Foreword
"Do you think I'm weird?"
The other girl in the room looked up from the book in her hand when the question had been spoken. One eyebrow was raised and her head turned towards the girl seated by the desk in the room. Their gazes met. The hand that held the book lowered, rested limply on her lap as she continued to hold the other girl's gaze.
"You know what I think of you." Taeyeon stated but didn't look away from Jessica's form.
A smile grew on Jessica's lips and she shifted a bit in her seat on the desk chair before she looked back at Taeyeon again, her smile growing wider as she met the latters eyes.
"Do I?" She asked and tilted her head to the right.
A frown appeared on Taeyeon's lips and she let her gaze go down to the book resting on her lap. She flipped a page and looked up at Jessica again, meeting the other girl's expectant gaze she realized Jessica was waiting for her to say what she thought of her. A sigh left her lips and she shook her head.
"Yes, you do know." Taeyeon said and let her gaze go back to the book once again. She nibbled on her lower lip, tried to find the words she was looking for, before she released it. "You're not weird, you're unique. And I love you for exactly who you are." She finally said and looked up at Jessica again. She felt a blush had appeared on her cheeks, but she continued to hold Jessica's gaze neverthless.
"Thank you." Jessica stated with a smile. "I love you the way you are, too." The girl added before she turned around in her seat and went back to what she had been doing in front of her laptop.
Taeyeon continued to look at Jessica's back that faced her. Her shoulders slumped and she shook her head and picked up the book she had been reading, she glanced one last time at the girl by the desk and felt a smile tug at her lips before she finally let her eyes settle on the words in the book.
