Dear sister
Description
Krystal is being sent to her parents’ friends’ house in the countryside as punishment for breaking school rules. During her stay in the countryside she writes letters to her sister to tell her about what she’s doing, and about all the people she meets…
Foreword
“Dear sister,
I still don’t understand the purpose of this. If mom and dad had listened to me I wouldn’t be sitting on this bus going to place in the middle of nowhere. What if they don’t have running water there? Do they expect me to do my business in the woods?!”
A sigh escaped the girl’s lips and she looked up from the paper in her lap. Her eyes went outside the window of the bus, frowning at the sight of all the fields, and herds of horses and cows.
Krystal didn’t like this at all. She would rather have been put to work in the city she lived in, or had her phone and laptop taken away from her. But no. Instead her parents had to send her away to a place far away from home. Far away from her friends.
Another sigh escaped the girl’s lips and she looked down on the letter she had begun writing to her sister. She tapped the top against the paper before she turned it around and placed the end of it against the paper and slowly began to write again.
“Tell mom and dad that this is not going to teach me anything except for how to hate them.
Love,
Krystal”
