A Day in the Park
Will We Make It Work?a short drabble that came to me suddenly that i originally wanted to post in GTOP One-Shots Collection but as you'll see there was no way this could be canon *sigh*
but it was for the best i guess since i haven't updated this story since may *gasp*
it's really short but i hope you guys like it ^___^
Jiyong didn’t know how Seunghyun managed to convince him to do this, but here he was, in the park, wearing his gym shorts and a tank. On the grass in front him, Seunghyun stretched his arms, then his legs, one by one. He knew he needed to do the same, but he was literally dragged from the comfort of his bed for something he didn’t want to do.
“Come on, it’ll be fun!” was what Seunghyun said to lure him into running with him. Jiyong scoffed.
Seunghyun, who finished warming up, stood up and faced Jiyong, running in place. “Ready?”
Jiyong sighed. “As I’ll ever be.”
They started out running side by side, but eventually Seunghyun pulled ahead. He paused every now and then to wait for Jiyong. In the end, Jiyong told him he should go as fast he wanted and that he’ll catch up.
And that was how Jiyong found himself running alone in the park. He stopped every now and then to take a breather, and then continued.
Thirty minutes later, he was almost back to their starting point. He could see Seunghyun from where he stood; standing near a bench with his leg perched high on the edge of it, stretching no doubt while waiting for him to catch up. He started to pick up his pace when he stopped again.
There was a girl flirting with Seunghyun. His Seunghyun.
He hadn’t noticed her a second ago because she was blocked from his view by one of the dozen trees in his path. She leaned against the same bench as Seunghyun, lifted her leg behind her and grabbed it with her hand, stretching it. She did it once then stopped, focused on Seunghyun, trying to get his attention.
She reached out and touched Seunghyun’s arm, her head tilted back as she laughed.
