"Sorry sweety, you know I'm just as excited as you are. Be on your best behaviour, arasseo?"
"Ne~! I have to go now, okay? Love you, Daddy! Bye!"
Today's the day. You're attending a new high school, but not just any high school, nooooo, it's the high school — Dalelia Academy.
Dalelia Academy is not only well known for it's high status, but also for its selection of students. Every staff and student there is respected, honoured, and basically treated like royalty. From what you remember, you have seen a media ad of the school and how it seemed to reflect the size of a mansion. As awesome as the school sounds, it isn't simple to get accepted. You don't just go to the office and register like any normal high school. People who wish to enroll must fit into one or more of these categories: high-above-average smart, gifted with a special talent, or is wealthy. Obviously, enrolling means great costs — for the uniform, the textbooks, and sponsors. With high status comes high standards. The whole city of Seoul even knows how five-starred the school is. Everyone knows it's a big deal.
And better yet, you just got accepted! Yay!
After double-checking yourself in the mirror from every angle possible, you finally grabbed your school bag, put on your shoes, and left your home. Waiting nearby was your private driver who your dad had arranged to take you to school and back. The driver opened your car door and you sat inside, already feeling anxious. The drive took about ten minutes, not long enough for you to wonder about everything — how you would introduce yourself, greet others, picture how the inside of the school looked, and how you were a terrible navigator, so most likely you could be found in the lost-and-found bin. Because of all your distracting thoughts, you didn't notice you had already arrived near the grand gates marked with the words 'Dalelia' in fancy carved letters. Just a moment ago, you were at the driveway of your house, then, you were in Dalelia Academy property.
The ad you remembered did indeed show you it was mansion-like, but up close, it seemed like that was only a fraction of the luxurious school, which in fact looked a hundred times bigger. You stood there gaping at the extraordinary sight for a while. You were thinking if it was true that you were selected out of several hundred — no, more like several thousand — students. Answer is 'yes'. Is it even possible for the Board to mix another person's entry for yours? Answer is 'no'. Of course the school board administration goes through your registraiton ID and such, but for this school, they check every. single. piece of identity for proof, including your whole family's, just to make sure.
While you were standing at the gates and gapping, there was a buzz and then came a voice. "Hello, can I help you with somethin
