneel down in front of her

A-“hey, baby…baby look at me” I remove her hand from her face and I felt so sad when I saw her eyes with tears

 -she avoid her gaze from me “ hey, baby look at me please” I cup her face “ I am sorry, I am sorry. Ok . I just that I love you so much, so much baby” I kiss her eyes “ I just I love you so much that I can’t stand watching someone try to near you” I said and about to kiss her

K-“NO” she push me and glare at me

   -“you always say the same thing. You know what I am done. I am f—king done with you. I can’t stand your possessiveness anymore. Your love is so suffocation, SO SUFFOCATING”

A-“baby don’t say that I am sorry ok.” I try to grab her hand. But she avoid and went in the bed room and took her purse and car key.

A-“baby where are you going, don’t leave me please.” I desperately grab her hand when she is about went out the dorm

K-“let go of my hand, amber liu”

A-her tone is so cold, I furiously shock my hand . she yank her hand and went out the doom.

 I follow her saying how sorry I am over and over again but she won’t listen.

“Ding” the elevator door open

She went in and face me, I also want to go in but the look she is giving me is warning me not to.

“good bye” and the elevator door close

I kneeled down in front of the elevator door holding my heart.
