Second, I was feeling angsty these past few days, so I needed to write this.
A drabble. 500 words.
He woke up, the soft yellow rays of the sun seeping through the curtains, a warm hand flung over his chest protectively. He sighed in content. The hand on his chest twitched, the face lying on the pillow next to him scrunched up cutely, trying not to open those beautiful brown eyes. He pulled the man closer to him, and finally those wonderful eyes opened and looked at him sleepily.
It was rare for them to wake up like this, in each other’s arms. Usually, when either of them came home, the other would be sound asleep. Seunghyun always cherished these mornings the most. “Good morning, sleepyhead,” he murmured as he kissed Jiyong’s forehead.
Jiyong hummed and tipped his head forward to place a kiss on Seunghyun’s neck. He didn’t want to wake up. Not yet. The moment was too perfect.
They laid there, Seunghyun’s hand carding through Jiyong’s soft hair, Jiyong slipping his fingers between the other. Content. That’s how they both felt at this moment.
